J & A Pavers were awesome to work with from start to finish and provided a quality of workmanship that exceeded my expectations. Jesus the owner responded to my Yelp request for a quote very quickly. He communicated with me clearly on the project of digging up and replacing a sunken cracked cement walkway next to my house. He was one of 5 companies I had bid on the job that actualy gave me a written quote where the others only quoted verbally. Right there he established a good rapport with me. He then clearly discussed options for the project allowing me the option to think about what was best with his guidance. He never pushed me to make a decision or pressured me to work with him. With him establishing a great working relationship I knew I had the "guy" for the job and I hired him. He gave me a start date and we were a go. I contacted before the date of work and made a change to the project and he happily adjusted the quote. Surprisingly and conveniently he called me and offered to do the work a day early, so I took him up on the offer. He could have taken a day off but decided to do this job for me. Again, strengthening my decision to go with his company. He showed up on time, YAY! and began the work. He took time for me to "bug" him a few times as they were working and explained where they were at and how they were doing with the work. The guy was just genuinely interested in customer satisfaction. When they were complete I inspected the work before they left and they made sure I was completely happy with the job. They even cleaned up the debris and made sure they left the area as it was when they got there. They worked hard in the heat of the day and produced a result I was very happy with. They showed me the extra steps they took to provide a good foundation where this new walkway shouldn't sink now. I liked Jesus so much that I will be hiring him for a bigger project near my pool area soon.
