I bot a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado from Hazel Dell on a Friday and completed all the paperwork for delivery. On Monday I got a call from someone at Hazel Dell who said the car had been sold to someone else. I never got my paperwork back and I have called and emailed them to no response. They continue to advertise the car on Carsforsale. They are a scammer and do not do business with them. read more

No response from THREE attempts to inquire about a car. They had a car i wanted to buy and so i used their email form and sent an inquiry. I got an autoreply inviting me to come in and look at what they have. I never got a real answer. Weeks later i tried again and only got the autoreply, still never got a real answer. I eventually sent a third inquiry asking about the same car, and again only got an autoreply. I have since bought myself a truck so i don't still want their neon highline, which i am pretty sure they don't actually have anymore. From reading other reviews it is probably best that i didn't buy from them. So perhaps it was all for the best that they don't bother replying to emails sent from the contact form on their website. read more

Upon arrival, I wasn't really greeted by anyone. I already knew which vehicle I wanted so I went to go look at it. Curtis was there and asked if I needed help. I told him I was interested in purchasing this vehicle. He pointed me to John who was very welcoming. We took the vehicle out on a test drive and I decided I wanted it. I traded my vehicle in for $500 hoping I would get out at least $1000. Regardless If I was taking home a different vehicle I wasn't gonna need my old one so I accepted. John and Curtis were very willing to work with me as I already had a big loan else where and needed to bring a missing $200 the next day. Overall my experience with Hazel Dell Motors so far hasn't been bad. It seems like Curtis and John really care for their business and their customers. read more

Rachel is a scam artist. she took advantage of me knowing I had little experience buying a car. she talked a big game, got me all excited to "fix my credit" then sold me junk. I bought a car for 5k and put 2.5k for a "down payment" to my surprise when I went to pay my first payment the loan said I still owed 6,250??? I called to ask what the hell I paid 2,500 for and why the loan said I owned more than that she told me I paid for the "warranty/service contract" well fast forward I called to see what that contract entails(because it didn't run after a week) and was told I didn't have one????? so she stole 2,500 from me!!! she rushed me through paperwork because I had my small child with me while also pregnant and just getting off of a 10 hour work day. scam artist with a fat attitude!!!! The couple that run this lot were fantastic to work with. I accompanied my girlfriend as she was looking to make her first car purchase, and I just wanted to make sure that she didn't get into anything that seemed sketchy. But the owners took care of her politely and never tried to sell her something she didn't want. The car we got was pushing 30 years old, and as such it did have a few hiccups but we worked with them until all of the issues were under control. We also did a little bit of shopping around online and couldn't find anywhere else with a vehicle she loved as much as the one she got here. I accompanied my partner to the lot for 2 reasons today. He was prepared to buy the 2004 Subaru Legacy and I was going to drive his car home. I was also going to make an offer on the Red Infinity! The "gentleman" with the Harley was not amenably to the less than confrontational discussion about the Blue Book pricing on the Subaru. Never and I seriously mean NEVER step foot here. The worst decision I've ever made. Keep in mind that all the issues with the vehicle that you are about to read all happened in ONE AND A HALF MONTHS, which is the time the car actually worked for, ended up having the car in my possession for just a bit over 3 months until I surrendered it and it took the owner over a month to come pick it up! Which leads me to another important reason I'm doing this review, if you see a RED 1999 CHRYSLER 300M on their lot DO NOT BUY IT, here's my story. Bought what seemed to be a very nice car from them. Test drove great! I took it home, and after a bit took it down the road to get a carwash. After not even two hours of having this car, it overheats. Coolant steaming and boiling over, exploded everywhere. I called them and they took a look at it the next day. The sales man, Kevin did a test for a blown head, came back negative but they put it in the shop at no cost to me. Got the car back a few days later, drove it to breakfast, then drove to get gas and guess what? It overheated at the gas station! I called again and demanded my $1000 down payment back to only be told all they will do is put it back in the shop. I felt like I had no choice they wouldn't budge, so I let them try it with the shop one more time. Got it back the next day and it didn't overheat again. (until much later but we're getting there) So I drive the car normally for about a week, then a few days later at 6am I go to start the car to get my boyfriend from work and the car won't turn over. I thought maybe it was too cold, so later in the day I tried again. Still no turning over. So I get it jump started and it fired up. Figured it was an old battery. So I replace it. All is well for two weeks, then again SAME ISSUE. No turning over. Will only start if jumped. So I end up buying a jump box to make my life easier. Now the car dies if left over night. So every day I have to jump it. On Easter of all days, my boyfriend and I were driving home on the freeway, and I look down at my dash and what do you know.. the car is OVERHEATING AGAIN. We take the exit and get into the winco parking lot and it's the exact same scenario as when we got the car. Coolant boiling and exploded everywhere. My thinking is that the mechanic shop put some stop leak in to seal up what they claimed to be an "intake manifold gasket". Because when we got the car from the mechanic the main person hid behind in the shop and sent someone out to give us the keys and just said "here you go!" No explanation on anything that was wrong or why we had to take it back. There is no doubt in my mind that they just bandaid fixed it with stop leak. I got my own people to look at the car and everyone agrees it a blown head, or the thermostat. So after draining my savings, giving them $100 every two weeks, and dumping about $600 of my own money in repairs, and I decided I no longer wanted to pay for this piece of $h!t to sit in my front yard, when it keeps overheating, stalling, and dying every night. I'd rather just not have a car. So I surrendered it, and it took the owner a month to finally come get it, as I mentioned before. That was only a few days ago, and I fully expect that car to be back on his lot if not now then in the coming weeks. They may fix the overheating issue, or do more stop leak, but also there's the power draw issue which I had my mechanic look at and say it had to do with the control module which is a super expensive fix, so if someone were to get this car, even if they fix the overheating, you'll eventually wake up to a dead car every morning. Again it's a RED 1999 CHRYSLER 300M Please, if you can, just go to a reputable dealer. Don't let them fool you and sell you their junk. Ron, the owner even admitted himself he "knows nothing about cars" how are you in business for 25 years and know nothing. All he wants is money, and he'll scam anyone to get it. Plus after purchasing from here, I've heard far too many similar stories to mine. I don't want to see anyone go through what I had to. Just beware. read more

NEVER BUY FROM HERE. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SINGLE MOMS, AND STEAL THEIR MONEY! I bought a car here when I was 8months pregnant. I road the bus and had all my savings with me I was definitely buying a car. The sales man was so rude he kept dismissing me and asking me personal questions about why a hot lil thing like me would be wondering around a car lot all alone. I finally asked for a manager and they sent out the super car salesmen who was trying to put me into a car with 2 doors that 3 guys couldn't start. I should of walked away but I had to get a car it was November. I final found one that would run bought it, got like 10mins down the road and smoke came out from the hood and it slowly came to a stop. I had to replace the transmission and the alternator. So I limped it back and said unwind this deal or give me something else I need to at lease be able to get through the winter with this car. They refused to unwind the deal, and showed me another 2 door, it was stripped on the inside but the only thing that seemed to run. I drove it for about 10 days tried to drive up to Seattle and it totally blew up. When I decided to just forget it, and buy a car somewhere else. First night with my new car in my new place only place that had my address was HAZELDELL MOTORS and guess what... my tires were slashed!!! If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 100 stars I would. So rude, crappy cars, and sexist pigs. Just wanna grope there customers. UGH NO THANKS. read more
