Superstition Ranch Market has quickly become one of our favorite places to shop for produce and those random one-off grocery finds you didn't even know you needed! The deals here are seriously hard to beat. We recently picked up two pomegranates for just $1.50, and that's just one example of the kind of value you can find throughout the store. They have a ton of variety at prices that make you want to stock up. The produce section is one of the biggest standouts for us. They have a great selection of fresh fruits, berries, vegetables, peppers, potatoes, and so much more. Everything was well-stocked, clean, and organized, which makes shopping here really enjoyable. They also carry organic options, fresh honey from local vendors, frozen meats, and plenty of other grocery staples. Then there's the fun part of the store--the random overstock and closeout items from other vendors. You never really know what you're going to find! During our visit, they had things like Alani drinks, Liquid Death, and a bunch of other items that made browsing just as fun as actually grocery shopping. So if you like farmers markets, this is a little gem. They have a selection of just about everything from berries to fruits and even some meat products. Everything seemed pretty fresh. Some of the berries and strawberries you do need to take a good look at as they're a little over ripened. As far as vegetables, they're very well stocked and everything there was very fresh. The prices were very good and so much cheaper than regular grocery stores. I guarantee this place will be in my regular rotation. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I love vegetables and can't believe I have never been here! I was shocked and delighted with how cheap fruits and vegetables are here. Got here around 9AM and I was surprised at how busy they were. I can't imagine how busy they get on the weekends. The selection is huge and the prices are a fraction of what I've been paying at my local grocery store. For example, I had just bought a pound of cherries at Fry's for $5.99/lb and they're only $1 for 2 lbs here and a very small bunch of broccolini is $2.99 at Fry's and a bunch double the size is $1.50 here! I can't believe I've been missing out for so long. Well, better late than never I guess. I love fruits and vegetables and I'm happy to just eat vegetables for a meal so this is such a great find for me. They also carry a lot of local honey, specialty foods, and deli items. What was interesting is that they have a ton of bulk style foods such as nuts, candies, dried fruits, beans and grains pre-portioned into clear plastic tubs. I did find that the raspberries and blackberries were too ripe so hubby and I ate them right away. Everything else was just fine. Definitely will be a regular stop for me. read more

If you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, bake, can, make dog food, etc. this is the place to get your ingredients. Now keep in mind that these fruits and veggies your will want to use, prep or freeze within a few days because a lot do go bad quicker then if you buy at a regular grocery store. Some of the produce comes from local farmers and doesn't have the sprays store brought foods do to keep them usable longer. The prices are amazing. They also sell Raw Milk, local salsa, dry goods, meats, drinks, baked goods and snacks. The staff is always visible working hard stocking the shelves. Great place to start your grocery shopping. Wonderful for ingredients for charcuterie boards. I make my dogs food and snacks and this place saves me so much money on my ingredients. So glad they exist and have 2 locations in the east valley. read more

This location is actually recommended as a stop en route to another yelp location so while I was reading the reviews for that, I saw the suggestion for this. Isn't Yelp great? I was so glad we found this place. They had great prices and a fantastic selection of produce, especially for the size of the store. They had so much on offer there were huge boxes in the parking area full of overflow produce and the variety was impressive. We found everything we needed and more (they had some good snacks I had to grab even though it wasn't what we came for) and we could not believe the bargains we got. Your dollar really goes a long way here. The store was neatly organized and cute inside. Also, because it's a smaller market, we were in and out in no time. It's busy, but not crowded and there are plenty of employees to help so no long lines. You could not ask for a better stop for produce! read more

