I learn so much from Dr Bruno. Regenesis has been an integral part of my successful journey of overcoming lupus, staying off meds and living a pain free, happy life. I am actually healthier than most of the people I know that have never had any health issues. That says a lot given my "death sentence" that my Western doctors said I won't live past 26. I was bedridden for a year after my first flare at 21 and on a ridiculous amount of meds for a 21 year old. I was in so much pain and couldn't even remember my doctors appointments. I had no dreams, no motivation and it was just a dark time of no hope. I couldn't even button up my blouse (even I had the energy to change clothes at all) and showering was like climbing Mount Everest. As of this writing, I'm 33 and living the life. I could go to work (even have a job feels like a blessing!), I could remember everything like a normal person, and I could enjoy life for what it is. It was clear she didn't want to be there, and she made no effort to hide it. Her attitude was rude, cold, and dismissive from the start. What made this worse was how rough and aggressive she was during the procedure. As someone experiencing this for the first time, I expected care and guidance, but instead, I was left feeling violated. She shoved the hose in without gentleness or explanation, which made the process not only uncomfortable, but extremely painful. I didn't even receive the full session I was promised--she included the time I used the restroom as part of the session, which felt like a way to rush me out. I also debated canceling when I saw the condition of the place and her attitude, but the $75 cancellation fee left me feeling pressured to go through with it. What was supposed to be a self-care moment turned into an emotionally draining and physically painful experience. He also said sometimes he wishes he could fake symptoms to get scans so he could rule out anything serious. That made me tear up and I told him that I am not faking symptoms to get scans - he immediately said he wasn't implying that. Just that I'm lucky to know it's not cancer or something more serious. My father has stage 3 colon cancer , my best friend has breast cancer, my work supervisor and friend"s mom has stage 4 brain cancer - so yes, I agree it's great a CT scan did not show any signs of that. Said I should come back if this gets worse (I went to see him because it was getting worse and my PCP had told me maybe I just needed a vacation). He visited me daily. I like his bedside manner, He is caring but very confident and gives explicit directions on follow up care. Prior to surgery he gave me a very good picture of what to expect. He even advised there was a YouTube video that I could observe on the procedure he would be doing. He did not require any gastric surgery to be done when I had this repair unlike another surgeon where I was being treated prior. I'm larger than the average guy and so it ended up taking nearly the entire 16 gallons to clean things out, but clean me out it did. A quick walk to the endoscopy center where they were waiting and a couple hours later everything was all said and done.
