My downspouts front and back all looked like fountains with every rain, and it was obvious the drains were not working properly. The water was all dumping next to the house foundation...not good and can be a huge problem if not resolved. The crew rectified the problem by digging 6" trenches and adding pipes and pop up drains where necessary as well as removing 2 large bushes that were a part of the drainage problem. A fantastic and very professional job. I would highly recommend them if you have drainage issues. They will come out, review the landscape and offer solutions and furnish an estimate. The house I choose, the previous owners had updated everything except the master en suite. Which was actually a win for me, because I got to do it my way. Choosing the company to do my remodel was a no brainer. Encore had done work for me years ago when I had to put a walk-in shower in my moms house and they've done two bathrooms for a cousin who also lives in the area. So I was familiar with their work and I'll tell you now, they did not disappoint. When I lived in STL, I did a new bathroom in the house I sold to move to Godfrey. Working with a top design company in STL and dealing with a small town remodeling business are two different experiences. In STL, everything was done by computer and in Godfrey it was done old school, it was all hand written. I had computer enhanced drawings in STL and in my new small town, I had to visually create it in my own head. When it came to cost, I liked the small town price. Same amount of work done and not having all the fancy computer stuff, I saved big time. Michael was my salesman/designer and he was great. I went in with my wish list of features I wanted in my new en suite. Once in the showroom, I pointed out what I liked and also shared with him, what I liked in the bathrooms he had done for my cousin. Michael took my ideas, tweaked them a little and presto, I had the en suite of my dreams. During the construction, the team was punctual every morning and their attention to details and daily clean-up was impressive. They tore out my old bathroom and it was not the demo you see on HGTV. The demos on HGTV are dramatic. The only time my demo came close to those on HGTV was when they had to break up the old pink tub to get it out of my house. My new en suite has a walk in shower with a rain shower and a traditional hand shower, too. At the rear of the shower stall, I have a cedar bench that folds up against the wall and I have a nook cut to corral my "beauty stuff". Best of all, my barn door style doors slide both ways and are clear glass to add depth to the small bathroom. The vanity counter was custom built to fit between two wall and they used another locally owned company. The hand made details really made a difference. When installation day arrived, I received helpful notifications letting me know exactly when the team would show up. Zach White and Logan Mossman arrived right on time, and both of them were so polite and thoughtful. They slipped on boot covers the moment they walked in and took the time to really listen to what I wanted. I asked that the HALO ION-6 be installed on the main line so the whole house would benefit, and they understood immediately why that mattered. They also worked with me on how the gas line should be routed, and they handled every detail exactly as I requested. Their workmanship was truly impressive--clean, tidy, and so well-organized. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Horrible experience. Had a toilet leak that leaked into our kitchen. Thomas arrived and was very…read morepolite. He took a picture of the hole in the ceiling then a picture of the toilet upstairs. He told my husband it would be $360 to remove the toilet to see what was wrong. My husband specifically asked ok so if you remove the toilet do nothing and put it back it will be $360. Thomas said yes. He said if he had to replace the flange it would be a little over $900. My husband asked him to leave. The "service" call included no service. He only took 2 pictures and did nothing else. The service call was $70. So we basically paid for him to ring the door bell and take pictures. No diagnostics done. I called the company and the manager called me and said he wanted a mutual resolution. He offered nothing but an explanation of how much his truck cost and his overhead which is why we had to pay the "service" fee even though they did absolutely nothing but take pictures. He must have "explained" his overhead to me 5 times and thought what his plumber did was acceptable. Called a different plumber. He came out and fixed the problem in 30 minutes for $175 all included. Under no circumstances would I use this company. They are not honest and definitely over charge. BEWARE
