From the beginning, my husband and I received excellent care from kind, supportive, and professional providers who truly listened to our concerns, took the time to explain our care, and responded promptly when we needed help. We are especially grateful to Kiara Zamorano, FNP-C, Dr. Tong, Dr. Doan, and Dr. Ayman Fakeh for the compassion and attention they showed us. Although Dr. Doan and Dr. Fakeh are no longer with the group, we still appreciate the outstanding care they provided. Through many medical concerns, the team treated us with urgency, respect, and genuine compassion. I had one of the worst medical experiences of my life with Dr. Brandon Tong. My usual primary care physician is excellent (who is also through Cucamonga Valley Medical Group, hence the 3/5 stars because I feel conflicted), but he was booked up, so I had to see Dr. Tong instead. I came in for what should have been a simple follow-up: my HR department only needed an updated exemption form that my primary care physician had already completed in the past, connected to a heart valve leak that worsens under stress. Instead of reviewing my medical history carefully, Dr. Tong kept insisting he "didn't see anything" in my chart--even when I told him it was already linked in my patient portal and confirmed by my PCP. He dismissed the medication I take (which had just been confirmed by his own PA minutes before) and repeatedly implied that my condition wasn't real because he didn't see it in one set of notes. When I tried to explain, Dr. Tong minimized my concerns and spoke down to me. He even argued there was "no difference" between a 6-mile drive and a 60-mile commute, despite my documented anxiety diagnosis and heart condition. Rather than acknowledging he didn't have the full context, he chose to question and belittle me. The final straw was seeing the appointment summary later: he essentially admitted that my records were in the portal, but he personally didn't think it was enough to justify the exemption. If he had been upfront about that, I could have understood. Instead, he made me feel gaslit, disrespected, and completely dismissed as a patient. read more

I have never been super satisfied with this medical group but today's visit or lack there of really sealed the deal. I had a virtual appointment for this morning at 9:45. The nurse called me at 9:24 to do intake paperwork. While on the phone with me asking me questions her cell phone is ringing and continues to ring. She clearly isn't focused on what she's asking me and has to repeat questions that I have already answered. She says your appointment is at 9:45 and the doctor will send a link right before your appointment. 9:45 rolls around, 10:15 rolls around and still no call or link. I reach out to the office where I'm told that the Dr has an hour grace period for virtual/phone appointments. I was never informed of such policy so I decide to wait a bit longer thinking it should be any minute. At 10:40 I still have no link and decide to call the office again to see if I'm actually going to talk to the doctor today. A staff member then lets me know that the doctor has an hour before and an hour after grace period. I have never heard of this before and again was never informed of this policy. So she reaches out to the office to see if they can see me now. Now the time is 10:45 so we are coming up on that hour grace period ending. She comes back on the line to tell me that they aren't answering their phones. So I did not see the doctor and found out that apparently this medical groups policy is that when you make a virtual/phone appointment you can wait around for 2 hours and still not see the dr you made an appointment with. Very unprofessional and we'll be looking elsewhere for a new doctor. I don't recommend this medical group. read more

Ive been going to the Rancho location for over 2 years and have received nothing but excellent service. However, mine and my husband's recent experience has been less than desirable. My husband went to the doctor and needed forms completed. He was initially told it would take 5 days. 5 days pass and when he calls back, hes met with attitude and told it takes 7-10 days. Today is day 10, and he is still waiting for the doctor to complete the forms we paid $25 for them to compete. So tomorrow, day 11, we have to call again and hope to speak to someone without an attitude who actually helps. I see that only positive responses have been acknowledged, and am sad to see no one is monitoring the unhappy patients. read more

The first time I went there the medical Assistant was a problem Trying to act like a Doctor not knowing the one sitting on the table is a Very seasoned nurse... They're slow in getting your paperwork in all aspects of paperwork You need to do at least 2 follow-up calls before it's taken care of... I recently just had covid for the first time and when I called on a Tuesday to make an appointment they got me in for as soon as they could which was understandably on a Friday. Since it was covid and they take that seriously my doctor called me the next to do my appointment early. I was extremely appreciate of that. They are always very friendly and efficient. This is not about Dr Mowjood's services. I'm updating a continuing problem with this office responding to pharmacy request to issue a new prescription when I am out of refills. Usually, I place the blame on the pharmacy since that's normally the problem. However, for this prescription I switched pharmacies. I've personally know this pharmacist and I know he is truthful about the date he requested the new prescription as he gave me dates and names of those he spoke to at CVMG. So, since today is the 7th business day since this was requested by the pharmacist I called CVMG. They told me that they received the request yesterday. I knew that that was not correct. Then, within an hour, I received a call from CVMG stating that my prescription was approved and submitted to the pharmacy. Shortly thereafter, I received a call stating that my prescription was ready. If you read my previous review of December 2014 you can see the previous prescription problem. To me, it's a sad statement on the service that seems to be the norm of many doctors offices. read more

