You were…read moreso abundantly disrespectful, incompetent, and unable to take simple, calm, valuable feedback about a specific phone related issue you were having (that your co-worker was *not*, this is a *you* issue...) and even gave you the opportunity to let me speak to your manager whom you said would call me within the hour. Spoiler, he did not, and I haven't heard from anyone since. Hence leaving the review I told you I would be leaving. Let's get into it: My vehicle was due for it's first routine maintenance visit, and since I purchased the vehicle at Dick Hannah Honda I figured I'd bring it here and ask how much it would be given I'm moving pretty close to the dealership. I called the number listed on the sticker on my windshield and asked how much it would cost. Rachel said she didn't know, and that she would need to get me over to Sales to check my Sale date on my vehicle to see if I was under the year mark for my purchase. I said ok, get me over to Sales. Line goes dead. Call back, get Rachel again, tell her the line went dead. She says oh that's weird! Must be our system. And I'm like hmm soo, can we try again? I need to talk to Sales right? She says 'well yea but it's probably just going to hang up on you again.' ...umm. So. You don't have a way to transfer me to the people I need to talk to? How...can I talk to them? "Well, I mean we can try again if you want." Uhh....ok? Line goes dead. Call again. Get another lady (Judy? Jodie? Sorry, it was a J name). Explain I've spoken to Rachel twice and the line hung up twice when she said she'd transfer me to Sales, and Nice-J-Name-Lady says, "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I'll keep you on the line and make sure you get over there ok?" Sure. She puts me on hold, it rings, guy in Sales picks up. Yay...I speak to him, he finds my Sale date. I'm JUST outside the year mark. Rats. No complimentary service for me. Didn't know. Oh well. How much is it gonna be for a normal maintenance check/oil change? He doesn't know. Ok. I also have questions about my mirror. Ok well for that I need Parts. Ok. Can you get me to Parts? Sure. Get guy in Parts. Nice enough dude, helps me out quoting a general price for the mirror. Thanks, ask about the oil? Oh you're gonna need service. Excellent. Awesome. Beg him please don't transfer me back there Rachel has hung up on the line twice and if I have to call back a fourth time and talk to a 6th person my brain is going to crumble to dust, I'm in the middle of a move and my light came on and I'll be doing a lot of driving and I just want some simple answers please. He's sorry, but I need to talk to service. Lo and behold, I get Rachel again. Let her know I spoke to Sales and I'm outside the year window and it's gonna cost me, so how much? She gives me a price. I ask about days and times to come in. Well, express and appointments are different. I wait. Ok, can you tell me how? Is one better than the other? I'm really busy and I have a dynamic disability and I want to wait the least amount of time, Express sounds good right? Well it's first come first served. Ok, is that good? Do they get priority over people with appts? Or...do people with appts get priority over express. She doesn't know. Ok. Is there a better day and time y'all tend to be less busy that I can aim for to bring it in? She says she can't say/doesn't know. Well that's just special isn't it. She says it's simply not possible. AGAIN, very funny to me, bc everywhere else I've called to get a quote *does in fact have a day/time* that is generally better or recommended. At this point I say you know what ok cool, I need to go at this point, but before I do, I want to advise you that your system worked just fine for your co-worker who was able to successfully transfer me to Sales without hanging up on me. She didn't care. Well hers does. Umm. Ok. So your plan is just to continue to hang up on your customers, and blame it on your 'system' ? She's becomes extremely defensive, wildly terse, and borderline snotty I think is the best word for it. I never once raised my voice, I was very kind, very polite, simply told her I wanted her to know it does in fact work and she should ask her co-worker how to do it so she stops hanging up on customers. She had 0 cares. None. Negative customer service points up the wahzoo. This woman gave 0 effs. After trying to de-escalate and calm her down and get her to a point she can listen and know I'm not attacking her I'm simply trying to help, she snaps that she just wants me to speak to a manager. Fine. That's totally fine. If you are incapable of speaking calmly to a customer at this point, hand it over. I ask for their name. Alex. Ok, does Alex have a last name? Bassett. Cool. When should I expect a call? Within the hour. Great. Thanks. Never got a call. Told her I'd be leaving a review if I didn't get a call so here we are. Too bad so sad.

I ended up selling to a third party and they were super helpful in letting me get that figured out and being very understanding! They had two hours to tell me the car wasn't ready. No one contacted me. I took time off work, drove 30 minutes from Portland, and arrived to find the salesperson I was supposed to meet (Keenan) was helping someone else and never notified me. Then I was told the car couldn't be shown because of a warning light they already knew about. Zero communication. Zero professionalism. They wasted my time, gas, and money. The sales manager also told my partner and me that they "inspect cars to make sure they're safe," but they will still sell them even if there are known mechanical issues. They also refuse third‑party pre‑purchase inspections. When I said that's a huge risk, she said, "Yes, we sell as‑is." After reading other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. I won't be back.

