Healthpointe Ontario needs and deserves recognition. One individual in particular Feliciano Lemos. I'd actually like feed back on how these yelp reviews work. Does the employee get an incentive or am I just wasting my time because this goes no where. I would like to be contacted as I'd like an answer to this. I've been coming here to treat the same chronic medical condition for years and I will continue to do so until my Dr. retires or I die. That is how much faith I have in the team of professionals that treat and take care of me the way they do. Yes I said until I die, I'm only 42 and I will only continue to get worse. Besides the psychological effects that come along with knowing that this is my lot in life, my condition is that serious - so this matters to me. I need know that this individual is getting the recognition he rightly deserves This is not a workman's comp case not that it should matter but I see the difference in the way people in the waiting room are treated and it's very sad. I bring this up because I wasn't sent there. I have private insurance and can go anywhere I want. I had been to other places in the beginning to try and find a suitable facility. I chose Healthpointe. My team consists of Dr. Allen and Feliciano Lemos in the medication department. The two go hand in hand. As I see it Dr. Allen has kept me going by working with me on various ways I can manage my limitations/disability/pain and although it's his duty, his compassion speaks volumes. He makes sure that I to a degree live a somewhat decent life despite my condition. There is no cure so he works with me to address my current issues, the unforeseeable issues and ultimately helps me to have a better quality of life. He is a very busy Dr. so then I work with Feliciano Lemos. He has time and time again proven to me that I matter and am comfortable and know everything I need to know about any changes made with my meds. He spends time to review my case to put my mind at ease and that my treatment plan under doctor supervision is being given a second set of eyes to bring me the confidence I need to continue my battle. I'm sure working directly with Dr. Allen as well as answering what he can to ensure that I am comfortable with any changes in medication goes a long way that may or may not get noticed. I need to know, because it should get noticed and I need to know how it gets noticed and or recognized. HIs efforts I am sure makes the Drs. job more efficient because Feliciano does the busy work that usually goes unnoticed to make sure the doctor can tend to his patients with out having someone like myself call or come in all the time hence taking more of the doctors time when he can be seeing more patients in need. Feliciano is good at what he does and treats me fair. I don't feel that he does more for me than any other patient. My husband even notices that Feliciano follows through and this is really important to us. If he says he will call back with an answer he does, even if he just calls back to tell me he needs more time to contact Dr. - so his follow through, knowledge and compassion means the world to us because I don't have to spend that extra time with Dr. on things Mr. Lemos goes out of his way to do "the busy work". The time I have with Dr. should not be spent on anything other than my treatments and condition nothing else. My time with Dr. is valuable and I appreciate that Feliciano makes sure my time with the doctor isn't wasted on things that should be delegated to others. This office is extremely disappointing. You can expect to wait for hours to be seen, and when you finally meet with the doctor, there is little to no physical examination. Instead, the doctor simply asks where your pain is and orders testing that you are responsible for scheduling yourself. The staff is also rude and unprofessional. I waited three weeks for a temporary handicap placard form to be completed, and despite the lengthy wait, the paperwork was never finished. If it takes three weeks to complete such a simple form, I can only imagine how long patients must wait for more important disability paperwork. I was sent to this clinic through workers comp. My diagnose was a torn meniscus. I was told by the doctor here at Health point that I would need an operation and steady injected me and my knee, which helped a little bit with a pain went there several times ended up not trusting him so I never had the operation. I'd like to start off with the parking. Unless you drive a Prius or have full coverage on your vehicle, don't even think about utilizing their parking lot. The congested space is beyond laughable. Let's get down to the office experience. On your initial appointment, they will ask you to get here 60 minutes prior to your appointment time. They will send you two different text messages. Upon arriving 60 minutes prior to your time, they will give you and massive packet to fill out. Why is it massive? Because the genius who put it together, didn't realize there are multiple pages requesting the same information. Just a complete waste of time. Not only are you here one hour prior to your appointment time but expect to wait an additional 30 to 40 minutes. I am here for my second appointment. My appointment was at 10:30am. I arrived at 10am despite the text message telling me to get here 60 minutes early. It is now 11:57am and the doctor comes in with a rude, "I'm in a hurry" attitude. Honestly, if I didn't absolutely HAVE to be here to get this shitty workers compensation case OVER WITH, I'd tell you to stay away from this location. read more

