Apple Pediatrics is a great doctors office for my children. Dr. Dawn Bertram-Stewart gives us the best care, that's evidence based, and takes into account our families unique needs. She always is willing to fit a child into her schedule, which is key if you ever need an urgent care visit you can see your regular pediatrician instead of someone who doesn't know your child. I am not going to say any names but the guy at the front desk has been VERY VERY RUDE (increased his voice tone, did not allow me to talk, and pretty much kicked me out of the office with no reason) when I asked him for a vaccination record of my son. Yes, just because of that. A couple of weeks ago he told us to come by and pick it up in a week, but when I went today - already two weeks after the request and even more, after having a call yesterday where he confirmed we can pick it up - all I got was his bad attitude. I have to mention that there was a couple of trainees at that moment, and one of them was very helpful and with a good customer service attitude. If you are looking for a good place to take your kids with good people who cares about customers look somewhere else, APPLE PEDIATRICS is not the place you are looking for. read more

I love this doctor. The staff was incredible when I needdd to leave the hospital with an appt for a Peditrician or I was not allowed to leave the hospital. I had to call Friday at almost 5pm and thank goodness Elsa answered the phone to help me! There is a major disconnect with hospitals not understanding that you can't book appointments that way. My daughter and son go here and she completely understands my exemptions from my children for no vaccines. She has never objected or argued with me which I was scared to death of! She is someone I appreciate taking my kids to. She is a great doctor and knew I had loss my twin and hugged me when she didn't have to care at all. I HIGHLY recommend read more

I happened upon Apple Pediatrics by chance. we now have 2 children who are both patients of Dr. Bertram. She has been spot on about her diagnosis and care of both children - saving life and limb of our youngest. My wife and I are both sub-specialty Physicians, and we are constantly reminded how easy it is to overthink, over diagnose and over treat the health of our children. I am a person with a heart condition, and my work takes me to multiple hospitals, airports, clinics, and places of public congregation every day. If I contract COVID-19 I could easily spread it to hundeds of others, unknowing, due to the nature of my work; and is more likely to kill me given my health condition. I was ejected from his clinic by the physician for wearing a breath mask to protect myself and others. He apparently found the appearance of protective equipment objectionable. I would think above all that a physician would have a better appreciation of the dangers of these times, and would value the safety of his staff, patients, and visitors; but this does not appear to be the case. This kind of cavalier outlook to health and wellbeing should be concerning to anyone who plans to visit this establishment, whether during the outbreak, or afterwards. read more

Realistic expectations. One thing I love about this doctor and staff, is that they don't sugar coat or baby people. If your kid is sick, and I mean really sick, they WILL do what they need to do. but if your being an over paranoid mom/dad she will totally let you know. I've taken all three of my kids to her and they love her, her and her staff are real. Plus she actually spends time with her patients not like hello goodbye here's some meds. Staff is pretty friendly, unfortunately my experience with the Dr has not been very pleasant my son has suffered from ear infections since birth. I asked her why is he getting so many in such short period of time (he is 18months) her answer was "he has only gotten 3 that's not too bad" which he has had more than 3 infections in his lifetime so they must not have there information correctly and on top of that the infections would happen in the same month! all she does is prescribe antibiotics. In case no one knew this your body becomes immune to them so of course it would not treat the problem! you would think if a child is having 2 or more infection in less in a month something must not be right and to mention his older brother has had the same issue. we went for a follow up and she said oh he still has a little fluid but it will be fine when we came home my child was not fine as a mother you know there is something wrong we took him back and my fiancee had to demand her to refer us to a specialist so he can get tubes, why should we have to tell the doctor what to do? point is we took him to the specialist and both of his ears were horribly filled with puss in the doctors words they were horrible he does not understand why hid DR. would let it get to such an extent. as also with his older brother I understand everyone makes mistakes and learns new things but 2 mistakes with the same family that's just not right i see it as pure negligence and laziness to not try and figure out the real issue. I do not recommend this doctor at all! she can probably cure a cold but further than that i don't think shes very in tune with her job shes just there because she gets paid. Now that my child has the tubes he is perfectly fine eating right and back to his normal self! My son will definitely not be back to this facility. read more
