AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This place is a must miss. Went in for facial and the aesthetician that provided it was wonderful. It was the best facial I've ever had. After the facial, though, I had to interact with the owner. He was smoking a cigarette as I approached. Unfortunately, the smell of the cigarette permeated the entire spa. He was rude and degrading, obviously had a derogatory attitude towards women. How can you own a business geared at women and hate them at the same time? Despite this, I finally paid and gladly left. Later I called to schedule another facial with the aesthetician that did my last one and was told she was no longer with the clinic. I asked where I could find her because I definitely wanted to go back to her. Again, I was talking to Owner and he said I don't know where she is and I wouldn't tell you even if I did. After researching reviews online, I realize what a mistake I made going to this spa in the first place. It seems that they have a very high turnover in staff, which is not surprising given the attitude of the owner that I talk to. I will find this sweet aesthetician wherever she happens to be working and go back to her for another one of her wonderful facials. I completed my series of laser hair removal treatments and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! I saw results after the first treatment! It didn't even hurt! Laura always explained everything thoroughly, was very gentle and attentive during each session, and worked quickly but efficiently each time. I was in and out in maybe 15 min or less. If you've ever had a Brazilian wax, know that BW pain is significantly more painful, more expensive, with longer appointments, and has short lived results as compared to laser treatments. Laser is the way to go! Laura is the best! Love being hair-free with baby soft skin! I've also had a few sessions for teeth whitening with Han and she provides excellent service! She's also attentive, explains everything, and is very meticulous about her work. My teeth are so much whiter and vibrant! Wow! I've received so many compliments from friends and strangers! I really liked the staff and technicians which is a shame because I paid for, and endured the pain and discomfort of a full body laser package, and within about a year and a half all the hair came back. Every area we treated multiple times even. Sorry to say this, as the staff were awesome but it was unfortunately ineffective treatment, even for areas that are commonly easy to treat, like legs. read more

This office keeps messing up my appointments. I had an appointment and received two confirmations. But the office was closed for a week. No one called me to say that they were closed. Now I get another confirmation for an appointment scheduled for Thursday. We are in the middle of a hurricane!! What is wrong with this place?!? I only gave 3 stars because of what's happening lately. I'm not sure if there's new management or a new owner but I have not been happy lately. First of all, someone keeps calling me to verify and then change my appointment. She called me about 4 times! I kept telling her that we already verified my appointment but then the 3rd time she said she had to change it. And then the last time she called to verify it again. It was very annoying since I was at work every time she called. Then, when I came in to purchase a new laser service, they wrote down my credit card # on a piece of paper and was calling it in at a later time. I was very unhappy about that! Turns out, the person who was charging my card, kept entering it wrong and insisted it was invalid, which it was not. She tried to tell me that I was confusing her and myself. Clearly I was not the one who was confused. She should have been nicer. Especially since I just purchased another laser package. Anyway, I love my laser treatments and my technician Maria. I have received treatments from other places in the past, but this is the first time I've seen such amazing results in such a short period of time. They're using the best and most up to date technology, and it really shows. The staff are kind and courteous. The atmosphere is very soothing, with plants, flowing water, and soft lighting. My only complaint is that it can be hard to find reasonable appointment times. I started laser hair removal with Ashley, but after she was arrested I called and called with no return calls, 4 MORE weeks went by. They finally got a new laser removal lady who told me the reason my hair removal didn't work before is because the old tech was doing it wrong . I have tried 42 times to reach a manager or owner , with empty promises of calling me back. so I spent $800 to have laser hair removal only to be told because of the hair growth pattern I would have to start all over at my own expense . Amazing environment, very comfortable and inviting as soon as you walk in you are welcomed by smiling faces offering you beverages. They have a gorgeous waterfall in the office!! The doctor herself showed me around the whole office and gave me brief explanations of their services. I am going to tighten some skin around my midsection from having a baby that I am extremely self conscious about but she made me feel like I knew her forever telling me about her pregnancy experience and how she got through everything. I bought a groupon for underarm removal, liked the tech who did the service. She also sold me another service the Brazilian. I noticed the underarms wasn't working so the tech said she would give me a few free treatments. Well on the other service I was having the same issue and had a number of appts rescheduled due to holidays, deaths, breakups, etc. Still complaining to my tech. Then she was arrested. Appts cancelled not a new tech so no services while this went on. I called about 20 times before someone called back and basicly told me I would have to repay for my services. I went to another appt my last paid on, the new tech said that my treatments were done wrong in the first place and that I would have to pay for any additional treatments. I was also told the owner thinks that because we didn't complain to her we now want something free because the other tech was on the news. I don't want anything free I want to be hair free like I paid for. I have spent over 600 on just me at this place and still have to shave like I did before. I referred numerous other people here. The owner refuses to answer any messages or call you back, the service you get is less then desirable. I would NEVER SPEND A DIME HERE. The owner really must to run this business in the ground as I have been calling for 2 months and nothing but a tech calling me. Health & Medspa in Clearwater is very clean and relaxing. I started with a discounted laser treatment package, but since then have purchased 2 more packages, with significant and worthwhile results. Laura is great and very caring, like a good friend, and explains everything she's doing. I've never had any lasting discomfort or even redness longer than a few minutes. The front desk staff is very nice, too, always offering coffee or tea, and I've only once had to wait more than a minute or two past my appointment time! Very nice. I have regular massage therapy for chronic neck and shoulder pain and she was amongst the best I have ever had.
