The staff are incredible - I called because I was worried I'd be late to class looking for parking and they were very calm and reassuring in letting me know there was a lot in the back. The space is very secure, behind a gate with a buzz-in. Once you go up the stairs, the space is drenched in calming hues and smells of incense. The walls have many stimulating pieces of art, history, or resources to look at. They have a fridge with tea. The yoga class itself is a sanctuary from the city. The yoga space is minimal, yet it's very comfortable to relax and practice yoga. They have a very secure locker room to keep devices away as well as a meditation room on the side.

I am amazed at the growth and structure Walkgood has taken on with their physical location! From yoga, to high intensity classes, meditation classes, running groups, walking groups, etc., the yard really has it all! And since studio is powered by the Propel brand, there are always complimentary items and events for members! For example, at yesterday's run, I got electrolyte supplements, granola bars, and workout bands! There are so many perks! My favorite element is the community! I've been in LA for 10 years, and I've had my fair share of memberships with hot yoga studios, wellness centers, etc., but none have nurtured and fostered community in the way that Walkgood has. (My love language. ) Before class began, I settled onto my mat and looked up. Blue star-like lights danced across the ceiling while skylights poured natural light into the room. Music slowly awakened the space. Dreamy. Like practicing yoga inside a tiny galaxy. This Level 2 heated power flow felt like a collection of mini-flows woven together. Fluid. Playful. Exploratory. At one point, we explored Double Toe Hold Pose with the option to widen into straddle until our feet touched (in my case, clunked onto) the floor. The room lightened, and Johanna reminded us that yoga is playful. The Tribe: I'm starting to think yoga studios are modern sanctuaries. I walked in carrying: traffic, stress, and...my psyche after traffic on the LA freeways. ‍ And then for an hour: everyone breathes together, moves together, sweats together, softens together. It's fascinating how naturally connection happens after a yoga class. People gather in hallways and locker rooms talking about: the music, the class, and the fun poses. (This is the magic of yoga!) The Space: Veda literally called me to it. I had originally planned to attend another studio that morning, but after circling endlessly for parking downtown, I surrendered to the yoga gods, opened ClassPass, and saw a 12:30 at Veda. Perfect. Located upstairs among other wellness spaces, the studio immediately felt calming and easy, plenty of parking, and a short walk upstairs. Inside: cubies, locker room, water station, soft welcoming energy. The Place: Free parking lot. Second-floor studio. Beautiful heat. Welcoming energy. They also had unlimited tea and fruits for guest consumption. Many of the fruits are actually grown in their garden! Our classes were led by Parvati. She really has a voice of an Angel and led the workshops and classes eloquently. The location has guest parking at the back of the house. The center is well maintained and clean. I will definitely be coming back for another retreat!

There is street parking available. I took a beginner/basics/level 1 class with Jan Church. It was great! and Jan was great at helping me jump right into things, getting oriented on the reformer and on the terminology for how things work on the machine. I've taken at least three classes with her and I love it. It feels like I have finally found a form of exercise which I tolerate (it's almost even FUN) and even kinda look forward to (this is UNIQUE for me. I'm NOT a gym person...and sometimes yoga is nice but sometimes feels really slow). The class speeds by and afterwards I feel my body has gotten a great workout and I can tell my core and muscles are starting to build. I'm doing this for the inner feel-good feeling and I'm really happy this place is near me. Definitely recommend this!

I would love to come back but it is quite expensive. Probably good for a treat!The overall studio is very pretty and aesthetic. The aerial room was a bit tight but did the job! Loved the openness of everything. The entrance and signing into the class was a bit messy and hectic, the entrance was under construction and the man at the front handing out the waivers and such seemed a bit overwhelmed. Didn't feel super welcoming. Streamlining and organizing this section would def help put clients more at ease since I was starting to doubt the class in the beginning.-BE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT! Otherwise you'll have to pay $4 to rent one. -The overall class was 10 minutes of warmup, 30 min lesson, and then 10 minutes of free time to record and practice what you just learned. -The AERIAL DANCE INTRO CLASS was a great class for those who have never done aerial or those who haven't done it in years. The man followed me around asking where i got my yoga mat and even when i was leaving asked if i am taking my yoga mat and where it is etc- very annoying, bizarre and frankly off putting as hell. he was anything but welcoming so i suggest you remove him from whatever he's doing in the front. never want to come back. apparently you have to pay for rental yoga mat. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.

I cancelled my membership to Radha Yoga and for over 6 mos. I'm still being charged. Numerous emails have returned either unanswered or a statement saying (more or less) sorry I can't stop taking your money. I've had to contact my credit card on a monthly basis to dispute the charges. It's frustrating! Chioma finally answered my request to have her stop charging me. Instead of acting like the responsible business owner, she tells me to stop harassing her. Chioma's unbelievable solution to her customer is for me to contact a third party. This leaves a bad impression on her and her practice.
