Great dive with Ed! The boat ride was nice and quick to our dive sites and I saw a turtle on each dive! The equipment was set up for us and it was a great experience overall. Thank you so much!

We had semi-private diving (only 4 divers) which was great. Dive guide Faith is so nice, asking for our experience, caring during the whole time. I had issues with fins underwater and she jumped to help! We also got to see wreck which we didn't expect, which is awesome! We had pineapple for lunch, which was conveniently cut and was so yummy! Only downside is that their new dive computers didn't kick in during safety stop and I didn't see deco time - it was showing total dive time.

We had an amazing experience with this company. The boat and loading dock were easily accessible, which was a relief since we've had trouble with other companies in the past. The dive boat we went on was small, with only two other divers, which made it feel super intimate. We received a lot of help from the instructor, and of course, we couldn't forget the sweet, fresh-cut pineapple. The tiger wreck dive was beautiful and incredibly interesting. Our instructor, Ed, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and entertaining. However a quick note, our dive did end 30 mins early for whatever reason.

Had a great time! Ed, my dad Master was fantastic. The wreck dives were awesome. Saw many turtles dolphins a huge moray... fantastic trip thank you Hawaiian diving adventures!

Turtle swam right up to us

Spent 3 days diving with Hawaiian Diving Adventures and cannot recommend them enough! Caleb, Josiah and Callum were excellent Dive Masters and made sure we had amazing dives. Safety was a top priority and so was the experience we had. We saw so many amazing things under the water and can't wait to come back! Another big thanks to Captain D for driving The Beach so well! We saw turtles, dolphins, eels, Eagle Rays, and so much more! Book your next dive with them and you won't be sorry!

My son and I found this business via a Google search. My son chose the shallow reef dive excursion. The scuba diving guide was very courteous and professional. My son had fantastic time as he saw numerous marine life where handling an octopus and sighting a turtle were the highlights. I highly recommend this company.

Just finished 6 dives with Hawaiian diving adventures. Dove on the YO-257 and the Sea Tiger along with multiple reefs. All were great. I showed up one morning, set up my gear and found my computer wouldn't turn on. Ed went above and beyond getting me switched to a different day and bringing gear for me to use on that day. I can't thank him enough for that. The crew, boat and dive masters were all great.

My partner loves turtles, which is why we were so eager to find a memorable experience during our next trip. We found the Living Ocean Tours Turtle Canyon experience through Viator and paid about $80/person which we felt was incredibly reasonable. We saw prior reviews stating that the best time to go is early morning, so we decided to take the first boat out. This was honestly a pro tip as we were not only one of three small groups on the boat, but were also the first boat out to the canyon making the experience feel intimate and memorable! We met the amazing crew who were so knowledgable, friendly, and safety-savvy. The ride itself took about 15 minutes each way. Once we arrived, we felt totally confident swimming out with the provided snorkels, life jackets, and flippers after completing the safety lecture. The crew also emphasized protection of wildlife, instructing us to do our very best to stay 10 ft away or more from the turtles. At times, the turtles would come close to us without our knowledge, so we were also instructed on how to gently swim away when this occurred to maintain safe distance. We spent about an hour and a half total in the water, which was more than enough time to see loads of turtles. When it was time to return, we enjoyed complimentary snacks and drinks on the boat. Thank you Living Ocean Tours for providing us with the experience of a lifetime! We would recommend Living Ocean Tours to friends, family, or anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and immersive turtle viewing experience!

I brought my own wetsuit, but used their fins since i only have shore break kicks and long blades at home. The boat has two restrooms on board and a covered section with a cooler and snacks. The crew went over the safety breifing and game plan before leaving the dock. There were about 8-10 discover scuba diver, and 3 of us who were certified. The first location was Kewalo pipe and the second turtle canyon, both a short boat ride on the south shore. I had SO MUCH FUN! I hardly write reviews but their considerate and meticulous service made for an unforgettable experience. Many companies offer discover scuba lessons in Oahu so I called a few to understand the itinerary before making a decision. I spoke with Toby, he welcomed all questions and gave an honest glimpse of what the experience would be. He was also courteous enough to let me know that they might reschedule our reservation in case they don't have enough people to meet a minimum for the boat. This did happen but the company let me know this promptly well in advance and even followed up to remind me about completing e-learnings etc. Fast forward to the day of the scuba and my mother & I met with Toby and the captain on Diamond T II, their boat along ala moana. The captain did a quick lay down of the safety instructions and Toby walked us through the nuts and bolts of diving - key skills, sign language, etc. The crew split us into parties of two each. The sea was a little choppy and I was feeling a little sea sick so I asked the cap if I go jump in the water till the first pair finished their training and dive and he even gave me snorkeling gear!! This was a great way to kill time and also get a preview of the dive ahead. The cap also encouraged my mother to join me and despite her fear of water, she felt at ease in doing so. This half an hour was unexpectedly enjoyable as we were able to interact with some marine life and my mother felt more comfortable being in water. We then got into our gear, which was labeled, super clean and hygienic, and proceeded to do our training session with Toby in the water. This was the highlight of our experience as jumping in a water can be pretty daunting with heavy gear, especially if you run into tricky problems like water in the mask or your regulator. Despite my mother running into these frequently, Toby was incredibly patient and relentlessly made an effort to do her skill training without rushing her. Unfortunately, she was feeling pretty sea sick and also tired by her time in the water so she decided to pause but Toby and I carried on into the water. We spent a serious amount of time close to the ocean bed, Toby was alert yet let me free roam in the water so I gained some confidence too. I was surprised by how clear the water was and we saw plenty of fish, it was magical. On returning, I found out that my mother got sick on the boat so the cap helped her with a pair of goggles, some jelly, and light humor to alleviate her motion sickness. The crew was highly aware of most passengers feeling sick so they expedited our return to the waterfront. I fail to see how this experience could've been more enjoyable and how this crew could've been more considerate to first time divers. Thank you so much for this!!

