I have bren coming here for several years, i transferred to the company to follow a very loved…read morenurse practioner Charmin Soberg. Recently she left for another company. I was left trying to decide if i would follow, like i have for 5 years. Since becoming disabled with cronic tarsal tunnel symdrome and crps( complex regional pain syndrome) i have struggled bigtime dealing with this condition. At times it truely takes me to the dark side the pain level is so bad. Recently i had a cortizone shot done in my left hand and met the owner Dr Frandrup. To meet someone that has the same cronic issues as me, the same areas, overwhelmed me. Unless you have cronic pain you will never understand how huge this was. I love my Charmin but decided to stay because of Dr Frandrup and of couse all his staff . I know my condition will never go away but having a doctor that deals with what i deal with is huge for my mental state.. Look past all the negitive reviews here. Follow the rules or you will get the boot and no one is to blame but the person breaking the rules!!!

I am a disabled vet, and use the Aurora, CO location because of the doctor that runs the clinic. I…read moresubmitted for approval to be seen at Alpria, and it took over 4 months for the clinic to get back with me to schedule an appointment. Upon scheduling the appointment, I was called back the same afternoon, informing me that my appointment needed to be moved because of snow that is forecasted. I was told that my appointment would be moved to the next available slot, some 3 hours later. Nevermind that once someone gives me a scheduled appointment time, a couple of things need to happen. 1. I have to schedule the time off of work, because like the vast majority of Americans, I have to work in order to survive. 2. I then move other appointments around so that I can accomodate this new appointment. When an appointment is rescheduled, I then have to go back and redo things all over again, and feel like an idiot having to change the time that I schedule off of work. All of this is bad enough, but when the very next day I am contacted to reschedule my appointment again, I have to draw the line. If patients cannot be accomodated, and expect to be seen when they are told they will be, then something needs to change. The receptionists hung up on me twice, and were giggling in the background while I was explaining my frustrations with them. Today, I am a feeling astonished. I have always spoke highly of this clinic, and today I was given a clear picture of what unprofessionalism looks like. As I mentioned before, I have never recieved anything less than stellar service from this location before. It appears that they have some new staff members, and it is a shame to see this clinic become what it has.

My daughter, D has been struggling with Ketamine addiction for years. After careful research, we…read morechose Cedar because they had decent reviews, were affiliated with the hospital, and also addressed process addictions like the cell phone. Unfortunately her therapist, Shannon, didn't understand Ketamine addiction or even how to help our daughter at all. Instead, Shannon O. belittled D, was very punitive, often taking away her 'tech time' because D brought coffee to a friend, or something else tiny. Even when D was opening up about her adoption and other (overdue) personal things that may have contributed to unhealthy choices, Shannon delayed giving her approved items we brought (shampoo, shorts) and discharged her four days early. In her own words, therapist Shannon literally asked our daughter if she needed to be there. Indeed the other residents and staff were shocked as our daughter had been attending meetings, getting along with all residents and was very much loved by the others. Shannon O. doesn't really care about peoples wellness. It seems Cedar only wants to get the residents on medication and into the affiliated sober houses at discharge.

The supervisor, Kevin, made the admission process a little less painful due to his gentle nature and compassion. I appreciated Kevins knowledge and experience within the complexities of co occurring morbidities. His ability to gather and communicate the necessary items for admission authorization was a true Godsend. I am looking forward to seeing my child return to a healthy happy path.

I for one don't understand how anyone would have a bad time here. It's perfect through and through…read more First you have Michelle greeting you. She is this beautiful beacon of "Welcome!" She's so kind and very attentive to specific details. Then you have Daisy. She always knows the right questions to ask me so the doctor knows just what I'm there for. She too has a great and welcoming spirit about her. Now there's Hannah! Since day one she's seen me as a person. Not just a patient. She hears me and has the knowledge to understand how to help me obtain the best quality of life as possible. Her empathy paired with intelligence makes her a GREAT contribution to my healthy well being. Now on to the mental health side of things, there's Julie. Ugh, this lady. She's the best. Let me tell ya. While I've only met her one time, she has a very familiar something about her. I felt so comfortable, so relaxed, and that I could genuinely be myself with her, that it is going to allow me to make some major breakthroughs on the mental health side of things. I genuinely look forward to seeing her again! And last but not least is the one who helps run the show, Destrie. Everyone speaks so highly of her. From the way she guides her employees to the heart she gives to all of the patients, it makes total sense why everyone is so amazing there. She made me feel so seen from only a couple encounters. I genuinely hope the higher ups from their company sees this and understands just how strong of a leader she is for them. She's not even technically one of the "providers", I think one would say. But she absolutely provides. Her too I hope to see every time I'm there. If you need any kind of help at all, go here. You'll see what I mean!!!

