We purchased a beautiful 6000.00 reclining sectional sofa in 2021. After 8 months it finally arrived at our garage. We brought it in and set it up. We have been happily using it off and on when we are not in our single recliners. For such a "high-end" sofa we cannot understand why it is already showing wear when we barley use it in our formal living room and yet the cheap 2500.00 sofa we purchased in Wichita Falls at Furniture Row is still holding its shape!!! We will never purchase the Chinese made items again at Haverty's- nor will we purchase anything they sell due to the fact that they advertise everything as being made in the USA. read more

These people or horrible and could care less. If you shop here DO NOT pay for your item until you receive it. I purchased an entertainment center over a month ago ( 4000.00) I have yet to receive it un damaged. They delivered a replacement with the exact same damage, rescheduled, stood me up on the next delivery and have yet to make it right. Not to mention they broke a priceless heirloom but ohhhh.... They offered me $150.00 store credit for it. Which we all know equates to about $35.00 to them. What an insult. read more

These folks don't seem to care. We ordered two leather sofas May 5. Dates were not guarantied, but the expected delivery date was July 5th. We even checked to ensure that the date was doable. I called July 7th after no contact from any one at Havertys and was told they might get here by the end of August. I immediately protested to the service manager who do didn't appear to care, but gleefully offered me a refund. This is truly a store that just doesn't care. They don't check, communicate, follow up, or notify you of any changes to your order. It certainly seems as if they just don't care. I will never shop here again. SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!! with their product and customer service. We bought a nice looking marble dining table for $1200. Nobody told us the table was not sealed/waxed. First of all who sells $$$$ worth product without sealing it. What kind of store expects their customer to buy stuff and do the remaining job. So yes we put a glass of water on it and there was a big old watermark ring then another mark....all this in matter of an hour. So we go back to the store to find out the return policy is like 3 days‍. They sent us back saying they will have "someone" come and fix it for us. Since that "someone" didn't call us I used their online chat service to ask about when that "someone" was coming to take care of the issue. And the representative messages me back saying they don't offer that kind of service. They also told us whoever from the store told us that "someone" will come to fix the issue must have been "confused or unaware" of that. Looks like they are unaware of of lot of things but please be aware you have lost a customer and their trust. So all you people planning to go to Haverty make sure you do your homework. I have learned my lesson. read more

This place is terrible. The only good service we received was when we purchased something. Half of what we purchased still isn't "here" and no one has ever called to update us when it would be like they have said. It has been close to 5 months and still no luck is receiving what we ordered. Everytime I call I am literally hung up on at least once by someone answering and talking to whoever is in the room with them and then click! Once I do have someone on the line they're incredibly rude and never have a straight answer for me. I have had to go into the store twice and I'm told the same BS of "it's in Atlanta and it'll be here in two weeks". Y'all are literally the worst I have ever dealt with and I have purchased from Aaron's lol. Update to previous review. The store did in fact return and replace the couch. The only kicker was nothing stood out as awesome to me especially color wise. When I'd find a great couch the colors or fabric were wrong. Some couches had great fabrics but poor reviews. We opted in a nice couch and chair combo in grey. I kick myself because for 200$ more could have had khaki and that would have matched my curtains so now my 1200$ curtains are for sale lol. My fault. It's expensive. I may not do it again unless i need a specialty item. Their real leather stuff amazing (and expensive) but 12 years ago we bought a recliner in full grain leather that's lasted 3 kids and 5 dogs and it's just starting to show wear cracks (i did not do due diligence on conditioning. Didn't know was supposed to) so when and off it needs replaced i figure the investment is worth it for this wonderful chair. Couches are fine but i ended up paying double what i originally wanted to but it's sturdy. Fabrics awesome and it's going to last decades. It's classic. ----------- I have tried. I really have. I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture over the years and didn't want poor quality (bigger stores nearby) from lower end level stores. This was finally the couch and chair I'd have when all my kids were grown and gone. Very little traffic on this furniture. We'd gotten a mayo from Stacys 14 years earlier. Loved that couch. My son cut it with a steak knife and I never could flip couches (he was 8) even tho it was small. The couch never wore funny because we didn't flip either. It came with chair and ottoman. Ottoman finally broke. Anyway my daughter now has that couch and it's fine still. Back to the issue at hand. I bought a custom made couch "the Jillian" well over 2,000$. It took 6 weeks to be made me received it. Beautiful red material with feather and down large back cushions. Within 6 month the cushions started breaking down. Remember I have NO children. We don't entertain much. My husband has brain cancer so he does lay on the couch occasionally. It's not heavily used. They offered to replace foam in seats but couldn't tell me if firmer softer or same kind of cushion. Also the couch sits way to low you almost have to roll off the couch. The arm rests are Horrible! Woood is sharp edged and just underneath the fabric like no foam. Hubby in e banged his head on that hard armrest. It's like the edge of a 2x2 with thin fabric. The guy said "oh they use 1" batting around strips of wood and you're going to feel it" BATTING? Not heavy dense FOAM??? Are you kidding me? My couch sucks and because this was such a huge investment should have lasted me 20 years but doesn't look like it'll last 3. I will now avoid Havarties and will tell my entire 6,000 home subdivision near there to avoid. If this was one of their top of the line couches then what the heck are the rest of them like? Wow what a great experience!!!!! We walked into Havertys Furniture store at about 5:00 pm my wife and I as we walked in we're were greeted by a sales associate by the name of Cynthia Dwinnell. That night we picked out new furniture for our new Townhome. We are downsizing and sold all of our old furniture. What we didn't know is Cynthia also does interior decorating. To make a long story short ,Cynthia stayed with us,until way after the store closed and let me tell you Cynthia is WONDERFUL!!! The shelf on the entertainment system fell and almost knocked our TV to the floor. I secured it, but a couple of weeks later, a recall of as issued. We bought a sectional as well. The frame is falling apart, so I filed a claim. Guardsman, 3rd party warranty, assisted in helping me with the claim. They mislead me in the process and then denied the claim. I purchased an expensive fireplace type entertainment stand. Loved it! I purchased a set of office furniture costing me over $3000. Liked it! I purchased 4 Shag rugs and one cost me over a grand. Loved them all. Kept 2 of the shag rugs for myself and sent 2 overseas for my father. Purchased several accessories and loved them all. Well guess what, Synchrony cancelled my account after I paid off my last promotional purchase in February. They were all under the promotional timeline because I did not want to be saddled with a large balance. I never paid late. Always paid 4/5 times more than the minimum price and this is how I was rewarded. Is this what our world has come to? These finance companies would rather you not pay, pay late, and or pay occasional so they can ruin you and make additional money off you but if you chose to do the right thing, you are soooooooooooo unworthy. If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered furniture for our new house, paid cash and set our delivery date for May 7th. We confirmed the proper delivery address with the store on April 13. We received a text 3 days before our furniture was to be delivered (May 4) and the text had the improper address. We coordinated other moving activities with the expectation that this company would hold true to their commitment. The proper delivery address is only 15 minutes from the invalid address they had in their system, yet they refuse to uphold their delivery commitment. The store is trying to delay our furniture for a week. This will cost us money and time, yet they have not offered a viable resolution (like have their drivers drive to the proper address) read more