I do not live close to either of their locations so I unfortunately do not get to visit as often as I would like. However, my mother does live within 15 minutes of this location, so when we visit her, I like to stop by for some produce and other items. The veggies I generally find to be in pretty good condition, the fruit can depend on what time of day you go. I've gone closer to closing when a lot of the nicer looking fruit was snatched up & a lot of the bruised/squished containers are left behind. However, when I go earlier everything looks fresh & tasty. The prices are fantastic, way better than most of the groceries stores around the valley. I like that they also sell regular food items like meats, cheese, chips, drinks and more. The pickled section of goodies is lovely as well. As mentioned, they generally have pretty good prices, however a few things are a little "pricier" so the total can sneak up on you, if you aren't paying attention. For example, they have a wall of candy & chocolates, the chocolates sounded like a nice treat, so I grabbed two or three from a few flavors that sounded good and was surprised when it came out to $12 as the weight didn't feel like that much to me. When grabbing some of the items in the little room off of where the lettuce & such is, make sure to double check the dates before buying anything. When I was there a few days ago, I noticed they had some Halloween toll house cookie dough & almost grabbed it, but then noticed it expired recently. Other than that, I've never had any issues with the products I've purchased there. I love that they carry one of my favorite local lemonade brands (AZ lemonade stand). My friend Paula loves this place and I knew I had to check it out when I close by. They have fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, canned goods etc. It was BUSY and the aisles are hard to squeeze a cart through. There is so much to look at and we bought some apples which were HUGE, grapes and a blueberry loaf. The prices are cheap and the produce all looked fresh. I wish we had a store on the west side. YA'LL. Let me put you on this amazing place! Local produce worth your buck. Tons of Strawberries, grapes, tomatoes, cheese, and tons of bread to choose from. It's been 10 years since I have been here and as soon as you walk in, you are met with all the goods within steps of the entrance. These are local farmers and bakers who make it perfect to start fresh sandwiches. Make it fun and cook at home. The service was quick and simple the clerks were so nice. Now that the summer is coming they do sell ice and water. $2-$3. Major kudos for playing some throwback hits as the music. They have such a great option of fresh and local produce, a variety of unique seasongs, salsa's hot sauces, candy, and so much more! I've been a dedicated regular at this store since 1983, and will gladly continue. I love everything about the store: employees, variety, quantity and quality. Oh, did I mention price? Cause that's a big one! I just wish I could use my insurance company's benefit card there. I shop for all kinds of things at the store like produce of course, the big variety of spices and seasonings, a variety of breads, Cerreta candy, flour and corn tortillas and local honey. My cart is often full, as my granddaughters now love the store as well. They act like the fruits are candy, and just love them. They start eating on the way home. You can also buy cases of just about any of the fruits and veggies. When my daughter was a baby, I bought the raw food there and made my own baby food. My whole family shops here as well. In fact, my nephew needed a store where he could film part of a movie in, and chose Superstition Ranch, because of his familiarity with the store, shopping there with my sister as a kid. This store is a big part of my family in many different ways! That's how loyal we have become over the years. I list it as one my favorite places to shop. My family loves Superstition Ranch Market! We go on nearly a weekly basis for seasonal food at an incredible price. At a time where groceries are ever-increasing in price, it's nice to have somewhere where I can buy as many fruits and veggies as my kids ask for. Their selection does change often so I wouldn't recommend going if there's just one thing that you really need, we go more with an open mind and let the selection guide us. Superstion Ranch Market is truly 5*. I can't recall any thing less through them in probably 40 years? Simply stated, it is really a people's market. I am nothing remotely close to being an expert. I not seen anything that ever looked to be be less than in excellent condition. For this reviewer I perceive them as great communicators. I have been assisted by every employee be it cashier, people bringing out produce to the manager. I spoke with him one time, years ago, on the phone, and he encouraged me, to say hello to him, in a future visit. Best quality, variety, excellent store condition, good pricing, fast, friendly, highly efficient cashiers. I drive considerable distance knowing of Superstition consistency especially. Busy market but never a problem parking or moving a cart through the market. Bagging is always sensibly accomplished. At many other stores my common mental complaint is illogical bagging. The shopping carts are always in good repair. What ever they do the do it well. It is easy to drive in and out of the parking lot. Other customers are friendly. read more

They supplied Superstition brand herbs, bread from local bakeries, and bulk candy. Atmosphere - Nice local farmers market. Plenty of parking. Self service ice machine. Service - Good, friendly. Price - Ridiculous low prices! Cheaper than my favorite produce supermarket in Oakland, Cardenas. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your 2 locations since 1966.