I mentioned it was before 4. She began arguing with my wife and myself until it was 3 minutes before closing. Then we were told they will not see my wife at a minute before 4:00 We stressed that we were there at 3:45 PM. To no avail our continued discussion with her did not work. She ended up saying angrily that we should go to another urgent care. It is my belief that if MedNow isn't going to see you when you come in well before closing, then they should not call themselves an urgent care facility.

While I unfortunately wasn't able to use Sandstone's services, I needed to write this review about…read morethe most recent experience I had with Alyssa Green with the Sandstone Behavioral Health Team. My husband experienced a psychiatric emergency two days ago. While we were in the ER, once everyone calmed down and we were able to speak with a crisis counselor with The Aspen Hope Center, we were discharged to go home and figure out what facility my husband would be able to receive residential treatment at. Sandstone was two of the five covered facilities that we could go to that would be covered through our insurance and that was recommended to us by the team at The Aspen Hope Center. Upon calling to get more info, I learned that the only facility that Sandstone had that offered the program my husband needed had an age cap of 35 and he is 36. Normally I would have expected that to have been the end of the road and that I had another few hours of phone calls ahead of me, but the woman I spoke with sent my information over to Alyssa and she's the reason why I'm writing this review. Alyssa called me not long after I hung up with the admissions team at Sandstone, and she immediately made me feel at ease. After everything I had just been through I was obviously flustered and my brain was very scattered, I didn't even know where to begin as far as who to call, where to look for reviews, what reviews to believe, etc. She then provided me in and out of network options for my husband to go to and after a few days of phone calls/questions I think we've decided on the best possible option for my husband to get the best care he can get. I'm so grateful to the team at Sandstone for providing this type of service for patients that don't qualify for their programs, and even more grateful to Alyssa for her kind compassionate care and help. I was expecting this experience to be an absolute nightmare, and while none of it is easy Alyssa made it feel manageable and helped me figure out where I should start. :o)

** I took a full week after writing this and describing the events described below to cool off,…read morebecause I was THAT upset. I've edited a bit for length, but otherwise nothing has changed in my mind after a week's reflection. ** __________________________________ I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am with this organization. Our family member's insurance company denied payment for treatment here, yet their admissions counselor called me and said that "the leadership has decided we want him to get better, so we're admitting him to the program anyway." We were so relieved I was actually in tears at their kindness and commitment to helping a young person in crisis. How wrong I was. After attending three weeks of the program called PHP (I was told it would be two weeks, BTW), our first family therapy Zoom meeting wasn't therapy at all, and instead they decided to tell us that the insurance has denied the claim (which they knew before they accepted him) and our family member will have to transfer to another program. I am beyond livid. They knew even before he started the program that the insurance wouldn't pay, and yet they allowed our family member to start anyway. Now he has to start with a new program, a new doctor, and a new therapist. This is inexcusable and detrimental to the health of the young adult they once claimed to want to help. (Yes, I know they have to make money to stay in business, but it was their decision to accept him. We didn't twist their arm.) Families who are not familiar with outpatient mental health programs shouldn't be expected to know all the facets of these programs and how they're paid for or structured. Before our family member was admitted, I was given all the details of the program (two weeks of "PHP" five days a week from 12-5, then continue for another 8-10 weeks of three hours a day, three days a week. I understood this to be one complete program, not two, but as they were telling us in our call today, no, it's two separate parts, so everything's just peachy. No, it isn't. They're fortunate that our family member is far less upset about this than I am and believes the new program he'll have to start at another place next week will be helpful, but what I've learned from this is that you really can't count on anyone except yourself to get through something as difficult as depression, because even the professionals may let you down.
