This would be my first negative review on Google especially for an establishment that I had an amazing experience at months ago, in which Kason massage techniques were amazing. I dont think I've ever a bad experience anywhere as I did tonight. Because there are good people working here I will stick to facts refraining from the embarrassment and disappointment. This time around I decided to use a Groupon. I called to appoint w/ Kason using my Groupon last Thursday but was told I'd have to come in Friday because he was booked. Friday I endured over 1 1/2 hours of traffic to get there to find out he wasnt available. I was told by a woman I havent seen around that they didnt know when he'll be back then it changed to he's not coming back to you can't select who you want if you purchased with a Groupon. No courtesy call was made b4 I made the long trek down the 405. Around 6:50p I was offered a female masseuse who I declined due to the amount of pressure I truly needed for my appointment. I was then offered an 830p appointment with another male; however, I couldn't wait around for nearly 2 hours. I called Groupon to get a refund who apologized and reimbursed me for my gas as well. NEED TO KNOW: 1)I suggest confirming your masseuse is there before driving there. 2)if you appoint with a specific masseuse from reading reviews dont expect that person to be available for your scheduled appointment 3)the staff is usually kind, if not there's no manager on site to assist. BEWARE OF THIS RIP OFF BUSINESS!!!! I purchased a groupon for $90 for a 90 minute couples massage but unfortunately, the coupon expired after 20 days of purchase. The good thing about groupon is their policy states that once your coupon expires, the business will give you credit for your coupon instead of the whole groupon. Well, when I called this business to make an appointment, she immediately asked me if this is a coupon from groupon to which I informed her that it was. I informed the lady that my groupon has expired, how much extra would I have to pay? The lady told me I had to pay an additional $40. This is when the conversation went sour!!!! I informed the lady that the price of the groupon and the price on your wall inside your store for a 90 minute couple massage are the exact same price so why are you going to charge me an extra $40? She informed me because my coupon is expired. This made absolutely no sense to me that they are charging almost double the price just because I have an expired coupon. I questioned the lady why they would charge me double and the lady hung up on me and refused to talk. I contacted groupon to report the issue that I was having with this particular store that I have never ever experienced before. I chose to do the 60-minute couples massage with my mom. A guy led us into a room, and prepared the room for us. However, I did not realize that the guy would be the one who was going to give my mom a massage. They should definitely have asked for our permission to see if we are comfortable with having the opposite gender give a massage to us. I had a woman as my masseuse. However, she wore heels so I could hear "click-click-clack-clack" every time she moved around the room to massage a different area. It wasn't very relaxing to hear heels banging on the floor while I was trying to relax. Also, they had us flip 5 minutes before the session was over. So they spent 55 minutes massaging our backs, which was very uneven. I felt as though she was mostly just rubbing the oil onto my skin as opposed to pushing the product in and hitting the different muscles on my body. I do have to say that the hot stone portion was very soothing. However, that did not last for a long time. Overall, not impressed with my experience here. read more

The Aroma Therapy was non existent, but the massage it self and the hot stones were so fantastic, I completely forgot I was promised aroma therapy. This is not super swanky day spa (the massages are cheap), so don't come in expecting Burke Williams. Head 2 Toe is really clean and actually much nicer than many of the "budget" massage places. You get your own cubby (not room), and they use really nice towels. The staff here speaks Chinese, so I can imagine there could be language barrier for some, but the guy who did my massage, Sam, was so nice and accommodating. He asked me where my problem areas were and made sure to give those spots some extra attention. I'll definitely be back! read more

I bought a voucher for a couples massage and it was the worst experience ever, first of all you can't understand one word they are saying the place looks nothing like a spa you are able to hear noise from outside and the massage itself was horrible. I don't think they know what they are doing, they are so rough and painful, I'm not one to complain about pain but OMG half the massage was done with elbows. They will provide you with pants if your not wearing any undergarments. Overall the massage was ok, the masseuses were talking amongst each other and chuckling quietly. I felt like they didn't go hard enough because I had some deep knots and they were still there when I left. Would I try this place again? My wife have been to this location the last two times we have visited LA. They have Ben fantastic each time. They are very accommodating and vocal about making you feel good during the massage. I called ahead a week prior to our arrival and asked for an appointment for a couples massage. They informed me to not purchase the Groupon for the session and said they'd charge me just $80 for the 60 minute couples massage. Like I said, very accommodating. Despite being in a busy area of Torrance, the room we were in was quiet and dark and allowed for us both to relax during the massage, oil rub, and hot rock massage. It was fantastic and we will definitely heading back next time we're in town. They have strong hands and apply good pressure. They got all of our shoulder knots out, which is exactly what we needed. Other complaint is front desk and other staff weren't all that friendly. Kinda like get in, pay, get out. No greeting, no smile, no asking how you feel after even just as routine BS. Rooms are just a blank room with no decor, and the "beds" are super close to the ground and setting their masseuses up for back injuries. I brought it to her attention when she asked me to sign the transaction and no one there knew how to delete the transaction. Its a pretty affordable massage place at $80 for a couple's massage for 90 minutes. The really get your entire body. I haven't tried any of their other beauty services, but I probably won't be trying anything else. I've visited this place twice and I can definitely say that the quality of service has gone down since my first visit a year ago. So I had somewhat of an awkward experience. The massages were fine and at the price we paid, it was pretty affordable. However, when I went to pay...I didn't tip nearly as much as I "should" (I paid specifically around 13%) have and I did feel a little guilty, but figured that next time I visit, I would make sure to tip more. But, instead of being okay with it...the employees stared at me, almost shocked like "thats it?" I felt terrible instantly because I knew i should've tipped more, but at this point I couldn't just start throwing dollars at them..nor did I want to anymore because of their reaction. I probably won't be visiting this place because I felt completely awkward by the whole experience, but I guess for those of you who want a cheap/affordable massage, be forewarned that you should tip adequately. read more

