To give a background, our backyard was dirt only and we needed both a design and installation. Marsha (our project manager) was excellent. From the initial consultation throughout the construction phase, she was very attentive to all of our questions and concerns, and was very up front about all pricing and costs to get the job done. We received half a dozen quotes from various landscapers, and ZonaWorks was one of the most competitive of the bunch. Either Marsh or one of the owners were on site daily during the project, and installed everything with attention to detail making sure that were were happy with everything. At completion, the workers cleaned everything and left the yard looking like a model home. Alejandro (Owner) provided a thorough walk thru and made sure to show us how to operate the drip/sprinkler system and gave some tips on plant maintenance. I recently used Tranquil Oasis to complete several landscaping projects at my home. It all started…read morewith the backyard where they add pavers to extend the patio, realigned a paver pathway, added plants and trees, added both turf and a small area of real grass (for our dogs), updated irrigation, removed gravel and added river rock. I was so pleased with the work that I contracted them to do my front yard and side yards as well. For the front yard, Nick the owner, provided a scale drawing of the new layout following our conversations about what I was looking for. After HOA approval, they transformed my mainly gravel front yard into a beautiful park-like environment with turf, new plants, new lights, new irrigation, new pavers. It's beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Finally, I asked them to update my side yard. It was originally an ugly, unused gravel area with weeds. After collaborating with Nick, he came up with a beautiful design that once again transformed a small space. They added grass (for the dogs), irrigation, pavers, river rock, a new hose bib, lighting, bottle brush trees that will eventually provide nice shade for this east facing area (but won't overwhelm the space), and they assembled several vego planters (for which I haven't quite decided what I want planted there) Nick, along with his foreman Guillermo and the rest of the team, are professional, responsible, responsive, creative, collaborative, easy to work with, and create beautiful spaces. I kept adding to the projects and they took every request in stride. I couldn't be more happy with the transformation they completed at my home and recommend them without hesitation. I got lots of quotes and had 5 6 or so companies come out to provide estimates for the scope of work. Jason, owner of The Hardworkers, was the last estimate I got,. We initially had concrete in mind, but Jason let us know he got of out concrete and primarily does pavers, as they look better and are stronger. We honestly just assumed pavers would be out of our price range, but opted to get a quote to remove a few sections of our walkway to add the driveway, raise the wall and then a quote to pave around our shed. Though the quote may not have been the cheapest, we also added a project and the over value and product could not be beat. I also truly believe you get what you pay for and Jason and his team do awesome work. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality, attention to details and efficiency his team provides.
