I needed a custom breakfast nook built in our condo to accommodate the needs of our growing family. I shopped around a LOT and got a wide range of estimates, ideas and time frames, none of which suited our budget or needs. (Not to mention, very few contractors had examples of their work to look over.) Fortunately, I stumbled upon TrimLogic and was impressed with the pictures posted and his reviews. Craig replied to my inquiry immediately and was able to provide a reasonable estimate (especially considering the level of his work). I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and he was able to work with my design and improve it! He added the little details that really made this piece shine like matching the moulding, add little extras, installing soft shut hinges and appropriate finishes. He convinced me to stain the bench top to match my cabinets and leave the base and wainscotting white. What a brilliant idea! The bench visually flows into my kitchen cabinets without overwhelming the area with all white or all wood. He thought of all the things that I didn't even know I should be concerned about. Craig was a very respectful of my family and home during the installation process. The majority of the bench build and painting/staining occurred offsite. This meant less mess, noise and smell in my house. Craig arrived on time (or would text me if running late) and he always cleaned up every day! He was conscious to protect our walls, hardwood floor and even the outdoor area where he worked. He even worked around my toddler's nap schedule and kept the noise to a minimum during that time. I don't need to sit here and describe the quality and beauty of his work. You can see & read this for yourself in the pictures and reviews on Yelp, Facebook and his website. I really appreciated his communication promptness; he always responded to me immediately. Also, he managed his time and budget extremely well. He gave us an installation date (and length of time) and did not run over nor did he underestimate his budget. In addition, the walls and floor were expertly tiled. Our house is a hundred years old so everything took an extra effort. RCC organized the demolition, construction and refinishing, ensuring the remodel was completed on time and within budget. Because close attention was paid to details, the end result was perfect and beautiful. We cannot say enough about RCC's professionalism; everyone was always on time and showed up when they said they would. We hired Revive Works Remodeling to replace a beautiful second story balcony railing that had dry…read morerotted out. The previous design caused the balcony railing to dry rot the underlying structure. They designed an entirely new method of attaching the railing that would withstand weight and would not deteriorate under the rainy conditions of Oregon. They ended up needing to rebuild the entire upper balcony. It is now beautiful, strong and we are very happy with the result. Revive Works Remodeling did an excellent job at an excellent price. Pre-purchase inspection had shown the house would benefit from some structural and cosmetic work, principally due to its age, and the normal deterioration any wood structure is subject to. Alan Pierce thought through his bid carefully, and gave me clear advice, telling me what could and could not--realistically--be accomplished. This was accompanied by a fixed bid in writing. Payment was made in three parts, the final payment being made only when all work had been fully completed to my satisfaction. We went over the bid by just $400, a choice I made to do some additional strengthening work in one area. Alan and his team always arrived promptly, usually at 9am, and worked until 5pm, Monday - Friday. They worked to keep the property as clean as possible, and I was impressed that they followed proper Oregon DEQ safety practices. The project took about three weeks to complete. I was able to see first-hand the work Alan's crew performed, and felt that without exception they were excellent craftsmen who did careful and precise work. Alan also took before and after photos of all the work completed. Overall, I would unhesitatingly recommend Alan and his company Revive Works for residential remodeling. Both as individuals and as an organization, I found them knowledgeable, easy to work with and highly proficient. In a word, they were trustworthy, something which cannot be said of all companies operating in this field.

Bill was really responsive thru email and text and I never felt unaware of the project's next steps. It was also very clear what design elements I was responsible for and what I could trust him to pick out or supply. His partner Pam offered assistance and wisdom in this area too! (And to be clear, nothing proceeded without my approval.) Bill coordinated everything so effectively. When gathering bids I really liked that he highlights that he has a longterm relationship -- ie 20+ years in some cases -- with many of his subcontractors. It shows; they were all reliable as well. While I hope not to have to redo another kitchen any time soon, I will be keeping Bill/Garden Home in mind for other house renovation projects. We've been in our finished kitchen now for about 6 months and I'm still so happy with the update. We are spending an infinitely more amount of time in it the enjoying it as a family space that was inaccessible before.
