I specifically made my appointment 9 days in advance because I was attending a wedding and needed a guaranteed time slot for a blowout. When booking, I clearly repeated the correct Saturday three separate times, yet the appointment was still scheduled for the wrong date. I understand mistakes happen, so as soon as I received the confirmation text with the incorrect date, I immediately called to have it corrected. The receptionist assured me it would be fixed. Several days later, I then received a text from the stylist saying my appointment had been canceled and asking if I wanted to book another one. I replied right away explaining that I had never canceled my appointment. Since I received no response, I decided to call myself because the last thing I wanted was to be left without service on the day of the wedding. Madison, the stylist, told me that I had originally been booked on the wrong date and that the time I requested was no longer available. She offered me a different time, but that was extremely frustrating since my entire day had already been planned around the original appointment. I then asked to be booked with another stylist at the time I needed. She promised to get back to me -- but never did. No one followed up, no one fixed the mistake, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. The complete lack of communication and accountability was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable from a customer service standpoint.

I have very unique needs for my hair so I asked if there was someone who specialized in my hair type. They gave me an appt with a stylist and I assumed I was in good hands. I came to my appt armed with about 4 photos of what I wanted my hair to look like - all they while knowing that there would need to be some modifications. Needless to say, the cut didn't turn out well but the color did. I paid a quite a bit to have my hair butchered and was encouraged by some friends to go back to have it fixed. But if he messed it up once, why chance it again? Thankfully I grew a brain and decided to look Tami up. I was willing to travel for her to fix this mess. Thank the Lord she is still local! Botched and overcharged!! This is hands down the worst…read moreexperience I've ever had at a hair salon. Just look at this hack job, I wanted solid black hair. I'm autistic so having to call and talk to her to make an appointment, instead of booking online is bad enough. I can hardly understand her accent. The whole time she did my hair she was much more rough than she needed to be, painfully pulling on my scalp. When my hair was finally done and had been dried, I headed to the front desk she GRABBED ME BY THE SHOULDER (wtf?? Do not touch people without consent!) and insisted she needed to "comb" it. She ran a flat iron through my hair, despite me saying that I didn't need her to style it and I don't like to unnecessarily use heat on my hair. She never told me the cost, but I naturally assumed it would be cheap because the salon is not as nice. It is dilapidated, and the posters on the wall show styles that havent been on trend since 2004. But she charged me $150 saying it's because my hair is long, but Ulta doesn't change the price based on length. Hair color there only costs $81-$102. The higher price is for a master stylist, which Suzy clearly is not. She also has the audacity to only accept cash, so I had to go to the ATM and pay a withdrawal fee. I went to Ulta afterwards for my tinsel and the stylist there was SHOCKED at how awful it was. She took this picture for me. The dye was not rinsed out of my hair, it was still CRUSTY and she PUT A FLAT IRON ON IT LIKE THAT. And as you can see, the color is patchy and uneven. I had to get the color redone, overall having to spend twice what I should have on my hair. Go to the Ulta hair salon instead, they are so much better in every way!
