Probably one of my favorite mall clothing stores. Love HIC tshirts. When it comes to local wear, this clothing brand is my favorite.

Err I didn't actually needed to use the advice but that's good to know. They also sanitized everything so the items were really clean. She was really considerate and suggested that we do a fitting first. The flipper straps are actually adjustable so I didn't see an issue. We rented it for one day and the lady said we could just drop it off in the yard if we came back after hours. The whole experience was a breeze and I felt that she really tried to see what a customer's concerns may be and addressed them without my having to ask! I was also semi-interested in a glass ring and she explained how it came from and such. Just very attentive, responsive, and pleasant. The location is really convenient, easy to spot and park.

I didn't know anything about what I needed so I asked for help…read more Tiffany found a pair of fins that fit me and handed me a bag with a snorkel and mask in it. She never suggested I do a fitting in the store, or suggested that the mask may not seal around my moustache. She asked how long I needed the rental. I asked if they do it for 24 hours or only by the day, and she said by the day. I asked how late they would be open and she said they closed at 5. I said I would be out after 5, so it sounded like I would need a 2 day rental. After she charged my card for a 2 day rental, THEN she mentioned that if I wanted to return the gear after 5 I could just drop it on the back porch. This would have been exactly the thing she should have told me when I was asking what time they closed BEFORE I had committed to 2 days. I only needed 1 day and she sneakily got me to sign up for 2. When I went out to snorkel that day, the mask was dirty and I could not get the mask to seal around my moustache, so water kept rushing in. I gave it a try but I just couldn't snorkel like that. By the time I gave up, it was after 5pm, so I knew the shop would be closed and I couldn't call or go in person that night in order to ask for a refund. When I returned the next morning. Tiffany was not working. The woman working called Tiffany on the phone when I explained the problem, but would not let me talk to her. Instead she just said "it's not company policy to issue refunds" and brushed me off. After complaining again I was given Tiffany's phone number to deal with her directly. I called and she did not pick up. I left a message and she did not return it. I guess she is too busy running for city council to care about how people perceive her business. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who is not an expert. Know exactly what you are getting and ask about every single rule before you give them any of your money. They will not try to help you. They just want your money.

I'm originally from O'ahu and was excited to see Alohiwais sign when my sister and I were walking…read moredown the row of stores. We decided to go in to check it out since their sign still said open. Mind you, I always go to Ho'omau Market and always buy stuff from their booth back home on O'ahu. I also just wanted to say that I sometimes see the owners at Ho'omau and they're SO nice and so inviting, girls working there are also very nice. But this one girl today, omg. So there were two girls on 6/9/26 at a couple of minutes before 4. One of the two girls were okay, but the other... let me tell you. I picked something up to try on because I have had my eye on this style of dress online for the longest time and was excited to see it in person. I was going wait for them to come to O'ahu but thought since I'm on vacation, I thought maybe I wouldn't have to wait to get it. Alohiwai is actually one of the first stores I always choose being a VIP at Ho'omau. I was in the dressing room trying on the one dress I took in, LOVED it, decided I was going to make a last minute purchase, and was almost about to come out, when I hear the other girl of the two say, "hey.. so we close at 4 and it's 4:04. So you kinda need to wrap it up" I didn't say anything because I was actually taken aback. I didn't get to see what she looked like, but my sister did. This girl worker, btw, was wearing an off the shoulder white top with curly hair and has tattoos on her shoulders 6/9/26 @ 4:04pm (& yes, I know the exact time to the minute since this worker was in a rush to get home). This worker lacked SO much professional ediquette. In the moment, I was in shock to have been talked to that way from a brand I actually REALLY loved and wanted to go back inside the store, but thought writing a review would be better. (couldn't if I wanted to because they were 4 minutes past closing time) Overall, I'm disappointed and just thought that that first experience IN STORE was a sour one. I ended up not buying anything in store because I felt rushed with the store being closed for 4 minutes. The unprofessional worker was assisting another customer and was being so helpful and professional with her, so maybe she took out her frustrations of wanting to go home right at 4:00pm on the dot with me? Not sure. But I took my business down to all the other stores down the row with better customer service. This experience was so negative for me that I'm questioning taking my business for Ho'omau this weekend when I get back home to O'ahu. Always love shopping at their booth, but for sure NEVER coming back to their home location.
