I've had experiences with several chiropractors in many areas of the U.S. including a dear friend when I lived across the country. He told me many years ago what to look for (and stay away from) in a chiropractor. Most have told me they want to see me 3-4 times a week for 8-10 weeks, etc., and one even wanted me to sign a "contract" agreeing to these terms. At Healing Hands, Dr. Misty took the time to read my medical history and have a quality conversation about my wellness and gave me credit for things I was already doing on my own for relief and suggested a couple of other things I could do to relieve stress and back tension for long term relief. I had a massage by Tony, and have to say that I wasn't impressed. Just didn't have the touch. I was going to purchase two groupons for my wife and myself, and the receptionist just said to come in and pay them directly, so I did. It was supposed to be an hour long aromatherapy massage. There was no aromatherapy. (Unless cheap icy/hot counts) The room was small and clean, but pretty sparse. That was at least better than the chiro patients, who were being adjusted right out in the open - adjacent to the waiting room chairs (btw - I watched about 5-6 of these patients and they all got nearly identical treatment, so I guess its a one size fits all kind of thing). Tony didn't use a large variety of strokes, I actually got bored. It was supposed to be a nice prelude to an anniversary date, but I just ended up feeling man handled. read more

I have seen Dr Misty and Dr Nicholas and am very happy with the results. Both are very caring and are sensitive to my needs. I am feeling so much better and highly recommend them. Everyone is the practice is very friendly and professional. They offer packages for chiropractic care and massage; both are very reasonable and affordable. I also highly recommend Bethany for massage. I have been seeing her for a few months and am so glad I found her! She has helped me in ways no other therapist has been able to. She is very accommodating in my scheduling and working the areas that need help. I am a retired massage therapist and am particular about who I see for bodywork. Dr. Misty is my main Dr., however I had Dr. Nicholas once. Both are excellent, caring, & knowledgeable. I've gotten chiropractic treatments for years & paid the traditional high prices for appointments. I LOVE being able to simply walk-in when I need a treatment & not have to pay an exorbitant price because of medical insurance & records. I also LOVE the ability to buy multi-treatment packages. I starting getting massages at Healing Hands (Glendale) with a Groupon in August 2017 and have been going every month since. I have had massages from all over the world, and Tony is one of the best. He is kind and caring and gives helpful information to make my massage provide the most benefits. Dr. Misty is incredible. She has a way of talking to you and telling you what you need that makes you feel so comfortable.