Do not get a Groupon for this place. Do not come here expecting good customer service. I purchased Groupon and made an appointment for the same day. When I arrived, the woman at the counter asked to see my Groupon and I showed it to her. She tapped the "Redeem" button and I went into the massage room. About fifteen minutes into the massage, the woman came into the room in the middle of my massage and told me that she couldn't get the Groupon to work. She left and the massage continued. Another ten minutes or so later, she came back into the room and interrupted the massage a second time and asked to see my Groupon on my phone. I didn't want to get out my phone at that moment because I was literally wrapped in a towel (and trying to relax - the whole point of going there in the first place!). I asked if I could show it to her when I was finished. She agreed. When my massage was finished, I went back out front and she said that my Groupon wasn't working and that I needed to call Groupon. I explained that the Groupon had been marked "Redeemed" so that I couldn't come back and reuse it, and that I had nothing to do with anything; the problem was between her and Groupon. I told her that it was her responsibility to call them and figure it out. She demanded that I call. I went ahead and tried to call, but there is no number for Groupon anymore. You can get a call back, but it takes up to an hour. I wasn't going to stand there waiting for an hour. I chose the Live Chat option and explained to the customer service rep what was going on . He was attentive and helpful, and he sent me a second voucher number. I showed this to the woman. She tried it and, again, it didn't work. Then she said "Your number isn't working, what are we going to do about this?" I again explained that it really wasn't mine to deal with. At that point she demanded that I pay her cash. I didn't want to, as I had already paid for the Groupon, been interrupted in the middle of my massage twice, and then given the runaround for something that wasn't my fault. I didn't yell or scream or call anyone names. I spoke directly and stood up for myself and she asked me to calm down. At that point I was tired of dealing with the whole debacle. I gave her the cash after all. I went to my car and requested a refund from Groupon using the app, which was easy to do. I will NEVER go to this place again after this treatment. The woman who gave me a massage did a good job, however, I waited 15 mins for her to arrive into my room. I was kind of annoyed because I had an appointment. Oh yea, and the rooms are curtained off so you can hear the staff talk and people walk back and forth. But it's pretty minimal. They play soft music in the background which helped a lot. Long story short, two weeks later I went to another massuesse for another massage for the pain I was feeling from the massage they gave me. We were serviced by two Chinese (??) girls who clearly have no massage experience. I actually yelped loudly because of what she was doing. Imagine someone standing at the foot of your bed and taking your toes and sharply forcing them towards the floor. That's why I yelped. A few days later I noticed bruising on my arms. My ankle hasn't been the same since. That was weeks ago. As for the general experience? The two girls spent the entire time speaking in a foreign language to each other, giggling and whispering. I finally decided to check this place out after seeing countless ads in the local mailers and a recommendation from a friend. It's definitely a good deal for the price- I got the 30 min foot and 30 min massage for $35. The place looks new and clean- the lobby is bright with a waterfall display with the place's logo. I was a walk-in, and the guy at the front told me it would be about 10 min, but took me into one of the rooms right away. The room has one lounge chair, a flat-screen TV, and a pull-down shade in place of a door, which means that sometimes throughout the treatment you can hear noise from other rooms down the hall. They brought a small round tub to soak my feet in, and I had a choice of lavender, milk, or rose. A guy in scrubs came in and didn't say much, pretty much just started the treatment. He started with my face, head, and neck, using massage and pressure. Then he put an eye pillow over my eyes and started the foot massage. Parts of it used a little too much pressure for my taste, but it was very thorough. After the foot massage, he resumed the body massage portion, including some stretching maneuvers on my legs. Then he reclined the lounge chair all the way down and asked me to turn onto my stomach, and voila! The chair converts into a massage table complete with the little hole for your face! He then finished the body massage with work on my neck, back, hips/buttocks, arms, and legs. It involved massage, pounding, and again he included some stretching maneuvers as well. All in all not bad for $35. Not the best massage I've gotten, mostly because of too much pressure at certain points, but the guy was definitely working hard.
