When we were seen by Dr. Ian Pope, he did not address the reason for our visit. Instead, he focused only on my child's chronic condition and told us to go to a children's emergency room. This was confusing and frustrating, as my son has been seen at this urgent care for years and has never been turned away for something like a cough. We DO NOT need an ER just for a cough.  The interaction felt rushed and dismissive. We were not given proper discharge instructions at the time, nor did we receive clear communication about the visit. There was no thorough assessment, no vitals were taken, and we were not provided with a note for school. To make matters worse, the discharge paperwork we later received did not reflect what actually happened during the visit, which is extremely concerning. Additionally, the facility itself has declined in quality. The air conditioning was not working, and there was only a small fan being used in the front area, which raises concerns about comfort and hygiene. Overall, this was one of the worst healthcare experiences I've had. Despite living nearby, I would not return or recommend this location to others unless absolutely necessary. The level of care and professionalism has significantly declined over the past year.

She took the time to make me feel at ease, and the sutures she placed were beautifully done. The level of professionalism, compassion, and teamwork I experienced was exceptional. My health trouble began on Friday and by Saturday, I knew it wouldn't get better. I can't even remember if I made an appointment on Saturday for Sunday or I made it the same day. I did it on the app. at KP.org I also didn't know where I would find an urgent care, but I will drive distances for good healthcare. I had to drive to Fontana Kaiser to deal with a brain tumor several years ago so distance and I are old friends. I am Kaiser loyal, so I prefer an urgent care attached to a Kaiser hospital. One of my choices was Moreno Valley. I've been there before and it's a newer hospital. There is a Middle Eastern market nearby, so I chose Moreno Valley. Unluckily for me, there was this crazy storm and I already hate driving the 60 freeway. Upon checking-in, the young woman asked about my drive. She commiserated about the rain. I saw a doctor rather quickly. Really. The doctor gave me a diagnosis (rendering my diagnosis incorrect) and cautioning me on the consequences). She was very knowledgeable and nice. I'm so comfortable here, I didn't even learn her name (shame on me). I was correct to pick Sunday and not Labor Day. When the student PA walked in she introduced herself as her head was turned away from me and she was chewing gum, so I had to ask her to repeat herself which I had to do several times during the visit. Instead of realizing her gum chewing made her impossible to understand, she chewed her gum some more whenever she repeated herself. It is bad enough that she was not taught in school that chewing gum around patients is not professional, but her supervising physician assistant allowed her to walk in to see patients knowing she was chewing gum. She certainly saw her chewing gum when she entered the room I was in. Medical standards are on the decline everywhere. This just accentuates it. BTW, at the beginning of my visit, the medical assistant who took my vitals was wearing street clothes, didn't look like medical staff at all. She did not introduce herself or state her credentials and wasn't friendly. The purpose of this review is not to discourage patients from going to All Valley. I hope that management will improve the professionalism of its staff and any students who rotate there. I'm not hopeful they will even read this review because I see zero management responses to any of the other reviews.
