Terrible customer service. My Ford had an update which seized the car. They came and towed it and have had it for a week. Lied to me about providing a loaner car, left me without a car the week before Christmas. Now it's the day after and they still haven't touched my car and I'm without a way to get around. Ok folks..strap in..my saga with Ford continues! Needless to say my experience with this dealership has risen and fallen over the past few years. My most recent experience with this dealership has prompted me to edit my most recent review. So about a year ago I bought a used 2020 Ford Escape and have had nothing but problems with it since I got it. When the weather is cold, instead of ice building up on the outside of the windshield, it builds up on the inside! And not a little..I have to scrape it off with an ice scraper! Next..when on a highway going over 60 there is a constant rattling coming from the back of the car somewhere that has yet to be identified. Finally, when you open or close the drivers side door there is a screeching and cracking sound that is so loud it will turn heads of anyone near the car because it sounds like you are damaging a car. I have read up on the issue and there are thousands of these door defects on this model and yet no recall has been announced by Ford. So, during my most recent service I asked that the dealership look at the problem. I was informed by the service rep that Ford is aware of the issue but has not figured out a way to fix it yet and maybe by the end of 2024 they will have an answer to the problem. "They have no answer to the problem?" I have heard jokes that Fords are all POS..but I guess those jokes are rooted in truth since their engineers are clearly useless. Honestly, I was looking at the inside and outside of my Ford Escape and if I had the materials, instructions or even some good YouTube videos, I think I could make a better car than the Ford Escape. Sure it would take me a few months..but I am pretty sure my car would be better. For god's sake they have the upholstery stapled to particle board under the drivers seat to keep it attached! I would use some sort of seamless adhesive rather than medium sized staples pressed on a cheap piece of wood with no evident pattern of the stapling. Anywhoo..sorry I got side tracked for a moment. Back to the dealership. So needless to say I was a little upset about having to deal with a broken door for another year while Ford slowly descends into bankruptcy and with no regard for the customers that have supported them over the years. However, I did get a survey to fill out!!! I was honest and stated that the service rep was good but the news he delivered about my car was utter garbage and my review was marked in accordance with the knowledge that Ford knows they have a broken product but declined to fix it. A few days later I get a voicemail from the service rep at Healy Ford informing me that my review negatively impacts him financially and if he could send me a new survey that I oils give all positive ratings. This put me at a crossroad. I don't want to hurt anybody financially because of something that is out of their control. It is the same as not tipping a waitress because the food was bad. The waitress didn't cook it..she did her job..the chef or manager is at fault. The same applies to this situation..this rep was not at fault..Ford was or his manager was. However, another part of me looks at the rep as collateral damage and if this is what it takes to get my door fixed..then so be it. That same day I get an email from the reps manager asking me to fill out a new survey. This time I decided to answer the email back by stating why I felt that doing that would hurt my chances of getting my car fixed. The manager advised that she would escalate my issue with the door and that she would gladly meet me at my home or nearby if it was easier so she could take pictures of the door that was broken. I appreciated the offer but advised that I would just take a quick video and send it to her to help with my case. I was happy that this manger was going to try and right the wrong that Ford made and actually fix my door! All I had to do was send a quick 5 second video of me opening and closing my door and then some pics of the VIN and some other shots..no big deal..who hoo!! My car would be fixed. Unfortunately, my hopes were crushed when the manager advised that Ford does not accept videos to support malfunctioning product claims. WTF!! I have to assume that the dolts at Ford either do not have the mental capacity to click on video attachments on an email. Or they are so strapped for cash that they have downgraded to using AOL internet services and their dial up internet can't support moving images yet. So I have no other recourse than to edit my review of this dealership in the hopes that Ford sees the review and asks why Jeff S. is upset. read more