New patient here switching from an amazing NP I had in a different state. Always nerve wracking and daunting switching to a new doctor especially since starting a new medication with my old office that isn't as common and harder to justify to insurance companies, but since starting honestly has changed my life. I was so worried about having to justify it to my new doctor here at Cucamonga Valley, but they understood and restarted it immediately. I was even having issues at the CVS pharmacy with retrieving it after my appointment and Eduardo on the phone support line was a life saver and got it all straightened out. I spent 2 hours at CVS pharmacy trying to get this whole thing worked out playing phone tag between everyone and Eduardo seriously was the one to keep me sane especially after the CVS pharmacy tech was very rude and condescending to me. Can't be more happy with my switch to this Medical Group. My NP I saw was amazing as well, I believe her name was Pauline, but don't quote me on that! I write this review with a heavy heart as the other Doctors and staff that I have interacted with are wonderful, the only staff member that I will rate is Brandon TONG, DO(Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) who is not a true representative of the Osteopathic practice as he is not concerned with the overall care of his patients. Mr. Tong's bed side manner is horrible, during my visit he failed to inform me why there was another individual in the room with a laptop. My visit with Mr. Tong was useless as all he did was tell me all the things he was unable to help me with, "I'm not sure what you want me to do for you?" was his initial response. He took NO initiative to understand my concerns. I'm shaken to think what would have happened if I accepted his response and stayed quiet. Mr. Tong didn't even ask to why it wasn't working, his auto pilot response was that he is unable to because it's not advisable?! "How is it not advisable if it's not working and with no explanation given?" He eventually changed my dosage after I insisted. I would like for Cucamonga Valley to review Mr. Brandon Tong's overall performance and treatment of his patients. Patients should not feel worse leaving their Doctor's office. As insured individuals, we have many choices for care. Mr. Tong should keep this in mind the next time he feels high and mighty in his position and take heed to remember the oath that he took in order to be a treating physician. As patients, we go there and pay a ridiculous co-pay for HELP, it's enough pain to be ill and unable to treat yourself but to deal with an unsympathetic physician who is supposed to care and offer aide, that is absolutely unacceptable. "Help your patients MR. TONG! That is your job as a practicing physician, do try and be good at it!" I'd like to add that the only reason I even scheduled an appointment is because the other 3 amazing Physicians were not available- Dr. Ignacio, Dr. Wong, and Dr. Mowjood. I moved to the Upland, Cucamonga Valley Med Group office, about (2) years ago. In the multiple times I have visited this office, for me and my son's, I have always found it to be nice, clean, and inviting. The office staff and nurses are very friendly, helpful and through. I, too, followed PA Yumi Wong, from a different practice in Rancho Cucamonga. I have been to Yumi for various issues, over many years and have always found her to one of the most tentative, friendly and through medical professionals I have experienced. She makes it feel like you are visiting a friend, that happens to know her stuff on all medical issues. I have since moved my entire family to this office. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever! It is impossible to get a live person on the phone. I've sat on hold for an hour listening to their ridiculous message that I am the number 10 person in line. Over 30 minutes and I never moved to number nine. I finally entered my number for a call back. Within 10 minutes I got a call back from a live person. I advised them I had a phone appointment scheduled to go over my lab results between 0840 and 1130. It even showed on my patient portal. Well no Dr. called me. The lady said let me transfer you and the stupid phone tree started all over again. And guess what there was 10 people ahead of me. Horrible patient service!! Update: After 1 hour 18 minutes on hold I finally got another live person. She told me she doesn't know why the Dr. did not call me for my scheduled appointment. She said she would speak to him personally when he returns from lunch at 1:30 and ask him to call me. He never did. read more

Dr. Mowjood is my primary, and he is very responsive to everything I need. Encouraging and never in a rush - I have been with the group for many many years , and have had nothing but wonderful care, even when I see another doctor or NP, or PA in heather group! They have a high standard- and every practitioner seems to live up to it! The office is clean and comfortable - the supporting staff, efficient and kind. I am very impressed! This was my second visit to this Medical Group. Our (me and husband) initial visit was to establish our care with this medical group...and to order blood work and other tests for just an overall health checkup. We are former patients of another medical group in RC...where Yumiko (Yumi) Wong, PA, used to work. We have followed her to this practice...and so happy we did. Yumi, and this office staff are very detail oriented. When you check-out you are given a copy of what was done during your visit and any follow-up appointments you may have. You will also get a copy of your blood work with the results. I have never received this kind of info from any other practice. We are very happy with this medical group....but with all honesty...it is Yumi Wong that brought us to this facility....and we will follow her again, should she ever move on from here. Dubious business practice. Been a patient under the Cucamonga Medical Group for many years and without warning I was charged deductible payments for medical services. Whereas, before I would be seen for a co- payment $20 for a visit. As always I pay my $20 co-payment prior before my medical visit, thinking this is all I owe. Yet, months later I recieve a bill in the mail explaining I owe hundreds of dollars. I called up my insurance company and was told they changed from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Having PPO I feel that a warning should have been given, allowing me the choice of making my benefits work best for me, not with the deception that all that was required was a co-payment of which they took. read more

