I bought this Harmony Sectional and I didn't think I would need to buy any warranty on it because I take care of my furniture. I went into the Soncy store and I talked to a sales lady about my couch. She said customer support would be reaching out in two to three days to talk to me. Customer service is so rude and sarcastic when he called me to talk to me about my complaint with the quality of my couch. I didn't buy a five year warranty and my couch is three years and eleven months old. The customer service rep said it was eleven months past the three year warranty and they won't fix it. I thought I was buying a quality made couch which I'm seeing it's not. My mom has always sat in the middle seat as it's a three seater and her weight is what I think caused this to ruin springs or the casing. The customer service rep said it may be the springs need to be replaced or the couch cushion casing is damaged with wear and tear. I am so disappointed with Havertys because they never told me there was a weight limit on the couch cushions. I am not asking for a couch replacement but I would like Havertys to fix my couch because it didn't have any support in the middle seat underneath to support someone sitting in the middle. If they don't fix my couch I won't ever buy from there company again and I won't recommend them to anyone either. I am writing in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau to let them know so maybe Havertys will fix my couch and make it right. If you buy anything from this company, but the highest year warranty they have because this company doesn't make or sell long lasting furniture, and you will be fixing quality repairs that shouldn't have broken. First of all there must have been a change in management. The previous reviews look to be from 2 to 4 years old. Our experience this week has been nothing but perfect. Don Johnson, our sales rep, has made our furniture buying experience very successful and enjoyable. We were so undecided on two different living room groups. He worked with us and told us we had 72 hours once it was delivered to make sure that we liked it. If not, we could return and order the other one. Kish did a follow up call to see how things were going. Ultimately we ended up returning part of our order and they didn't hesitate in allowing us to do so. Let me preface this by asking the following question, is there an option for zero stars? In August 2014, we ordered desks for our new building from Havertys located on 34th and Soncy. When the desks were delivered, they were missing pivotal bolts for assembly. This hindered our establishment immensely, because we needed functional desks for our partners to reopen for business. Bolts were supposed to be FedExed to us, but we did not receive said bolts until January, 2015. We also ordered a bed for our home from the same Havertys located on 34th and Soncy. We were guaranteed delivery on January 5, 2015, anywhere from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. We waited for delivery and received a phone call on January 5, 2015 at 11:15 AM stating that our order had been rescheduled to the following day, January 6, 2015 during the same time window, 9:30 to 11:30 AM. On January 6, 2015, we waited for delivery from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. At 11:32 AM, we called Havertys to inquire about the delay, and were told that they were an hour behind schedule. After having attended a Ritz Carlton Leadership in Customer Service course for our own business, we have very high standards when it comes to this area. We go above and beyond to provide a top of the line experience for our customers, and expect the same when we are the consumers. I ordered a bed and a desk. The salesman told me order a bunky board to be able to put the mattress. My delivery got here and they were missing the bunky board so I have a bed but I can't put the mattress on it. They were not able to put the desk together because they were missing parts. So I ordered furniture and all I got is parts. Called customer service and they were of no help. After buying a sofa and loveseat and having it covered in a custom fabric, the back cushions began to fall almost immediately. When I opened the cushions I realized that the stuffing had been thrown in there and it was going everywhere. I have been waiting since September to get this fixed. When I finally did get the replacement parts in May, they had sent replacements for the seat cushions and not the back cushions. When I talk to someone in the corporate office, I was told that my sofa was almost a year old & might not be under warranty. We went in today and a gentleman helped us. I got his card and will update when Im close by it. We were looking for a specific piece- the Bradenton, surprisingly he knew them all by name and took us straight to it. Then he took us to another piece that may fit our needs. We also requested platform beds and buffets and again- did his job wonderfully. He didn't rush us and wasn't pushy, just helpful. Very nice furniture store. If we find something we want, I'll definitely come back. Also glad Amarillo has at least 1 furniture store still left open! read more

I have purchased furniture for an entire home (twice) from Haverty's. Their furniture is very high quality and service above reproach.

If they have online or another media source they are hiring...DON'T APPLY!!! Seriously. They brought me in an hour long interview and I thought it went great. So they scheduled me to come back the next today to fill out a paper application after that they had me do an assessment that took over two ours long!!! questions that do not tie in the company what so ever for example "Who was John Milton?" and "When did WWII start!!! Not applying for a middle school student!!! Then they call me after the fourth of July and said they didn't need anyone until maybe the following month!! I was furious. That's three plus years I cannot get back. Very unprofessional and rude. I KNOW I will never go in there again!!! read more