My appointment was at 3pm I got there at 2:48. From the time I walked in the ladies at the front desk were talking a laughing with one another. No one acknowledged me when I walked in, cool whatever. I sat down and waited 20 min, still my name had not been called. I walked up to the desk and asked about me seeing the doctor and they all looked at me like I was the issue. One girl went to the back to "check" and said I would be next. Magically after asking about my appointment my name was called. It should never take 20 minutes to be called for an appointment. The ladies up front need to be sent to the back because that was not front desk behavior. I'm all for having fun at work but professionalism comes first. I'm definitely seeing if I can go to another office and I would not recommend this office to anyone! read more

I generally go to the Corona facility. I was sent to Ontario because my Dr wanted an EMG test. I showed up 1 hour early as directed what for? I don't know. So I sat there with nothing to do but observe the staff and was appalled at the immature and unprofessional behavior of the staff. They were playing around and giggling which was obnoxious as hell. I over heard them bad mouthing someone not being very kind. Then I went in to see Dr for EMG. He was not friendly or engaging. I was uncomfortable, he didn't do or say anything disrespectful, it was a vibe. I was glad to get out of there. Hopefully I won't be sent there again. read more

Dr. Fritz and the staff here are absolutely phenomenal. We were cautious in finding the right surgeon for a very complex spine surgery but we were very lucky to have found Dr. Fritz. The surgeon is a no-nonsense, incredibly brilliant and very thorough and upfront with his analysis and outlook on our treatment plan. Dr. Fritz genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients which we saw first hand as he constantly checked on the recovery of my wife after surgery. It is truly a blessing we found this gentleman. I am often incredibly critical but this man deserves all this praise. The staff at this facility are incredibly kind, and genuine, and do a great job supporting their patients. read more

As always the front desk staff are rude as ever..They never aknowlege you even when they are sitting doing nothing...Ive been with this office for 7 plus years...Today I spoke with the office manager Maureen to complain about the staff who assigns appts...This is the 2nd time Ive been skipped over waiting to retrieve my appt...Im extremely observant to my surroundings and I know and watch what should be the proper protocol of doctors bringing out files and what order patients are suppose to be checked out so I can go on with my day....I gave a pass the first time this occurred but today I was quite annoyed...Do better organizing your duties...The staff that comes to greet you in the lobby are always on point and friendly...Dr Chappell is always kind and pleasant....He is always on time with his appts and apparently moves through his day swiftly.... read more