My family and I have gone to Ford for many years to buy and service our cars. The last time, however, has made me and my family look at another auto-body shop. I recently went for ONLY an oil change and when I got back in my car my check engine light was on. I went back in and told the worker that I had a check engine light and there was NOT one when I came in. He told me to come back on Monday during the day (it was Saturday at the time) and he can try and take a look. Come to find out I had a buddy look under my hood and in the image that was attached, this was unplugged. Plugging this back in resolved the issue but I also noticed that my door handle was broken off after my visit. It was loose when I brought it in but it was never detached. This was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Nobody should get their oil changed and when they get back in their car, a check engine light comes on and you tell me it is probably "spark plugs" and to come back and waste another day when I was already there for hours. A $40,000 truck turned into a $53,000 end of finance a $79,000 truck! First off the truck is a POS. Don't buy a ford ranger. This salesman talked him into a Theft protection BS, tire and wheel crap, extra warranty, the extra charge for maintenance and topping that all off with a glass warranty!! Y'all saw an older man walk in excited about a new truck and just stomped on him so you could make some extra money!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!! He walked out with a $1000/month payment. I WAS BASICALLY ROBBED. the whole bottom of the car they gave (2012 keep compass) was rusted, and many other issues. they passed the inspection knowing it obviously was a danger. when I approached them about it they thought I was lying. I *LOVE* my Ford cars. I've purchased two and leased one from Healey in the last six years. The buying experience was great- had a great salesman, got a good deal and was generally very happy. However, terrible dealer service will prevent me from ever buying another Ford or Healey vehicle. Healey Ford's service department says they guarantee their work, but they do not. This summer, I brought my car in for repair. Picked it up, it wasn't fixed, and I had to bring it back again. Shortly after I picked it up the second time, the debris shield fell off while I was driving at speed. It was a *very* scary experience. I brought the car back to Healey but they said they weren't responsible for it. It's over $450 for a new one. Then, I brought my car in for an electrical problem. They identified the source of the problem, but curiously only repaired the wiring associated with the problem, and not the problem itself. Not 48 hours after I picked up the 'repaired' car, it failed again. Now, Healey wants another $600 to repair it again, but won't refund the $500 already paid. If they "guarantee" their work, should I not be refunded for the repair that failed, or have it fixed gratis? If they 'guarantee' their work, why am I paying for a second repair in two weeks? I am so very disappointed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this service department to anyone. Update: Healey called after I posted this review, however, all they did was try to convince me they were right. There was no offer to refund the failed repair, just an offer to "really" fix it this time. I have never worked with a repair shop that didn't stand by their work before, and this entire situation is incredibly disappointing. I will never purchase another car from Healey again, and it is 100% because of the repeatedly poor experiences I've had with the service department. read more

Healey Brothers run their business unethically. They sold my son a car but wouldn't take a deposit and said to come back in the morning to fill out paperwork and pick up the car at the same time. We needed my husband's signature to transfer registration to the new car. They assured my son the car was his and would be ready in the morning for pick up. We even called and said my husband was able to come tonight and the salesman said it wasn't needed that coming in the morning was fine. Then they sold the car for more money.....after officially closed for the night! Well the first time I dropped off truck they had it for four days with nothing being done and now the second time I have a scheduled one day fix it's been three days. Story number one- the guy that was helping you doesn't work here anymore . Story number two- two of our technicians got hurt Story number three- we overbooked Story number four- A part broke and we are overnighting a new one. This place uses classic Bait And Switch tactics. I received a notice offering me to trade in my 2017 Ford Fiesta for a brand new 2019 version of the same car for only approx $30 more a year. I called and spoke to a salesman ( at least he said he was ) and he said yes it was legit. I mentioned about the balance on my loan and he said that's all figured in. So how could I refuse. Well when I got there the salesman told me he didn't know how they could offer that since they have not had any of those models in their location for months! Then he offered to sell me a 2017 used car for that price. I told him I already owned a used car! Then