The Elefante music repair shop promises 24h response time to give a quote. I have an instrument…read morethat needed an urgent evaluation with a few days. I have dropped my instrument for evaluation/repair on Monday, I didn't get a response in Tuesday, and I called again wedn and was told I will get a phone call on the same day. Still didn't happen. On Thursday morning, called again and was told they will call back on the same day, and still didn't happen. The front desk again told me they will call me on Friday. When I asked how I can believe him when I have been lied to three times, he said he wasn't sure if they will be able to call me on Friday. Elefante has failed their promise to customers three times in a row, and I feel the company is just telling lies in order to get the customers to hang up, rather than to help solve their problems. To follow up, on Friday Elefante called me in the morning and informed me their technician was not available in the past days. They apologized and had my instrument inspected right away. I am appreciative of this communication at last. However, please be aware that some instrument may incur delays depending on their technician's availabilities. This is why I am revising to 3 stars now from 1 star before.

GOD came highly recommended by many of the friends we made locally, and I am so grateful to all of them. My child has flourished in this studio; Miss Beth, Miss Alyssa, and the other teachers love the students like their own children, and I have always felt welcomed as part of their dance family. Miss Patti in the office is fantastic, as well, and we love seeing Mimi! My child has learned so much about teamwork from Miss Beth, and the support and mentoring provided by the older dancers has been an inspiration to us. The programs are $20 per ticket plus $3.00 handling fee totaling $23.00. Initially entering the theater, the greeter didn't even say, Hello or Welcome. The young girl just scanned my ticket and blurted out, "Once you leave the theater you can't reenter". Management needs to address this issue Anyway, I proceeded over to the prepaid parking. The two young girls at this desk were very friendly. The theater is immaculately clean. You are also in a gallery. A small concession stand is off to side. Entering, the actual auditorium, the ushers are friendly and escort you to your seat. On with the show, "The Forgotten/L'oublie(s).". The program's theme was nonverbal, mysterious, sad and sexually suggestive. A portion of the program was executed in a Cirque du Soleil style. The show was even more great for $20.00. The show's duration was approximately 60 minutes. Rating wise, all the positives outweigh the negatives. 4 Stars. (If I didn't have that initial cold greeting, my rating would've been higher!) The theater is located on the grounds of Montclair University. Lots of signs directing you to outside handicapped parking and garage parking. The garage parking is $6.00.

According to the website, "New Moon Readings provide playwrights an opportunity to hear their work read aloud by professional actors, and to receive supportive yet constructive feedback." For viewers, it's an opportunity to see a creative work in progress and hear directly from the playwright, which I thought was really cool. I randomly came across the read-through of TRAD on their website, and booked tickets online (free - but you can also donate what you wish). It was a neat experience and would recommend it!

I am a big fan of Luna and I financially support them but &SONS is a miserable show and an insult to the audience. It is amateurish, booring and both loud at times and too low to hear the characters dialogue at others. This show could have been better presented as a very short 5-10 play and nothing would have been lost. Luna has a pay what you want policy which is great but this time I wish it was a pay after you view the show.

Josh works well with all levels of students: he makes beginners feel totally at ease and more experienced actors feel like they can hone their skills and expand their areas of comfort. He tackles all areas of the industry--from the business end to the technical aspects of filming, and infuses his humor into classes to make them fun! But wait....there's more! He also offers many, many opportunities to work on your craft outside of the classroom, as he writes and films short films, webisodes, feature films, as well as writing and producing dramatic and comedic plays for the stage--all cast with his students! Additionally, the camaraderie among the students makes for an atmosphere that is both welcoming and nurturing. And mid-way through the course, I couldn't sign up for the next class faster. Josh wasted no time in throwing us out of our comfort zones, which quickly created a camaraderie and bond within the class. Josh made each week a lot of fun, and there was always a performance. Leave your notebooks at home - this class is all about gaining experience and getting comfortable performing. 10/10 would recommend!!
