Worst service every. They ask for payment before service and ask to include the tip. I was overdue for a massage and just went ahead and did it. This was around 7:30pm. Once they received the payment the said "oh it's late can you come back tomorrow" I asked why I was being charged if they didn't intend on providing the service. They said they never got the payment when in fact they did. I was frustrated and walked out after they said use it as a credit. Three days later I return around 3pm. At first they tried to refuse the credit. Once they decided to follow through with what they were supposed to, the left me on the massage table for 30 minutes while they all had conversation at the front. I got up, got dressed and left. After I wrote this review we visited a few more times. The last time I made an appointment for 3, because my best friend was in town visiting from NYC. When we arrived they told 2 of us to go in, and the 3 would start in a couple minutes. At the end of my massage they were just starting on my friend that was visiting. Meaning they had him waiting there and hour, and then expected us to wait an hour for him to finish. I was very upset with them. So they offered a 4 hand massage for 30 minutes, which was not better, and still charged us full price. After that we never went to them again. Don't use them. Massage mill. Worthwhile Spa typically has 3-4 therapists available and all are very friendly Chinese women. Menu consists of several massage style offerings and length of massage. Spa staff truly gives a professional massage (frankly much better than Massage Envy). My preference is the 90 minute massage with oil followed by hot stones, then a table bath and a 5 minute foot massage. Overall, they provide very relaxing massages. This place is a scam. They have advertised a 60 minute acupressure, Chinese Tui Na,or Meridian massage with hot stone treatment for $40.00. I called before I drove 40+ minutes to get to the place and they said yes and agreed to the price. I get there,the one woman pretends she doesnt speak English and makes me sit and wait 38 minutes. I call to the back room to find out what the hell is going on. She says 2 minutes and goes back behind the drawn curtain. I go back in the waiting room, a Chinese woman comes thru the front business door,asks me what I wanted. I told her and showed her the advertising special they have posted on site Social Living and she pretends to not understand English. I use Google Translate, she reads it in Chinese and hears the words being spoken to her in Chinese, then says to me,I dont understand. She calls her boss after she had claimed to me she was the owner of the business. That person says my massage is $60.00,not $40.00. Steer clear away from this shady business. I would not have the $45 massage because it's a gentle type of massage that will not help my neck and back pains. I went here for ages and overall it was fine. I'd have given it 3-3.5 stars when I first started going. In the last year, I kept getting the same horrible woman, no matter what day or time I went. It was almost like she was the only one who worked there anymore. Her massage was just ok but my biggest complaint was a couple of time I only got what seemed like half a massage. I don't know if she just lost track of time or what but she forgot to tell me to turn over. This happened several times. I couldn't find a web site, so went in to make an appointment, and it turned out they could take me right then and there! One hour later, 95% of the tense muscles in my body are relaxed, and I feel such relief. If you want a good massage from someone who isn't afraid to make it hurt in the best way, with the strength to get to some of the toughest knots in muscle, give it a shot. You won't regret it. I tried them because of a great deal I got on Groupon. I liked that they scheduled a Sunday appointment but that was about all I liked. The picture on their website in no way describes what the interior looks like. The place is small with no decoration, no music playing, and no doors just hanging curtains for each of the massage areas. The young lady working that did my massage gave me very little direction and never introduced herself. Though she did had me a box of Kleenex when I pointed out the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom. In all honesty the only reason I am giving them one star is that she actually gave a very good massage with wonderful pressure. Its sad though that isn't enough to bring me back. read more

Very professional and really concentrates on the problem areas. It has been about a month since I last went there and I was extremely tense. When she started she started getting into areas that really needed the pressure released. People think that massage is more than what it is and I sure in some places it is, But at Worthwhile Spa, again, they are professional, very nice and attention to your needs. What a nightmare!! Trash. Rude, disrespectful, and racist!!! I found them on Groupon for a cheap massage price at $41 for one hour. It was perfect so I called and made an appointment. I was told to not pay on Groupon so I can pay at the location. I went in and paid the advertised price before my massage and the lady told me I'll have to pay a tip. No where on Groupon did it say I'll have to pay a required tip. The massage was decent but then after my hour was over she asked me again for a tip. I told her to charge $5 on my card and I lectured her about how tips are not required but its at the discretion of the customer. She proceded to be disrespectful and call me cheap. How am I cheap with my own money? Essentially they are forcing customers to pay a tip plus the advertised amount on Groupon which will be equivalent to the amount they usually charge customers. Absolutely the worst massages my husband and I have ever had. In fact, the entire overall experience was a horrible waste of time and money.

The Worthwhile SPA is classic bait and switch. After 3 times going to the spa, I finally got tired of the pumping for more money and mediocre massages. The masseuse will ask you how many minutes and each time I would reply - 60 minutes and they would say OK. Five minutes later, they will ask $80 massage? And I repeat $60. Then they ask again $80 again? This constant badgering to spend more money on a longer massage was irritating, because they'd stop the massage to ask questions that I made perfectly clear the first time that I was only willing to pay for 60 minutes. Then each time I asked for a firm massage, I felt like I was given a dishrag massage. This scenario played out with three different masseuses with each time, hoping that I find a better masseuse. The masseuses are obviously pressured from the owner to keep asking for more money. Good luck trying to get the $45 massage, the masseuse will keep telling you $60, even when they advertise $45. Purchased a $42 hr my choice massage on Group. Didn't realize this hidden jew exist in my neighborhood. When you walked in it felt like a spa, clean and nicely decorated with a soothing effect. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist and although I was early and the appointment before was late due to I95 traffic jam, my appt was push back. No problem for me not on a tight schedule and for my wait I was offered a hot foot soak. I normally go for the relaxing smells of various foot products but this was just a simple wooden tub with hot water a comfortable chair, tranquil room and I was totally relaxed by the time I got to the table. She had to wake me. Reading from previous reviewers and from past experiences I always select a deep tissue massage because the pressure varies depend on I guess masseuse endurance to sustain a hour of firm pressuring. Anyway I had to laugh as the reviewers stated, you are ask if you want to add other services, for me adding the hot stone was an excellent choice. This practice also occurs in nail salons. I thought I had experience a deep tissue massage but I stand corrected, not until Nikki worked out all the tightness and tension from my neck to lower back. She was attentive throughout in checking to see if the pressure was too much and when she finished I was not ready to get up. I still felt like I had a massage through the rest of the day and I believe she move a lot of toxics around. I always drink plenty of water after massages and believe me I need it after this one.
