When we first came in, we were a little nervous because we both had Never been to one of these things before. So we didn't really know what to do, or to expect. We got ready, and Tom and Mary came in. I'm currently pregnant so they DID make accommodations for me (they want you to lay on your belly) they give you support pillows until you're "just right". It was hard to tell my Body to relax considering a stranger was touching me. Lol. But after about 10-20 minutes in, I was able to calm fully down and relax. They massaged everywhere. Got all my Muscle Knots in my back and neck out. She also massaged my Calves- Which was AMAZING (which are running rampant with leg cramps right now due to pregnancy. Haha!) The hand and foot massage were absolutely Spectacular. So firm and yet gentle at the same time! The bathrooms and rooms were super clean!! It smelled fresh and organic there, my Husband and I really liked the experience. THE HOT ROCKS MADE ME DROOL HAHAHA!! Mary was very professional with asking if I was okay with it before proceeding. My Husband and I were so relaxed that when we were talking later on about it, he had mentioned that he actually fell asleep towards the end for 5-10 minutes... Although the outside looks a bit (in my opinion sketchy) to my surprise everything was on the up and up. Nicely lit for a cozy comfy vibe. Music playing at the right frequency to unwind after a long days work. The place was clean. I walked into a spotless treatment room that was private, quiet and inviting. Im not talking like it was luxury type spa but all the same it exceeded my expectations. The conclusions I made based on the exterior of the building faded when I was greeted at the front door. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Plus when I entered the treatment room there was a delicately placed rose on the bed (while it was faux) I still found it to be a nice touch. Now for the best part my masseur was AMAZING!!! I got 60 minute table massage and a 30 minute foot massage. Both equally relaxing and rejuvenating from head to toe. Nervous system reactivated with recharged circulation and new feet walking up out of there! And to think the name foot massage spa almost had me skip past this spot because I needed more then a foot massage. Don't be misled by the name! They offer stone, full body deep tissue, couples, and Swedish massages. If I wasn't stuck in Knoxville for work and looking for a reset I might have missed this spot. After a day of heavy house-cleaning yesterday, I had some mighty stiff and sore areas. Before each massage, Terrah always asks if there are any different issues than the last time I had my massage. That way she can concentrate on those particular areas. After my massage, I was much more limber and felt less soreness in my stiff areas. I have been going to Terrah for once-a-month massages for over a year now. She is very professional and gives, I feel, a great massage. Whether you need a massage for relaxation to de-stress or a massage to concentrate on certain muscles or sore areas, I would highly recommend Terrah.
