It's currently displayed as a Grease Monkey which made me so happy to see when I pulled up because I've always lived Grease Monkey no matter which location I'm near. They did not disappoint! They were extremely attentive and responsive. I pulled into the oil change lane with 3 cars ahead of me and I was checked in immediately. The attendant was very kind and informative. All the lines moved very quickly and everyone was super fun but professional. The cashier also comes out to you when they're finished so you don't have to leave your car after the change. Of course it's always going to take awhile since each change takes about 15 minutes, but the time went by as quickly as it could've and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Okay, so I typically just do reviews of restaurants and foods and stuff, but my experience today just made me have to sit down and write one for these folks as well. I am in such shock about what happened here today (6/18/19): the most pleasant experience ever having to go "spend time" having to do the mandatory oil change! Greeted immediately in a very friendly way and then I put that "spend time" in quotes on purpose because from start to finish? 15 minutes tops. I brought a book to read thinking it would take forever (*sigh*... doesn't it always??) But nope. When they finished, a different equally friendly technician made a point to then sit with me, explain everything they checked, fluids they filled, etc., and didn't even try to up-sell me or talk me into unnecessary things (which I already know I didn't need, having taken care of other things recently -- but always curious if places will try to do that anyway). WHAT. When so many places try to take advantage of folks, this place was truly a breath of fresh air today. I even mentioned I was about to go on a 1000 mile road trip and they didn't change their tune -- only asked when my last tire rotation was, confirmed I was fine when they heard my answer, and suggested looking at that service either with them or my dealership on my return instead. After my experience today, I can't recommend them enough. (Plus, go online and get a coupon for $10 off too. Ladies? Wednesdays you get the $10 without even having a coupon.) It shouldn't have to be said, but we ladies know this is true: sometimes when a woman pulls up by herself at a dealership, mechanic, or car service place, we're treated like we don't know cars or what we actually need. I was thrilled with their service and speed until I went for my next oil change and discovered that my oil filter cap (not sure of the proper name for it) was placed back on my car with a missing piece. This missing piece could have caused major and costly damage to my engine because it kept the filter from going up into the engine. It took several hours at my next oil change to remedy it because parts had to ordered. It's scary to know people aren't paying attention when working on our cars. This place is busy which leads to a chaotic experience. I went for the $20 emissions test. I typically sit in my car while getting the test done. Because of the tight parking lot and volume of customers, I had to wait in the lobby. The lobby is roomy and has a big screen TV. The whole ordeal took about 45 minutes compared to the 10 minute drive thrus. I appreciate the location but would only go back for the emmission test if I was also coming in for other services as well. read more

The people here are so nice! This is now a Grease Monkey, but either way, when I showed up (a Saturday afternoon) there was a crazy backed-up line of cars surrounding the building due to a food chain that shares the same building. The guys here were so understanding that I was in a hurry for my emissions test, they let me pull into a parking spot and they brought the equipment out to me. Easily saved me like 15 minutes. I have a Lexus that gets serviced at the dealership (because parts are pricey and I want them to be liable for all work) but I come here for emissions (they always say Happy Birthday which is cute) and tasks like changing filters. I've saved money here and I'm impressed with the consistent level of service. Always fast while maintaining professionalism and from my observation they're trustworthy. I've overheard many conversations in which they've been honest with customers about when the vehicle should actually go back to the dealership and there's no pressure to accept their service recommendations. I had a great 1st time experience ! Customer Service I was greeted as soon as I drove in the parking lot. One of the mechanics met me at my car and drove it in to be serviced. I am floored by the incredibly service I received today. I went in for a routine oil change and the techs discovered that the company that changed my oil last destroyed my oil filter housing... this would not allow my filter to sit flush and was causing a leak. I had lost almost ALL my oil. After diagnosis, the techs replaced my old filter, filled up my oil. AND CHARGED ME NOTHING!!! They went ABOVE and BEYOND to fix someone else's screw up. I am due for major repairs and the techs just wanted to make sure I was safe and could drive home. They also took pictures of the damage caused by the other company and sent me home with the old filter. This level of care and customer service doesn't happen anymore. Bravo! I'm extremely disappointed by the service I received and I will be following up with management. I've also told friends and family to not come here. After taking my car in for some recommended tune-ups for an older vehicle (flushing the radiator, etc) my car would NOT start the next day. Before this I had absolutely no problems with getting my car started. The following Monday I still was unable to start my car. We were able to jump it and I brought it in to Havoline to explain my situation. I was very concerned with the battery and asked the tech to do whatever possible to test everything and see what was wrong. After less than 10 minutes, he told me that they had looked at everything and it looked fine. I asked if he tested the battery and he told me they had and it was in good shape. I asked about the starter, fluids, and battery terminals. He said they had and it was fine, the car was starting. Since I had already taken a day off of work to handle this problem, I waited around for 2 hours to make sure it was actually handled. They said cleaning up the corrosion off the battery should take care of the problem. Sure enough, it started so I trusted the tech did his due diligence. On Tuesday, the car wouldn't start and I YET AGAIN had to inform my boss I wouldn't be coming into work. I called AAA. A tech from AAA actually ran all necessary tests (which takes more than 10 minutes) and showed me that the battery needed to be replaced. He point blank told me I had been lied to. There was no way the people at Havoline had tested my battery and thought it was okay. Thanks to AAA, and no thanks to Havoljne, the problem was identified and solved in under an hour. I had a legitimate concern and when I tried to address it, I was not taken seriously and directly lied to by the people at Havoline. I urge anyone reading this to take your car somewhere where they will prioritize quality over speed and actually listen to the customer. read more

This place is quick, easy and efficient. I hate getting my oil changed, especially in the city, because it takes forever and ends up being expensive from adding on additional items you need. You don't have to worry about that here- they just changed my oil and rotated my tires upon my request. They showed me my air filter and said maybe next time I will need to get it changed but I'm fine for now. They didn't try to force me or trick me into getting other services. Oooh, emissions testing! This review might be as fun as my review for the IRS. Or the DDS. Yelping ain't always about fun times and food, y'all. You've got to get your emissions done once a year and it shouldn't be a pain. This Havoline location made it one of the easier government processes, as I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Plus, they only charge $20 vs the $25 at the Cactus across the street. (Sidenote: Cactus has changed its name to Mister Shine or something like that, but to me it will always be Cactus). The couple employees I dealt with were all very friendly and they didn't try to upsell me. I was also impressed as they gave what I assumed was a very honest rundown to another customer, noting that some things could wait while others needed to be dealt with soon. I appreciate a lack of swindling as much as I appreciate a car that passes the emissions test. read more
