At the initial consultation, The doctor explained that stroke treatments are most effective within a month of the onset. Since it's just a been little over a month for my mom, he thought we should start her treatments aggressively at the rate of 4 times per week. After 3 weeks, there were noticeable improvements in her memory and speech pattern. We continued treatments for my Mom's other health issues as well. One thing I should note is that the doctor is very focused and task oriented. You need to ask him your questions or let him know about your concerns, not just waiting for him to speak to you.
