It did not look like any bakery I had ever been to before, but was super excited to walk in and see what they had. The place is not flashy, nor does it look like one of those over the top French bakeries. Bakeries. It is neat and clean, and well organized. Everything is laid out for you to see and everything looked amazing. In St. Croix, if you know this place, you know the Hot ticket are the tarts. Pineapple, coconut, guava, mango, the list goes on and on. Let me put it to you. Way, you would be hard-pressed to not like anything behind the glass case. Bottom line? If you are in the island and you don't go to Gary's bakery, You are truly missing out on a national treasure. Do yourself a favor and go there today!

It was a different take on the traditional pate, it had flaky buttery crust and curry chicken inside Parking is free and their prices are also more economical than other bakeries. In addition, their customer service is amazing...all friendly people! And Christian!! I love seeing businesses who stand for the kingdom of God. One doesn't visit Thomas Bakery for the atmosphere: one goes to purchase baked goods!! On that score, the products on display looked tasty. The guava tartlet I had was nice: good sticky filling in a well-made crust. The raisin bun, however, didn't offer much flavor. I suspect it would benefit from being split open and toasted / grilled with butter. And while I've come to expect uneven customer service here on St Croix, the person who interacted with me seems so stern, so serious. BTW, the prices were great! Very affordable. I will consider going back for more tartlets and to try a few other goodies. It all about the product.

But their pastry selection surpass donuts and they also carry croissants, turnovers, house-made pies and cakes, muffins, along with many other sweet-treats. It had a cinnamon flavor and filled with big chunks of guava fruit and guava jelly. I was completely satisfied and I cannot wait to go back next month to try other things on the menu. They are open nice and early and it's a little red door that can be easy to miss. If you're visiting St. Thomas and looking for a real authentic food experience do not miss out on this place!!! It was a grill slice of angel food cake with apples, and she topped it with homemade caramel and oats. I stopped in later during my stay on the island and had the breakfast jambalaya. The addition of a fried egg and avocado kicked it up several notches. Glad I passed by this cafe and stopped in. Everything was full of flavor, and the cocktails really stood out.
