Went in today for a pedicure, the menu said $29 and would take 30 min. She gave me some nails samples to pick out a color. It took a total of 15 min to do the pedicure and when I went to pay they added an additional $15 for gel. I said she never told me about that. They didnt care. Was the worst pedicure I have ever had. No foot rub nothing, just a quick trim and polish that was it. 15 min what a joke. And they are very rude. They dont even pretend to be courteous. read more

Very disappointed in the Deluxe pedicure. It was suppose to be a 40 minute pedicure and I was done in 20 minutes. She cut my nails way to short and I was told it was my fault for not telling the technician to not cut them short. She did one coat of polish and there was polish everywhere on my feet. She was even laughing about my feet to her co worker. I don't appreciate that. And they wouldn't do anything to make the customer happy. Would not recommend. And will not be going back. read more

I'll never go back. I live around the corner from this place yet for the past two years, I have driven to Pella Nails in Sandy to get my regular pedicure. Today, I figured, why go way out of my way to get my nails done when there is what looks to be a pretty decent establishment less then 2-minutes from my house? I thought I would give Hawaii Nails II a shot and I realize now, I should have stuck with old trusty. Coming from LA (yes, I always feel I need to compare my spa nail experience to whatever mediocre, but functional, service I received in LA), I always have low expectations in getting my nails done. To disappoint those expectations usually equates to a significantly bad experience which was my experience today. The girl who worked on me barely just touched each nail with each of her tools without really doing anything to them. She gave a decent massage that lasted longer than I expected, but did more slapping and pounding than anything really enjoyable. And while the paraffin wax was a pleasant surprise, I have doubts that it was very effective considering it was on for less than a minute. Where I was really disappointed though was in the transaction. The price list indicates a pedicure to be "$25-20". Not sure what that means but I took it to indicated regularly it's $25, but they are offering it for $20. I had to have the girl clarify the price twice. She seemed to say $20 so I went with it. I asked if I could add the tip to the card. She said yes and processed the initial transaction. The price on the receipt said $25. I assumed I misheard her the previous two times, so I added my $4 tip, which is where I went wrong. I was bothered by the whole experience that I called to confirm the price. Previously, both as I walked in the door and as I sat in the chair, I confirmed that I only wanted the standard pedicure. When I called to confirm the price, I was told that standard price was $20. Still kind of dwelling on the experience I am irked because the girl didn't correct me as I wrote out a $4 tip on top of what she obviously assumed I was going to tip her $5 for a $20 service and I am irked that they didn't offer decent customer service nor understand the value of a positive first experience for a customer. Bottom line: I will never go back and I'd rather drive across town to get the service I prefer. read more

If your expecting something grand and out of the box keep driving. They did a nice job. Priced as all the other nail shops in the area are. Pedicures are really fast to get you in but very slow to get your nails done especially if you don't have an appointment. Note to self make an appointment. My bad! It looks like there are 3 other Yelp reviews from 2018 and the rest are prior. I've been to this salon in 2018 at least 5 times now, and had full sets of gel nails, and 1-2 pedicures. Jenny has done my nails a few times and she is accommodating, polite, and talented! She remembered my name when I was there in Nov. 2018 :). This place's prices are a little cheaper than many other salons, and the staff hasn't been pushy with me to upgrade & spend more. I plan to continue to be a return customer. read more

I would never recommend this place for nails. The tech who did my gel nails was in a constant hurry and very sloppy. I have polish all over my fingers around my nails, the gel is stuck to my skin that is painted on my nail. No filing after to shape or level nails out. Very unhappy with the job done. read more

Honestly one of the best salons I've ever been to. They have improved drastically over the years and always are getting in new product. The owners are so nice and try to get to know everyone's names and remember what they get. I will also never go back to this horrible place!! I planned to give my review and was going to be a lot nicer except my feet still hurt I think I have an infection from there! I don't think the guys who worked on my nails are even licensed! They were painful the whole way through. I paid a lot for the gel nails and they are already cracking! These guys used to include a free paraffin foot wax with every pedicure. They no longer include that, you now have to pay extra for the foot wax as well as any callus treatment. Callus treatment should be part of a standard pedi in my book. That's like making me pay extra for the massage. I am very disappointed. I'm sad to see so many bad reviews. I've been in a few times and they give the best pedicures. My favorite part is I'm not asked to spend more money on scrubs or wax dips etc when something needs done they just do it for free. I came here to get my acrylic nails taken off and to just get them filed and polished. I was the only one there so I got served very quickly. The two women there were arguing over who would do my nails. When they decided who would, the woman didn't soak my nails in pure acetone like they were supposed to. Instead, she just ripped them off with pliers! It hurt pretty bad and took off a lot my natural nail along with the acrylic. I don't recommend getting them done here or even just to take them off. read more

I love this place! They are the only ones that can actually do well at putting on your gel nails. The shape is great and they keep them from looking chunky or uneven. I also LOVE getting designs and they do a great job for the most part. Sometimes, they don't like to do certain designs, but they have the rest down perfectly! I usually go to May Nails just across the street from Hawaii Nails but they closed early tonight so I decided to try Hawaii Nails.This place is terrible, the worst nail place I've been to. They didn't soak off my existing nails instead they were Ripped off. Very Painful. The chick was texting constantly and was very unprofessional. She told me they don't offer gel tips either just the glue on tips. She glued on the tips and barely did anything else. I was shocked when I was charged $40 for a job I could have done better myself. I've been to a lot of nail places around Riverton/Herriman and this place has by far been the cleanest, friendliest and fastest (without compromising quality). My daughter and I went in for pedicures and had a great time conversing with staff and really enjoyed their new chairs. This has definitely become our favorite spot and will be returning. read more

Horrible place. I met my friend there and so I was stuck. No shaping, no buffing, no real pedicure at all. I bumped my toe getting out of the chair and they put more polish on top of the big smudge! Looked horrible and the polish came off when I got home. Good grief! I will never, ever grace their doorway again. Absolutely awful! I have been going to Hawaii Nails II for several years. They have great service and are very polite. The store isn't the prettiest shop, but I'm there to enjoy a great pedicure and lower leg massage.
