Having just turned 60 in March 2025, I began working with Rob in conjunction with my ongoing efforts to get healthy and wean myself off psychiatric meds and other substances, which I've used for most of my life to control social anxiety. I had started this process at the beginning of the year and had very few issues until late February when it suddenly felt like the wheels had come off and I began to experience an immense amount of physical and emotional discomfort. I honestly did not know what to expect with Rob but, after meeting the first time, I found that he was not only extremely knowledgeable in a lot of areas, but that we were also very much in alignment about our approach to health - specifically, the need to heal through natural means. Even so, I was not prepared for the level of success that followed. He assured me that most of the withdrawal symptoms I was experiencing could be reduced or eliminated with some simple cardio activity 15 minutes per day. This was a bit difficult at first but the results were immediate. After a week or so, I actually looked forward to it because I was feeling so good, my energies levels were up, and I was beginning to look much healthier than I had in a long time. Our subsequent sessions focused on other areas - sleeping habits, meditation, eating, even socializing - all of which were extremely helpful in supporting my body and mind as they realigned and adjusted to my new regimes. One of my biggest surprises, since I hadn't even set out to do this, was my weight loss and elimination of joint pain and muscle fatigue, apparently as the result of following his recommendation to go gluten free. I had already lost about 8 lbs since the first of the year (I started the year around 220 lbs) but, upon going gluten free, the extra pounds just rolled off of me. By late May, I was down to 185 and suddenly felt like I had the energy I had at 30 - and NO JOINT PAIN whatsoever. I could do heavy yard work all weekend and feel only mild muscle pain the next day! FYI, I'm now at 175, my "ideal weight" according to the medical charts. Rob has an amazing amount of knowledge - far beyond just physical therapy - and he has had life experiences that demonstrate the effectiveness of these concepts. His wealth of knowledge makes him an amazing resource and very enjoyable to talk to. Rob helped me with a very uncomfortable tingling sensation, actually electric shocks going down my legs. Evaluated which muscles were tight, was shown ways to stretch. I kept up on the stretching every night. Was not a one-time thing. I had a choice, dedicated stretching or surgery. I'm golfing again! I'm so glad I went to him first as doctors are so quick to X-ray and put you under the knife. I know several people who have had back surgery, and it turns into two, three, four, and you're never the same again. read more

Wow, Rob at Healix Therapy is pretty dang gifted for sure. His business is also a great model, as he comes to you. As a busy business owner, it's hard to get out of the office and Rob makes it extremely easy. Not only did rob discuss my knee issues which was actually coming from my ankle... so weird, he also talked with me about a few approaches to alternative medicines as well that may improve movement. Rob is the real deal! I was vacationing in Sacramento and my back began to act up. I yelped physical therapy and I came across Healix. Rob went to my hotel room and was able to immediately reduce my back pain. His main technique is Ayurveda (first time trying this) and it's completely changed my view in my health and wellness. I highly recommend Rob at Healix. After months of experiencing pain in my neck and shoulder with limited mobility Rob had me feeling 100% after one treatment. I had already tried massage, a chiropractor and who knows how much ibuprofen with no relief. Rob is a very gifted Physical Therapist. I have had chronic neck pain for years after two neck surgeries. In his evaluation he looked at more than just my neck and discovered my mid back was not moving well and I needed to correct my posture. He takes his time and gets down to the source of your problem.