he said he had nothing except a Mitsubishi but it would be more. I told him what I was told and he said I didn't speak to a salesman that the call is routed somewhere else. So I said so basically what you're telling me this was just a Bait and Switch scam. He was speaking only and directly to my boyfriend who WAS NOT purchasing this car, I was. He was laughing and brushing off all of our questions as if he was too good to give us a real answer (truth is, he has no idea what he's talking about.) He messed up my paperwork and transaction and while I was away on a business trip I was getting left threatening voicemails from Mr. MJ about how they were going to have to report the car stolen. The car I had just OVERPAID for anyway. The dealership took no responsibility for this man's mistakes and said "we're just a laidback place and some people love MJ and some people hate him" that's it?! Every time I bring my car here to fix an issue a new one arises that I NEVER had in the past. I baby my car. I brought my car in for an O2 sensor change, when I picked it up there was a major leak in the AWD system which cost $3500 to repair. When I picked it up again after that was fixed there where 4 new engine codes showing up I've never seen before. You can tell that they appreciate the customers and value the time and money they spend on their vehicles and maintenance. Wait time is often kept to a minimum. Terrible customer service in the Service department. I bought the used vehicle from them. Every time there's something I need , I'm told they don't fix it. I made an appointment for an oil change 10 days ago. I'm told at the appointment they don't have the oil filter!!! I mean correct me if I'm wrong.... They had TEN days to get the filter. Passive aggressive when speaking to me. No thank you. I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere when it's time to purchase a different car. If you don't want to service off brands then don't sell them. I was told at time of purchase that I would always be able to get the vehicle serviced there. They'll tell you anything to get a sale. I have been going to Freedom ford in Beacon NY For over 12 years and my 2014 F150 is the 3rd truck that I have brought to them for service . I never had a problem with the service dept and Derrick the service guy was fantastic behind the counter . Pleasant , knowledgeable and honest . In 2019 Freedom ford was purchased by Healy Bros. and the Dealership is not the same . Some of the guys behind the service counter are honest and others will try to rip you off . I had a problem with tire sensors and instead of replacing all four Brandon had the mechanics take the time to figure out the faulty one and replaced the one bad sensor saving me $$ . On January 4th I took the truck in for a vibration in the front end , service guy Brian says I need new front bakes , ok do brakes and oil change . When I pick the truck up he also tells me I need new L/F Axle replacement $559 , Rear parking brake E repairs $795 , drive belts W/Tensioner $423 ,Spark plugs and boots $640 , fuel cleaning $195 . The red flag that told me I was getting ripped off was when I told him I had plugs changed and these plugs only had 32,000miles on them . His response was ford recommends changing them every 30,000 mile with a high mileage vehicle , my truck has 137,000 miles on it . Spoke to a friend who is a Ford certified mechanic at a dealership in Connecticut , told him the story and he laughed , should be good for another 100,000 miles he said . I Took truck to Absolutely Automotive in Marlboro ( fantastic guys ) , asked them to look at brakes and everything else . $231 to fix emergency brake and laughed at spark plugs , said I should be good for another 100,000 miles on plugs and everything else looked good . My 4 wheel drive stopped working so today March 30th 2022 , just out of curiosity I took my truck to Friendly Ford in Poughkeepsie where my wife bought her ford and has it serviced at . Service advisor Lauren was very pleasant and Knowledgeable . Mechanics Found Vac solenoid stuck open , a $329 fix . I asked her if they found anything else , she said no and truck is in really nice shape . I then asked her about the spark plugs and she laughed , said I should get 100,000 miles out of a set spark plugs . After going through my records I also believe on July 13th 2021 serviceman Brian did get me for a $3055 manifold and loose hub job but can not prove it . I am in the market for a new F150 and spoke to salesman Ted , the only original salesman from Freedom Ford , and he has an appraisal done on my truck for $15,000 trade in . They had a truck at their Goshen dealership but this was only my first stop look shopping around . I got 3 other appraisals for $16,500 , $17,500 and $18,000 at Ford dealerships that also had trucks on the lot and the best Healy would do was $16,500 . KBB list my truck in very good condition between $17,500 and $21,000 . In the last 2 years I have spent over $11,000 dollars in service ( some of this I now question ) , I have been a loyal service customer to this establishment long before it was Healy bros , My father retired from Ford ( Mahwah Assembly plant ) and I own Ford stock . I have all receipts to back up this review . Feeling extremely insulted by this dealership . This was a much better place when it was Freedom Ford . read more

