Whether you're a…read morechild exploring art for the first time or an adult looking to refine your skills, there's something here for everyone. I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! If you're looking for a place to explore your creative side, I highly recommend checking out the Art Center. Great value for 8 weeks art class at $280

He was VERY knowledgeable as he can spout out the origin of the artwork and artist's mini bio by memory. The artwork came all over: Spain, Russia, Italy, etc. There were water colored and oil paintings, sculptures, to even a few black light paintings. Yes, black light. When viewed under the black light, these piece will awe you. There will be a garden coming soon since it is a work in progress when we visited here this past Sat. From the plant's labels, there will be a variety of plant species. Although small and right in front of the gallery, you can sit and enjoy the sun's warmth and take in the nature's beauty. Even though this was a small gallery, it took about an hour to an hour and a half to fully enjoy the artwork and get the history of some of the pieces. And though I was here for the Motion and Light exhibit, I enjoyed the whole gallery and the guidance from the gentleman. I can't wait for the garden to be complete and for the warmer weather to arrive. Admissions to this place is totally free btw. And sometimes the artist will visit and meet and greet events are organized here as well.

The bathroom has become dreamy, serene and joyful, and I find myself walking in there all the time just to admire the scenery. I highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a muralist. She is a skilled painter; the way she filled in the mural around the skylight and ceiling lights worked perfectly. She has a great eye for color and detail and her suggestions were excellent (go with her advice if she tells you to go for a less saturated tone than you had in mind--you will be glad you listened to her). She is easy to work with, and her pricing is very reasonable. She knows her stuff!

My little boy is now 8 months old and after receiving about the 100th+ compliment on the mural and I had to come and post a big thank you. Anna was very responsive in the planning stage and was quick to get us on the schedule knowing I wanted to have the room painted before bringing furniture in. It came out better than I could have hoped for and she was wonderful to work with. Anna is super talented and I would highly recommend her.

I have to admit, it wasn't nearly as messy as I expected--they provided everything we needed and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. My granddaughter had a blast, and thanks to the wonderful employees, she gives this place 10 stars. And, said "We will definitely be back"!!! For me, it was the perfect stress-relief activity and such a great bonding experience. We went at noon, so it was peaceful and relaxed, which made it even better. The staff was incredibly attentive, giving clear instructions before and after our session. It was also nice to see that they offer event spaces for parties and gatherings. Highly recommend Color Sling for anyone looking for a unique, fun, and memorable experience

There are amazing group deals on their website as well as some more information about the business! Melissa, co-owner, was there the day we went in and she was so so welcoming. We were supplied ponchos and shoe coverings as well as lockers for our things and even hair nets and accessories. They thought of it all! Melissa explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable before leaving us to our creativity. I absolutely loved the fact that we were always checked on as well as our paint and cleaning waters. Melissa would make encouraging comments I needed because I for one am not creative. LOL I absolutely cannot wait to drop by again and bring others because I definitely feel it's a very special little place. The vibe just gives and I'm so grateful to know a place like this exists.
