I called at the last minute on a Sunday afternoon (after calling several massage businesses that were closed). I had slept wrong & was in some discomfort. They had one opening available with Zac (sp??) & I took it eagerly for some relief. The location is a bit elusive, it's in the strip plaza with the Alcoa WalMart, it sits behind the Zaxby's that's in the out parcel & their store front is obscured by some trees in the parking lot, I know this sounds odd but you'd know what I meant if you saw it. However don't let that deter you. The reception area is very nice & peaceful, A Zen feeling with a beautiful aquarium, very relaxing. Veronica greeted me, I completed some brief paperwork & enjoyed a wonderful 90 minute massage from Zac. So I was highly dissatisfied with this place. I was given a gift as a Christmas gift and it took me some time til I was able to use it because like anyone you work and have a busy conflicting schedule. So fast forward to when I called to make an appointment. The person I spoke to (unfortunately did not say her name) was really rude to me but I just thought maybe she is having a bad day anyways I said " yes I was gifted a gift card and was calling to schedule a massage" This woman began to ask me what color gift card I had and me taken back by the question responded anyways. The woman told me that those color gift cards are no good. Confused by her response I said oh why not she said (with an attitude) we have new owners and they are not honoring those cards then hung up on me. I personally understand new owners taking businesses over and everything but one would have thought that they would have at least tried to do something like offer me a discount or something to get business. And one more thing I have worked in customer service myself for many many years and whether or not I was having a bad day I was still nice to any and all costumers. To be honest the only reason why I even gave one star was because it makes you give a rating. Anyone that asks me and I do get asked...a lot, I tell them go somewhere else. Customer service is key.