I leased a car from Healey Brothers in 2018 at the end of the lease I was so happy with the unit I decided to purchase it from the dealership I went in and spoke with an agent who seemed to be able to help me however it turns out I wasnt really helped at all on speaking with the Finance manager who asked me who I had considered for an extended warranty I informed him I was going with ( Ford Protect) he discouraged that option and indicated they were not really a Ford Company he suggested another company (First Automotive in New Mexico) ,it turns out this company doesn't cover anything on my car not even the airbags since reading the contract I have been unable to reach the Finance Manager Shawn Wilhelm at HEALEY FORD to get some answers.I neglected to add this transaction took place on 11/3/2021needless to say I'm not a happy customer!! read more

Terrible service department! I've had an ongoing vibration issue that they cannot find the fix for. I've had my car here about 4 different times for the same issue and they just throw parts or claim they cannot duplicate it. I had to call Lincoln corporate and open a case. I'm now taking my car to a different dealer. Also communication is terrible here with the service advisors. They don't always answer or call back with updates. On 4/24/17, I purchased a pre-owned Ford F-150 pickup truck from Healey Brothers. The vehicle was in terrific condition, I got a good trade in value for my old car, and I was able to negotiate a "few extras." What's sets this dealership apart from most others is the staff; my salesman Angel was polite, knowledgeable, and straightforward. The sales manager Gil put the icing on the cake & made certain the sale went as smoothly as possible. Gil always answered my calls immediately or called me right back. The finance manager "MJ" is a bit nervous/high strung but smart & did his part to make the buying process a success. Terrible experience. Senior parents needed a new car and wanted a Ford dealership near Middletown, NY. Felt like they were absolutely trying to take advantage of older patrons. Thank goodness we went with them. The salesman was nice enough but the woman who was the sales manager was rude and dismissive. Never have we been so disrespected when purchasing a car....and I suspect that is saying something. 30 cars of same style on lot and they wouldn't budge on price at all even though purchase averages in area were much lower. Drove 15 miles away to Warwick Ford dealership and got a great deal with great staff. Do not go to Healy unless you want to be belittled and disrespected. read more

Wow is all I can say. I seen a car on the internet that I was very interested in, that happened to be on your lot. I contacted, first Diamond, then Karina and tried to work a deal for the car. You were unable to get a payment I could afford, so I moved on. I went to another dealership that could sell me the car for what I could afford but when they contacted you to try and get the car you would not let them have it. WHY? Isn't the idea to sell cars? I have been purchasing Ford's for over 35+ years and several of my vehicles have come from other dealers, why not you? That is the most unprofessional thing I have heard of. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, so I called and asked to speak with the Sales Manager and was told he was on the phone, I said ok, then may I speak with the General Manager and guess what, he is also on the phone. Are you kidding me! You won't even take my call. Why? Last year I decided to buy a Ford Edge for my wife at this dealer. So this year I decided to upgrade my truck and Went back thinking that I would be treated the same way. Unfortunately I was wrong. After making a deal with my salesman on the new truck which was with a 1500.00 incentive from Ford at there closing office were they try to sell you everything from waxing your new car to a extended warranties with a lot of fast talking they added back the 1500.00 incentive which changed the selling price. I thought this was very underhanded. And called two times trying to solve the problem. I have recommended friends to this dealer and also bought two cars from them never got any kind of call back. I noticed the sales person I worked with in the past was no longer working they said she retired. Now that there are new people in the sales department it looks like things have changed. The sales and management team lack the ability to mend and resolve problems that may come up during and after a sale. Their inability to support a culture that represents true sales that benefits both parties is not in their reach. Treating loyal customers who had purchased Five vehicles and used their service department through their ownership should be a cherished asset.
