I was quoted a simple fee with no add ons, which is great because I like it when things are simple. Drop off was easy. The layout of the shop is an open concept, so you can see all the groomers and the dogs they're working on. Service was pretty fast, and they'll call 15 minutes before the service is complete. But they always have matts, literally every single time I've EVER taken them they've had small mats here and there, but nothing crazy. The work that was done clearly shows the groomer was just lazy and didn't want to take the time to care for my babies. It's not hard to trim and thin out mats, I do it at home all the time with thinning scissors. Yes it's time consuming but that's what I pay for. I've gotten them groomed monthly since I've gotten them and have NEVER had this happen. When messaging them about how upset I was, all they said was that brushing the mats out is too painful and shaving was the "best option". Huh? Just sounds lazy to me. Once you bathe them, trim, you can easily use thinning scissors to take small mats out. This is a clear case of neglect and I'm very disappointed in the response. The blame was put on me 100% which I don't agree with. Be aware!

Why are you even asking me this?! I requested for the owner to call me and still have not heard from them. My dog is recovering but she is completely traumatized by this experience. I have never seen my dog tremble, bleed or cry this much in the 12 years I've had her. I am more so disappointed that there has been NO FOLLOW UP or explanation as to how this happened.