The moment I walked into the store my friend and I were immediately welcomed by an associate (Darrell) . I was looking for King size Bedroom set that had storage under the bed and could be delivered within 2weeks or less. After walking around the showroom finding the style and color; it did have an option of storage under the bed. So he wrote up my request and told me I could have it within 4days! He even helped me set up an at home complimentary home interior design consultation. I liked that I was able to visualize the furniture I was about to buy and there was absolutely no guessing. Bought my whole dinning room set, bedroom set and living room set from here. The dining table came with scratches and I had to exchange for a new one. The second one's finish peeled off within a year, you can't touch the table or put anything on top of it and apparently can't put it near a window bc everything alters the color which you can imagine is really inconvenient for something you're suppose to eat on everyday. Called customer service within the warranty expiration month but after the specific date and was told it would cost $200 to repair. Paid off my debt within a year, was planning on purchasing more but will NOT be buying anything from them moving forward. The cost of the repair is almost as much as a table somewhere else with the same quality and I am disappointed with the lack of flexibility their warranty covers for being such a big company, which again was within the same month. read more

My drivers license expires in 3 weeks and she was not going to except it because it was expiring this month. She had to call over Manager Julie to approve. What kind of store policy is this!! The service was wonderful. However, we signed up for 18 months 0% financing on our furniture. The company Havertys uses, Synchrony Financial, for financing has secretly be screwing us. We never received a proper payment to pay off the amount in 18 months. Instead we get a minimum payment that will keep us paying long after our 18 month 0% financing is up. Synchrony Financial told us to bad you are responsible for figuring out what you payment needs to be. This has never happened before. I have never had anything financed where the company says oh by the way we won't tell you what your payment is going to be we will only give you a minimum payment to keep you in debt forever. Shame on Havertys for continuing to use this Synchrony Financial and shame on Synchrony Fiancial for pulling this trick on who knows how many Americans. read more

Delivered the wrong furniture the first time, then delivered to the wrong address the second time, then delivered pieces that don't work ( recliner ) still waiting on Haverty's to get it right. Also no one from customer service has offered to make it right! I purchased 2 Wrangler sofas from this location. My shopping experience was okay our associate (John) was polite. I was looking for white leather sofas or light color that reclined. John was helpful with building "custom" reclining sofas to show us the cost. Although he never offered to get the designer involved to see if what I was looking at would fit in my space he was kind enough to write down the dimensions of the furniture so I could check it myself. The biggest upset came after the purchase. The "custom" sofas that were delivered were the wrong color! Haverty's did not offer to leave at least one sofa until they could bring the right one instead it was a better idea for them to leave me with no living room furniture for a week. I received a call the day before the second attempt to deliver my furniture, and the automotive message had the delivery for the wrong address. So I opted to speak to a person and gave them the correct address. The day of delivery I received a text with a 2 hour time frame for delivery. I wasn't able to take off of work so I had my daughter at my place to accept the sofas. My daughter sent a message once the 2 hr time frame had past and there had been no delivery. I had received a message on my phone 35 min prior from the drive saying they were 15 min out. I called to find out what was gong on and of coarse it was sent to the wrong address even after I called the day before to avoid this very thing from happing. Once again Haverty's customer service thought it was a good idea to reschedule the delivery date and leave me with no furniture again! I told them NO, I have been without furniture for a week because they messed up the first time. Finally the furniture was delivered but I never received a call from costumer service to ask if everything was okay and if I was happy, strange to me because rooms to go and Nebraska furniture mart both called minutes after they've delivered products to my home. When I got home to look at my new "custom" sofas I find a piece that doesn't even work. I'm still waiting on the issue to be resolved. Not once has Haverty's offered to make things right with me.