At the end of this month, I am traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii with my wife and five-year-old daughter for vacation. I reached out to "Aloha Scuba Diving Company" (www.divealohascuba.com) a PADI 5-star IDC, inquiring about their dives. We exchanged about 10 emails, where they offered me to do a Wreck Certification. In those emails, we went over the dates, time requirement per day, dives, and cost, among other details. After a lot of negotiation with my family, they allowed me to step away from our time together, to go diving for a couple days. Based on the information Aloha Scuba Diving Company provided in those emails, I coordinated with my wife and scheduled the rest of our vacation (booking activities with my family, rather than going scuba diving by myself). After booking the rest of the activities in our vacation, I emailed Aloha Scuba Diving Company and they asked me to call the shop to make the payment and confirm the booking. Yesterday, I called the shop, and they took my credit card to confirm the booking. After the call, I received emails confirming the booking and notifications from the credit card company confirming the charge. The first thing that happened was that they overcharged my credit card compared to the price they quoted me on the emails (even when during the call I pointed to the specific email with the price they had quoted). I called back and they offered to do a refund for the difference. A few minutes later, the same person I spoke to called me, and told me that all the information that was given to me in our email correspondence was wrong. He told me that there was "some miscommunication" and that the certification required more days, more dives, and that they would need to increase the cost they had quoted. I told them that I had booked my whole vacation around the information they had provided and that they should honor what they told me. The person on the phone said he would talk to the dive shop owner and let me know. After we finished that call, within 2-3 minutes, I received emails cancelling my booked course. I immediately called the shop again to find out what was happening, but they just did not take my calls. I followed up with an email asking for an explanation, but they did not reply (again, all this within minutes of them taking my credit card, confirming the booking and calling me trying to charge more). In all my years of diving, doing so in multiple countries, I had never faced this situation. They clearly do not understand the commitment (cost and time) that going diving requires for a diver traveling with his/her family where they do not dive. I am taking precious time I could spend with my wife and five-year-old daughter, creating memories, for the diving certification. I also planned and booked all other activities around the information they had provided by email. When things are written, there is no room for "miscommunications." The fact that they tried to overcharge me (even when over the phone I pointed to the email where they quoted the price", and after catching their intention to overcharge, they started coming up with these additional days, additional time, additional dive, and additional cost required, is absolutely unacceptable, a deceptive practice (bait-and-switch), and disrespectful to someone that is booking a whole vacation around this activity. I always book my diving with shops that are listed in the PADI site because it gives me the peace of mind and certainty that they are established dive shops that abide to PADI's Quality Management Practices, Safety Guidance, and involving qualified personnel. This is the first time in all these years, and diving in multiple countries, that I find myself in this situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid Aloha Scuba Diving Company at all costs.

On top of that, they did not refund my payment. If you don't want your vacation to be ruined, book with someone else. Now, thy are arguing that they will not process a refund because the cancellation was the night before. I completed all the forms they required and had plenty of time to review them. However, they decided to wait until the night before to review it and cancel the dive. Because they took until the night before to do so, now they conveniently say the cancellation was before 24 hours of the reservation. Why did they not review this before? I have more than 50 dives logged in different countries. I know what the physical requirements are to have a safe dive (my own safety always comes first). They cancelled because I had a minor surgery (they didn't even asked what kind) 8 months ago. The operator called at 7pm the night before with this concern and offered that his wife (who happens to be a doctor), could clear his concerns. I asked about the cost and he quoted $200-250 for the "consultation". They were just clearly looking for an excuse to cancel at the last minute and keep the payment.
