We took a peek inside and promised to return after lunch... And we did! I got a kawaii straw topper that looks like holiday gingerbread. My niece got a rare Red Panda plushie! We were so happy to get reasonably priced, original items (we had never seen these things before). Service was friendly and efficient! The interior of the shop was bright and clean! The shared parking was free! The variety of merchandise ranged from practical (like Elmer's glue, hair ties, pens, refrigerated beverages, zippered pouches, post-it notes, and totebags) to fun (like stickers, fuzzy keychains, and miniature Funko Pop characters). Just love that Workshop 28 has found a home in Pearlridge Center Mauka side on the second floor which is in the spot formerly occupied by Express so you know that it a lovely and spacious shop. The layout is quite spacious so it's so easy to browse the various merchandise they have which is quite a lot and I'm just so impressed with how creative each various items are. Known for the fun coasters that has makes a great gift to pair of any item, the hats that has built in Mickey ears are just so fun and entertaining but the luggage strap that has the built in TSA lock is super cute and makes searching for your bags easier and secure as well. The staff is just a delight as we chatted for a bit and the uniqueness they carry is appreciated for everyone and every room in your home which is something found only right here in Hawaii...supporting local small biz is something that I do love and right here they have that and so much more. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN!!!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this needs to be documented. At Dragon's Lair in Mililani, my daughter purchased a $15 pin with her own pocket money. It broke after only three or four days due to poor assembly. When she politely returned to ask about a replacement, the owner, Lucas, spoke to her with extreme verbal abuse, profanity, and personal insults until she left in tears. When I addressed the situation calmly, he stated that he did not care that he had made a child cry and continued speaking aggressively. This is not about a refund policy. A business can choose its policy. This is about basic conduct toward a minor and a customer. We have supported this store many times, but after this experience, we will not return. Families in Mililani should know how customers, including little children, may be treated here. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing my child back into this store.

The place is small but packed with lots of interesting merch. I have zero knowledge about comics, games, anime, toys, cards, etc. but my kids' eyes lit up when they entered and my youngest couldn't leave without buying an anime plush. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center. LOTS of parking. Support local businesses.
