I called this establishment based on the really good reviews. Initially, I made appointments over the phone and when I went in for an appointment for my husband and I, they had scheduled the wrong dates; but they ended up making the appointments right for the time that we each came in. The next time I made appointments, I did it online. Not only did we get the scheduled appointments, we both had Annie. There is a little bit of a language barrier, so it makes it hard to state what you want during the appointment, but the massages were some of the best we've ever received. Also, unlike other massage parlors that I've been to in the past, when you schedule for a full hour, you receive the full hour. This was the worst massage of my life. I was gifted a prenatal massage and a foot reflexology massage for my birthday, worth $125 and an hour and a half in length. The masseuse didn't massage me, she just rubbed lotion on me, or was trying to rub out knots, but they were actually my bones. I have bruises on my neck from her doing that. She was on her phone the whole time, and at one point the video she was watching the volume got turned up and she scrambled to turn it off and tried to play it off by asking me questions. The reflexology foot massage was terrible. She had the sheet over my feet and was rubbing my skin raw from the sheet. It was painful to walk the next day from the sheet chafing my feet. She gave me $5 off because she knew she didn't do her job well, but I feel owed a refund because the experience was so terrible. read more

The facility is modestly decorated; no unnecessary bling or pretense, and the music promotes a calm, gentle atmosphere. I didn't know any of the therapists so I just scheduled online and said "first available". A young man named Saavik gave me my massage and I uncharacteristically am struggling to describe it. Words like "perfect" and "outstanding" come to mind, but also "kind" and "professional ". He clearly has an in-depth knowledge of the musculoskeletal system but he is also quite perceptive in applying that knowledge to a shape a personalized experience based on body type, pain points and client requests. My sister in-law and I went for massages yesterday at this Pure Massage. First of all we weren't greeted. I had been there a couple years ago and knew what the routine was so I grabbed the forms and we filled them out. The gal comes out and in broken English asks if we want the same room. After a bit of awkward clarification we decided on separate rooms. With no instructions we were shown our rooms. Ok I guess this is when I get undressed and slip under the thin sheet. No sooner had I climbed in and she was knocking and opening the door. It was cold! My toes felt cold for the whole time. The massage was ok, but I've certainly had much better. And she did this weird finger snapping thing! I was glad I don't have fake nails because they would have definitely popped off! I googled it and it's a Tai technique and I never want that again. Hour massage for 75 bucks. I do not recommend! My sister in-law also felt cold and said she'd give it a 3/5 . No communication for her experience either. So be forewarned y'all! read more

I made an appointment online for my daughter-in-law for a deep tissue massage with cupping. It was a gift for a young mom, exhausted and needing this special service. I received a receipt and confirmation by email before her massage. We arrived 10 minutes early and she was taken on time for her service. I chose to pay with tip while she was with her therapist. One hour later she came out all dressed asking, "when will you do my cupping"? Her massuer told her "no, I give you hot stones instead because people like better". But she tried to tell her massuer the entire time she DID NOT order or want hot stones! She wanted cupping! She was ignored! I showed my receipt and was handed their personal cell phone to speak to a manager! English and Chinese was spoken to me arguing about the procedure! A "language barrier was blamed even though a receipt was on file and appointment had been made! She was taken back in for the procedure originally ordered, but free. She was happy. I feel angry because I believe being an immigrant family myself, English should be learned if you are going to be in business offering a personal business! We should NOT have had to argue and we won't be going back to this salon. Poor communication and my gift was so important. read more

The massage was very relaxing, nice environment, and the price is very reasonable. Kristy made sure I was comfortable and gave me a full body massage. Seemed like she concentrated extra some on my shoulders since I had identified that as a sore spot. I had a bad experience last time I got a massage so I was sort of nervous but this was helpful and I'll be going back. I'd recommend them for sure. My boyfriend recommended I see Alissa but Kristy was great too, I'd wager you will do fine with whoever you see here. My husband and I booked (kinda last minute) a 60 minute couples massage. It was his first massage and my 3rd or 4th. The booking process on line was simple. The place was clean. My hubby dislikes strong smells and the oils they used were mildly scented. Both of us left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. He got the first good nigHts sleep he's had in a while due to some sciatica. The experience was neither fancy nor creepy. Just very comforting and peaceful. Both massage therapists were very courteous and kind. Alisa and Seth? Maybe? I probably have the names wrong. But both were great. They have a room with two tables facing each other and while we didn't really talk to one another much, it was comforting to know we were together. We will definitely go back. I felt it was a much more personal experience than I had At another "chain" type establishment. I asked my hubby what he thought afterwards and he said "it was worth every last penny!"