Today is another example of inconsiderate staff. Apparently, the doctor had emergency surgery this morning and all of the morning patients were pushed back to the afternoon. There are 2 people ahead of me. One has been waiting 2 hours, i have been waiting 1 1/2 hours. Medical clerks should have pre warned me when I arrived of the long waiting. I'm here for back injury. This long waiting is painful and frustrating! Dr. Berman and his staff in Ontario Health Pointe clinic have done this before to me. Last time I was here they called me half an hour for my appointment to see if I could get here sooner. I didn't get the message until after I arrived and the doctor had left already. Gas is expensive and my time is valuable too. Health Pointe clinic you need to teach your staff better bedside manners and keep your patients in the loop sooner if their appointments are running late. I don't reccomend this place, but unfortunately I am here for workman comp insurance. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The office ran additional tests without notifying me they were not apart of the visit. My insurance did not cover additional testing and now they're trying to charge me $500. When speaking to the "manager" about it she continuously cut me off when answering the questions SHE ASKED ME and then told me not to be rude when I asked her to let me finish one sentence before talking over me AGAIN. Absolutely unprofessional. There's no logical way I should be responsible for paying for tests they did not notify were additional charge. I will be disputing it and would not recommend this location to anyone. It's not a good part of town, the outside of the building is tagged, the parking situation is terrible, and the inside needs some attention as well. I called to let the office now that I was late for my appointment and I needed a new appointment scheduled. I was able to get a new appointment over the phone but I was worried that my employer would be upset that I had no document to show that I did reschedule. I know I was late but I was relieved that the office was still open when I arrived. When I arrived Ms. Yesenia Lopez and Ana were still working and I asked them if I could please get something in writing to show my employer my new scheduled appontment. I highly reccommend seeing the doctors here in this office, the front desk girls Ana and Sabrina are so kind and respectful. When i went into the apt. with my husband they made sure I was comfortable due to the wait. They offered waters and offered to change the news to any other channel for me. The wait was a little over an hour so them being so attentive was a nice thing. Calling into the office is always a struggle but they are always so helpful once you get thru call center. Worst staff in this office. Doctor forgot to submit my prescription and this is a medication You can't just stop taking or you'll end up in the ER. This has happened 3X now. Horrible experience at this workers comp Dr. My mother didn't even see Dr Etemad after waiting over 2 months for an appointment. She is not very good at communicating her pains from her injuries and not always remembers to describe everything thoroughly. I'm her advocate. I'm healthy, following all their rules with masks and not to mention I am her daughter. Should be no problem right? She's not having surgery in a sterile room. My medical is a workers comp case. It took me over 2 months just to get an appointment. The doctor I was referred to in Corona office was for my hand and was amazing. I wanted to be treated for my ankle and knees and wanted a doctor closer to home, so I selected Ontario. Again it took me 2 months + to get an appointment only because I complained on yelp. When I went in to see the doctor, I had broken my ankle the week before. My appointment was at 9am. Doctor don't get in until 10:20am and 20 minutes later he walked in to examine me. He ordered X-ray for my ankle and was taken to X-ray room and they started to take X-rays of my knees. I told them I needed X-ray of ankle not the knees. Technician was an apprentice. I left the office at 12:30. After this fisaco, I was treated for my knees. After X-rays and therapy I had a MRI which showed damage to left knee. Doctor wanted to do arthroscopic surgery and injections in right knee. I told him I had surgery 3 time and injections 3 times before and they didn't work. At this time I told him I had 2nd and 3rd opinions to have a knee replacement. I left there with him placing a request for arthroscopic surgery and injections. He told me they will call me to have injections once authorization comes in. This was 3+ months ago and I'm still waiting for a call.my average wait to see the doctor was 1+ hours. One time I waited over 2 hours and left. Was told 10 doctors were in with 6 exams rooms. There handicap entrance is a joke. Its up cline going in and down cline coming out. If you're in walker or wheelchair coming out, if you're not careful You'll roll straight into traffic. This has been my experience, Hope yours is better if you choose the medical group. He takes the time to explain things to me and helped so much with my recovery . He gave me options in my treatment instead of just jumping into surgery . Whenever I had a question or concern the staff is great at making sure he gets my messages and most of the time he calls me back himself . The staff is really good at having communication with me and giving me different options for appointments. The manager also is always available if I have a question . Yes the wait times are a little long at times but it depends on how bustle they are which I guess it's a good thing that they are busy that tells me the doctors must be great . The worst dr appt of my life. All the staff is excellent. They try and do what they can to operate smoothly. I came inn at 1pm my appt was at 2pm came in a hour earlier!!!!! Due too I got 2 reminders letting me know too come inn at 1pm. I ask my case manager why come inn a hour earlier that's weird! But I was oh well! By 2:20 they called me inn and I was in the room! Waiting patiently! Then I herd the Dr!!!!!! And my case manager!!!! start talking about me! That was then at 310pm. I asked the nurse how much longer she let me know 30 minutes to a Hour more. After my x-rays. Dr starts looking at my x-rays starts getting loud with the employee! "I can't tell what leg that is"... I was a appalled! First walls are paper thin! You can hear everything! Then u miss treat your employees by being rude and yell at them! When it's obvious they do their job! When I leave I will take a pic of what time I leave! THis place has numerous Dr's. I've been coming here for about 3 years now everytime I come the staff is always great. They are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The manager cares about the patient's and handles situations that may occur in a timely manner. For everyone that says the wait is long. Those are only the ones that put the review. The wait time is the worst I ever had for a consultation. Unnecessary paper work to complete. The copy of someone else's driver license was between my paper work ....HIPAA violation right there. I've been to a couple places to so physicals exams for work. This is hands down one of the best I've been too. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. The doctor who profomed the exam was polite and easy to talk to seemed to enjoy his job unlike others I've been to. If you come here you'll be in good hands that's for sure! read more

I've been going to Healthpointe for over a month now, and I am very happy with the way everyone has treated me. I was in a car accident that left my back and shoulders extremely achy and sore, and the doctor recommended that I go to Heathpointe to help me feel better. Every time I go to Heathpointe, I am greeted with a big smile by Lauren. She helps me every time with my stretches and hooks me up to the H-Wave that helps massage and stimulate my back. She is extremely nice and easy to talk to which makes my experience even better. At the moment, I feel 10 times better than I did when I first started coming. They treated her with the utmost respect and patience and were so professional with this lady who was being so disrespectful and vile towards them.
