Visitors could only feed the animals through a fence, which was not what we expected. Customer service was also very poor. When we arrived, the woman working only asked how many feed bags we wanted and did not engage with us further. The next interaction we had was when she yelled at us because people were having a meeting next door. We completely understand the need to be respectful of others, but her approach was rude and unprofessional. My daughter was especially disappointed because she was looking forward to interacting with the animals. Additionally, many of the animals appeared dirty and did not look well cared for, which was concerning. Overall, this experience did not match the description of a petting zoo, and the lack of customer service made the visit even less enjoyable. Unfortunately, we would not recommend it.

The new location at the Chandler Gilbert Community College is basically an asphalt parking lot, which takes away the whole charm of the experience. We arrived, saw the no-dogs sign, and then saw that the market was set up on hot asphalt in the sun, so we turned around and left. That was especially frustrating after making the trip, since the old downtown location was so much more inviting and enjoyable. It is a shame they moved it from downtown Gilbert to a parking lot setting. The old location felt like a community event. This one just didn't.

Over the years, I've seen a lot of changes at both stores, but the Apache Junction location has really stepped up its game while still maintaining the hometown atmosphere that has kept me coming back for so many years. On my most recent visit, Michael Ray provided outstanding customer service. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the produce department, including delivery schedules for seasonal items, and was familiar with products throughout the store. When I asked for help picking out a watermelon for a party, he didn't just point me in the right direction--he took the time to dig through the display to find the biggest and best one. It was a huge hit with everyone, and I truly appreciated the extra effort he put into making sure I left with exactly what I needed. Michael Ray has been a wonderful addition to an already outstanding staff. Employees like him are the reason customers continue to come back year after year. His knowledge, willingness to help, and genuine commitment to customer service reflect the values that make Superstition Ranch Market such a special place to shop. I honestly didn't expect anything from this company as I haven't heard about them before but this candle smelled sooo good. I got the "A lil suga on top" candle before I lit the candle it smelled good but after I lit it the smell filled the room. And the jar it came in was super cute. Next one i'm going to get is the "Going on a vaca" candle.
