This spot was very busy during the morning rush. I'm not going to lie the wrap was not the best. The eggs in the wrap reminded me of school breakfast or eggs laid on a pan and baked. I had the steak and egg wrap. He had the buffalo chicken wrap. I have a southern palate and I just didn't feel the love in the food. However, it is a nice place to grab a quick bite and chill. There is a beautiful view of the green hills and the street is landscaped. I'd come back but it would not be my first choice. read more

Good coffee. Don't mind the longer than usual wait for it. Being first time customer here didn't know how the ordering system works. My suggestion don't give customers the order, baked goods, then an alert buzzer for the hot beverages. We get you all are busy, we customers usually want the complete order not hot beverages 20 minutes later. Cinnamon croissant today was not what expected. Tough and chewy. Lacking a puff pastry more of a sweet bread in the shape of a croissant. Dough was not flaky puff pastry as in traditional croissant. But bread dough. Please fix this or sell as a bun. I would try again but skip baked goods, salads looked good. read more

I was just happy that there was a blended coffee available on the island. We had to walk here about 10 to 15 minutes from where we were staying, and it was a nice walk. When you enter the coffee shop there's not a lot of seating area inside but there are outside. The coffee blinds were OK nothing special, but will get you through your day if you're working downtown. read more

We got breakfast. I can confidentially say that. I can't say much for anything else, and it was even a process getting breakfast. We ordered egg sandwiches and we got our order and literally had bread and two pieces of bacon We had to take it back and then wait for them to add the egg because of course it wasn't redone fresh. And it's not even like they make they egg, it's a pre done thing they heat up. Anyways staff was not friendly or even talkative - well to us, they spent a lot of time talking to each other. If it's summer and you're headed to the airport and there's no other place to grab a bite - come here. Otherwise, there are other decent places back by the boardwalk. read more

A pleasant little coffee shop that also has breakfast items and sandwiches. Staff is courteous. My avocado sandwich was just okay. Either the smashed avocado or the alfalfa sprouts seemed very salty to me. The French Fries were excellent. They could do a much better job wiping off the tables. read more

I would actually give this place 3.5 stars. Not the best breakfast selection but considering my husband doesn't eat breakfast food, the bistro offered us the best of both worlds. I got the quiche and coffee. He got some type of pork sandwich, I think. I went back for coffee a few days later and a Blueberry Muffin, but they were out of muffins. Essential improvements needed: Is it too much to ask for a smile from the staff? How about washing the tables everyday?!? We got a sneak peek at the soon to be opened cafe in Gallows Bay and it is going to be awesome! The.menu has breakfast and lunch, coffee and smoothies. Our group of friends had a little bit of everything...or seemed to and it was all devoured. This place is my favorite place in Christiansted for coffee. The line here says enough - this place was packed on Wednesday at 10am. I got an iced coconut latte with a cheese danish. The coffee was so yummy and the cheese danish had cinnamon blended into the dough - soooooo good! read more

Conveniently located next door to Undercover Books is one of the best coffee shops to grace our island. They even have buzzers to let you know when your food is ready~ just like any big name coffee shop stateside. Plenty of outdoor seating, and nice 1/2 booths inside with air conditioning. Starbucks, you have to be kidding. This place The Bistro in Gallows Bay has by far the best coffee, hot or cold, best variety of frozen coffee drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, soups and killer (meant in the best way of course) pastries. My most favorite is the cherry cheese Danish. The Lemon infused glazed pound cake (very heavy.. but a heavenly delight) excellent. Chocolate cookie melts in your mouth. I will make sure to try each of their pastries. BF had the daily special roast beef, swiss cheese sandwich with homemade chips and choice of bread, also exceptional. This place is a must try, when you are here on the Island, vacation or local. By the way the Individual giving a lecture on TripAdvisor explaining what a bistro really is, needs to go back to France! If you miss your "Bistro" that much... stay home and enjoy your "own" food. read more

The bistro is located in Gallows Bay right across the post office near Bank of St. Croix. This little spot has changed names and owners a few times but ever since the Bistro came into existence its been a good thing. They have a large assortment of pastries my favorite being the cinnamon scones nice and warm with a dark roast cup of coffee. Their sandwiches are filling and are served with home made chips ( a bit greasy but still good). I frequented this little cafe as I worked a hop and skip away. The Bistro has a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, for breakfast and lunch (in particular the Chicken Pesto Press and Shrimp Carnival Wrap were very good). There's vegetarian options and the ability to customize your sandwhiches. They have great baked goods, and they make their own fries and chips. Only downside is that it gets very busy and can sometimes take a little bit of time. Thankfully you can call in an order in advance, that definitely helps! read more

Visited this cute little bistro in 2012. We ended up going here a few times for lunch. The clamstrips sandwich was excellent. I love the homemade potato chips. The closest thing to Starbucks you will get on the Island! I've had 3 frozen coffee drinks here and they were all awesome! The food is good but a bit on the pricey side, seating inside is nice during the summer and there is places to plug in your devices while you have your cupa or a meal. This was a great breakfast option in Christiansted, in fact we came here twice. The breakfast sandwiches were generous with unique combination of ingredients and the coffee was quite good. They also have multiple flavored cream cheeses which made e New Yorker in me smile. I found the herb cream cheese very flavorful. I found myself quite enchanted with the chickens that hang around near the outside tables (at a slight distance so no worries about disrupting your meal). As a tourist they were entertaining to observe. The outdoor area is covered allowing you to enjoy your meal in the shade, away from the strong St Croix sun. Well. First visit, and type of place we like for lunch, salads, sandwiches, coffees, etc. They messed up my salad order twice. Need them to just play a little more attention to the order. So although it looked delicious, I won't know until next time... Because I am not sending my food back for more to come out of the kitchen- twice :o so ... soaked in dressing I just asked for a refund, they were apologetic and I did say next time, because I will give it another shot! Great experience. I agree with earlier reviews -- good food, fast friendly service, comfortable environment. I went for breakfast and had the no bagel, no carbs with bacon. The process are comparable to other places -- maybe $10-$12 for breakfast with a drink. The place is frequented by a variety of folks -- locals, tourists, business visitors (in suits, a not so common sight). Some eat in, some take out. Overall a nice vibe.
