I will not be coming back here. After spending two days calling the shop for an appointment with no answer I decided to try walking in. I was able to be helped immediately which was nice but they weren't super friendly and they didn't seem to want to help. When I said, if you know of colors that would be a better match feel free to use those and my nail tech responded with I don't care. When I asked for the designs in my picture they tried to talk me out of them and then when I insisted they said someone else would have to do them. Eventually I just settled for one color so I didn't have to be moved around and complicate things for them. The icing on the cake was paying the same price I paid for my last set with multiple colors, designs, and rhinestones as this basic one color set I just got. I am so relaxed right now I'm not sure I am going to be able to get out of this chair. The renovations have made it look like the high class salon that it has become. The staff is still small but very personable. Tea, my specialist was amazing. I called Andy at HJ Nails & Spa In the early afternoon,and he was so kind on the phone, and he could see me immediately. I went right over. The shop is brand-spanking new, and SO clean. They have a fantastic assortment of colors, and the shop is bright and tastefully decorated. They have been open only a month, and their prices are reasonable. When I arrived, Andy greeted me at the door, I picked out my color and he did a fabulous job on my nails. So I decided to get the basic spa pedicure, as well. Tee did a super job on my "piggies." I went in with a few of my friends today as no other salon had time to do four people which I expected due to it being a weekend. At first everyone seemed nice. They started on my friends first as I was just getting an acrylic fill instead of a whole set. When it was my turn the man started to use a nail drill on me and got my skin multiple times and snagged on the tips of my nails which hurt as well. He then handed me over to an older lady. She didn't speak English to well which was fine and she continued on the nails. I will say she did beautifully at applying g the acrylic but when she went to pain it all went downhill. I wanted emerald green French tips. She started with a clear pink coat which had hair in it and then continued to the tips where she didn't do to coats and went super thick. I told her to make them thinner but she didn't listen. They were super patchy so I asked her to do a second coat which was super messy so I just asked her to paint the whole thing because I was getting frustrated. When I said that she called me stupid and grabbed a different super bright shade of green and finished them off. I was just ready to leave at this point so I just let her. Afterwards I noted multiple hairs and pieces of glitter in my nails. I almost cried when I got in my car. I will be going elsewhere tomorrow to get a polish change. Waste of money, go somewhere else. read more

I will NEVER, EVER return!!! I recently booked an appointment for a "Classic Pedi" which I was informed had changed price from the original $28.00, and is now a $35.00 service. While the "technician" was doing my nails, yes, she did all the services included with this "Classic Pedi" including the callus remover, massage with Sea Salt and Hot Towels on each foot/leg. When I went to pay, to my utter surprise, that technician informed me the bill for the service she had just performed was $62.00! I told her I had specifically requested the "Classic Pedi" which was $35.00 ... but the technician stated that while she was doing my pedi, she had informed me she was upgrading my Pedi to their most expensive Pedi Service, and that I had agreed to it! I told her that was a blatant lie!!! I told her "You NEVER, EVER asked me if I wanted that upgrade, plain and simple!!! Not only that, but the nails on my right foot were cut quite a bit shorter than the nails on my left foot! She refused to drop that huge $27.00 surcharge which I NEVER asked for, and I was FORCED to pay the $62.00 that I NEVER agreed to!!!. OUTRAGEOUS!!! read more

Do not get waxed here! They are completely untrained and I'm sure they don't have their licenses to perform waxes. They made a client bleed heavily during her bikini wax and afterward her whole upper thigh was bruised and burning. This is the worst reaction to a wax I've ever seen and whoever did this wax should not be allowed to touch another client again. The client asked for a refund; since she was physically injured and not satisfied in the least and they offered a gift card.