Brandon Tong has terrible bedside manner. I needed an appointment to address my issues and concerns. I addressed all my concerns with Dr. Tong and I could have gotten the same answers on a google search. This is my first time seeing him but both my son and husband have seen him and came back from both of there visits saying the same thing. He wants to just hurry up and get you outta there. He acts like a snarky dick acting like he is above you. He actually freakin yawned as I was describing my symptoms. I don't understand what is going on with this medical practice, my family has been patients for years. They allow these physicians to talk to patients however they please. Back in December my husband saw another physician named Lauren Crostic, as soon as my husband walked in her medical assistant was a bitch! Fine whatever maybe she was having a bad day, but it wasn't until Ms Crostic walked into the room her behavior was totally unacceptable. It seemed to me these 2 had something against men. Ms Crostic rudely scolded my husband for asking for time off due to his consistent asthma flare ups due to working in the cold. She told him "No, I am at work at we are working the front lines. We are more at risk so if I can come to work so can you". Like WTF who even asked you, we are completely different ppl. Rude ass Bitch! Luckily she isn't there anymore, I just wish I knew the name of her medical assistant. Bottom line the management here needs to hold there physicians and employees accountable for there behavior, how much longer will this be tolerated. The one and only physician that my husband and I absolutely love is Ms Yumi Wong. She is amazing it is just very difficult to book an appointment with her. She is obviously very popular and I can see why. This is the only reason why we have been stuck seeing these other trash physicians. CMVG I strongly suggest you observe your staff during their interactions with patients, I mean everyone even the front office staff which can be hella rude too if they feel like being bitches. read more

The office here is very nice and the receptionist was welcoming, patient and responsive. I was taken back within 5 minutes of my arrival. The medical assistant was friendly and professional while she took my vitals and gathered family history. The PA (Wong) entered the room after about 15 minutes I would say. She spent about 10-15 minutes with me. This is the most time in my entire life (with the exception of gynecology) that anyone has spent with me in the doctors office with their undivided attention. As long as you never have to contact (call) the office, I would recommend elsewhere. While the office and staff are kind and professional, expect 10-20 minute wait times when calling before you can speak to someone (and that is if it can be resolved). This includes phone calls for appointments, referrals, authorizations etc. Don't even try calling on a Monday or Friday. Even the pharmacy has stated they are below par at follow up. Driving over to the office seems even better than calling - but who has that time. I have recently used the patient portal, and reached out, and did not receive a response. As for the doctors they are good and educated, but if you need to call - plan on carving out 30 - 45 minutes of your day. This is not ideal when insurance coverage is HMO. read more

Dr Eric Belemeier has absolutely no bed side manner. Worst doctor I have ever been to. First visit with him, so I told him about my struggles with infertility and how hard it is for me go to doctors appointments. During the visit he proceeds to tell me a story about a pregnant lady. 10/10 would not recommend. I make my co-pay in office and then few weeks later they are billing me again through mail for my visit that I already paid for.. The first time I didn't think much of it and paid the co-pay AGAIN over phone which means instead of a $25 co-pay it was $50 but every time Id go for another visit and paid in person, I'd get billed for the same visit co-pay again in the mail few weeks later. After the 3rd time of this happening I knew things are looking shady because I know I payed already and so I find my bank statements that show I payed the day of my visit, on top of my receipts of paying again for the same visits over the phone... Long story short they will double charge you if you don't pay close attention and they don't fix their mistakes when you bring it to their attention. Terrible, I've learned my lesson to never go back here and keep documentation/ receipts of EVERYTHING. read more

The medical staff is always great. The doctors, nurses, and PAs are top notch. Their business management is atrociuos! They must be doing well based on all of the new offices they are opening and I couldn't be happier for them. But for the love of God, can you not hire some more call takers? How about contracting with some call center in India to sechedule apponitments or answer a phone. It will literallly take me longer to schedule this appointment than the actual visit will last. I was looking for a new doctor when I moved to the area and this office was recommended by my insurance company. Doctors and office staff have always been extremely friendly and informative. Definitely would recommend making an appointment because they always seem booked up. I have on one occasion been able to walk in and see a doctor without an appointment but I had to wait about an hour and a half. Great office! read more