The people at Dick Hannah VW in Vancouver, Wa completely turned that around. The service department has been nothing but straight up the whole time and they really went the extra mile to make sure I had all the information I would need to make an informed choice. The technicians there are top notch and even though I live much further away from them, I'll still take my new car to see Vlad to get serviced. Nick and the sales team took a bad situation where I was stuck with a lemon and got me in a new car. The process was easy and they did everything they could to help. Faith in VW restored.

True to the motto the people I met there were nice. And I do like the car that I bought and know I got a good deal considering its upgrades. Most disappointing and somewhat unforgivable thing, however, is that the previous owner of the car is still registered as the primary user and I have been unable to remove their account, uninstall their preferences, or update the car even to the current time zone. (The "clean swipe" should have been part of the thorough 100-point inspection process so it makes me wonder what else was missed...) I am having to make a second trip back to the dealer to get the car serviced and fully transferred over to me. (Good thing I'm not buying gas anymore LOL.) I get that I am driving a computer on wheels but a hard reset seems like one of the easiest things to do for your customers before you send them home with a new-to-them vehicle. I will think about updating this review once everything's been taken care of.

But holy cow, they epitomize the scam of bringing you in on price…read moreand internet fluff, then using a nonchalantness that they were definitely taught in their sales training, to spring those extra charges on you once you're there and in the heat of the moment.. God it was so transparent, it was hilarious. For me it was this unbelievable, space age diamond ceramic coating,l. Like it can only be gotten if you know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone producing it in that secret lab that makes it so expensive. What a crock. $2000 extra they never told you about will get you this incredible coating. Been using ceramics since they were first pioneered. It is a game changing product, but it is not rocket science that requires some wizard. If you don't require much paint correction, get a Diamond Protech kit, or Adams Graphene kit, and follow each step. It will shock you how it is easier than wax to apply. And does lie down an incredible layer of protection that will last for years...for under, or a little more than $100. And not that much work. After application, you can often simply rinse your car off, or dust it, then wipe it down with the refresh and you will never need to do anything again. $2,000, then they messaged me back, they're going to be so nice that they won't charge me for it AND sell it to me for the price they advertise...now that I called BS on them. That lost them even more credibility.

I had reached out online to see if the car was available, and got no response (should have been red flag #1). Dodge/Stellantis is having to heavily discount this model, and Hannah has a few of the 2024 R/T higher end models just collecting dust. Seems like a good time to make a deal. The young sales guy came out and was very personable, but the positives stop there. The car clearly had not been driven or serviced recently (think spiderwebs on the mirrors and fully dead battery). My wife loved the car, but the vibe was weird and got worse once inside to chat about total price. They brought out a quote that started with a nearly $6k warranty added. Red flag #2. Ok, they want to make money but it's a $38k car (down from the 52k MSRP which is a joke) and my Audi didn't have that high of an added warranty. We asked them to price match Tacoma which was a few thousand less. They did not and wouldn't give us a counter offer (red flag #3). We did hear they're losing too much on the car already, but that's not my problem. It's almost as if they'd rather not sell the car, which was probably for the best. We sent a text to Tacoma Dodge (115 miles away). They had the paperwork ready to go within hours and we drove to Tacoma. We now have a brand new Hornet for a great deal, and got basically the same extra warranty for less than half of what this place quoted without us asking. What a waste of time. I won't go back to a Dick Hannah, not even for service. I'd rather literally drive further never to go here again. I added a star as the horrible experience led us to a much better deal, even with the 5 hour round trip.

We were looking to trade in our 2024 KIA NIRO . Dick Hanna's online website made it so simple to search their available in stock KIA models, their individual features, and no hassle up front pricing. We even discovered a end of month special discount which we submitted right online. That saved us around $2,000 off the MSRP, and they gave me another $500 discount as a military Veteran! At the time of our appointment at the Dick Hanna dealership, we were greeted by the friendly Internet Car Sales Specialist Brian Orellana who then introduced my wife and I to another friendly KIA Sales & Leasing Specialist "Muzafar "Mozzy" Mursalov . He was very personable, and knowledgeable about the 2026 KIA Sportage Prestige model we had seen on their website. It had a five star safety rating , AWD, and one of the colors we were looking for! The Dick Hannah website is also integrated with the Kelly Blue Book site so we were able to get a "certified" estimate offer for our used car as a trade in. Their Finance Manager Marc Allen was also helpful and friendly in completing the final deal! One of the best customer service experiences we have ever had in trading in/buying a new car!
