I visited the clinic at 2226 Medical Center Drive, Suite 102 for an initial workers' compensation evaluation with Dr. Jose R. Morales, MD. Unfortunately, my experience there was very disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable and unheard. The first issue was the extremely long wait time. I was called up and then sent back to sit down again, and by the time I was actually taken in to see the doctor, the wait had been so long it felt like I could have taken a nap in the waiting room. When I was finally examined, the equipment in the room appeared outdated and the environment was cold and uncomfortable. There was also an intern assisting who seemed unsure how to operate the equipment. During the examination, Dr. Morales' demeanor made me feel as though he had already decided I did not need treatment. His questioning felt repetitive and interrogative rather than focused on understanding my condition. After the test results came back, he immediately commented that I was "knock-kneed," which did not seem relevant to the injury I was there for. Later, when I reviewed his report, I noticed that some statements in the report were never discussed with me during the appointment. Because of these concerns, I requested a second opinion. I was given another appointment and told I would see a different doctor in a nearby suite. However, when I arrived, I was redirected back to Suite 102 and told I would again be seeing Dr. Morellis. When I questioned this, I was given an explanation suggesting he was somehow the second opinion, which made no sense. At that point I felt very uncomfortable and declined to proceed. After leaving, I contacted the workers' compensation district office to report my experience. I felt the visit lacked professionalism and genuine concern for my medical condition. While I'm sure many staff members there may be kind people, my experience with the evaluation process and the physician was not positive, and it is not a facility I would recommend. read more

7/24/24 I had an appointment at 10:45am for Xrays. I arrived and signed in at 10:30am. The receptionist just said have a seat and wait to be called. After waiting over an hour I was called back to do my weight and height and asked to wait in lobby again. About 5 mins later I was called back again. The nurse asked how I was doing and I expressed being annoyed about waiting so long for Xrays. She then stated that the Xray machine was down. I was shocked and annoyed that I was not notified of this when I arrived. She repeated this two more times as she walk me to a room to see the Dr. I stated, " I don't need to see the Dr. He needs the Xrays first. She then walked past me giving my file to the front desk to be rescheduled. Her complete rude, unapologetic, disregarding unprofessional behavior made me angry. So I addressed it with her loudly. The facility once you do get past the waiting room consist of a narrow hallway and crammed in this hallway is the door to the bathroom were people are stepping into the hallway were your standing to do the eye test, the weight scale is right by the door to enter and exit the waiting area, and more people have to wait for the person to figure out the scale before letting them past. Meanwhile everyone is watching what the scale shows. Then your asked to go into the procedure room where they are not sure if the blood pressure cuff works, and then attempts to get a reading over a thick sweater. I can hear them down the hallway discussing my readout. One girl is young and brandnew that when she put the bp cuff on, the hose was on my elbow. I helped her out, not a big deal, but for her to not have supervision while with a patient? Second BP readout another clinician came in and said the batteries were bad. Anyway she asked for me to take off my shirt for this reading i asked for a paper shirt or something she said they didn't have anything like that but she could close the door as if that was going above and beyond for me. The last was i was standing while they were taking it and i was visabley upset. I left the room and asked for all my paperwork. I was told to wait and I told them I was done with waiting and that I was going to start getting loud. I had already been at this place two othwr times. What seems like a simple process turned into a disaster of no one knows who is on first. From the clients perspective this facility is overburdened and too small for what it is offering to the public. True, I did let my anger get the best of me in this process and said that this place is like a third world facility to the whole waiting room. Oops, a I did apologize as I left. The staff is very attentive to my care for physical therapy,I really like coming here for my physical therapy , the staff in the physical therapy portion are awesome especially pope and the young ladies who are there playing music while I do my physical therapy exercises. I was alittle bummed out that when I went to do my exercises today there was no music and when I asked why I was told they were not allowed to play music anymore. Was at Healthpointe perris 1-18-23. I Had injured my ankle had to go there as directed by my school/district. x ray and dr. discuss was good.however they gave me a brace too small for my ankle and cut off my circulation . here s the clinch...no Driver License returned after initial intake!! I had left and gone across town to another errand and noticed my license not in my wallet!!drove back 6 miles to ask for it back (nervous someone might get my info who shouldn t have it!!) they then plucked it off copy machine. Gal who had taken it to copy (when I 1st got there) began to laughed when taken off copier. I said, "good thing I didn't travel all way home to nuevo 25 miles away." The Same gal laughed again and.said "oh sorry" in a "casual tone" "no big deal" voice. As I walked out I could still HEAR laughter. Very inappropriate and degrading. Glad this is not my routine med. Did my pre employment drug test, tb test and physical here. Employees did not wear gloves nor washed their hands prior, even when administering my tb test. Was dismissed when i raised concern. Dr NIck is a rude careless man. He walks in doesnt look at me or verify that im the right patient. He proceeds to assess me , doesn't listen to me, prescribes a medication I cant take. I get 2 shots in my neck and when he leaves me sitting there for God know how long I finally stand up and ask the nurse what am I supposed to expect after the shots. She tells DR. We just had our car detailed and all of our Mass were pulled out of her car when I showed up they informed me I needed a mask which was not a problem so when I asked for one they said they could not provide me with one although their sign said that they would. I asked if I could cover my mouth with my shirt as my appointment was only for 2 minutes. I was declined and informed per their sign I had to have a medical in 95 mask so I went and drove around four different buildings in search for one. When I returned not only were there other patients as well as other employees wearing homemade mask that they told me were not acceptable. This place is hypocritical and a bunch of sheep. read more

I have been to the Perrin location a few times now. Although most of the time I rather listen to nails on a chalkboard than go to my yearly check up, this location has made the experience much more pleasant . I have to mention Evelyn Salgado, her bubbly and energetic personality makes light of a not so pleasant situation. Evelyn's humor always keeps me smiling. She does this while at the same time staying efficient and always extremely helpful. The location is small with limited seating, so I would definitely leave the kids at home if possible. The place is clean and easy to locate. I will definitely continue to come here and hopefully Evelyn will be here each time. read more

As an Office Manager of a Medical office myself, i am very saddened to say this was by far the worse medical facility i have ever been to. My appt. was at 4pm, i arrived at 2:50pm as i was instructed to arrive 1 Hr. early. I walk in and was not greeted once by a receptionist instead I was pointed to a table to fill out a COVID form. Then i had to complete a thick packet intake form on my injuries, that took me an hour to complete. While i sat there filling this out, patients were complaining about their wait time, some even walked out all while the receptionists sat there and gossiped and talked about the patients. The receptionists lack professionalism, customer service, kindness. I was finally called back only to be seen for 6 minutes. Doctor walked in and didn't even sit down, didn't even look at my paperwork or MRI report! He assumed i was there for a brain injury, which i wasn't! He then asked me to walk a staright line to check my balance and said "i seemed fine." Did not sit once or ask me any questions. He then said he was going to just prescribe me pain meds. I had to stop him because if he even glanced at my paperwork he would see I'm 2 months pregnant!! I had to tell the Doctor himself that it was unsafe for me to take medication!! That should have been the first thing he looked for or asked me before trying to prescribe me something and send me on my way. I was shocked. He ended it with "ok well i can't do anything since your pregnant so come back in 6 weeks to re-evaluate." I will never waste my gas and time here again, if you are considering this place please do yourself a favor and don't do it! To whoever manages this facility, how long are you going to brush off the long list of negative reviews and start addressing them? Wake up! read more

I have been going to health point for a few months now due to a knee injury. I like the doctors, they are very informative and their customer service is 5 stars but unfortunately the speed at which the front office does things is at a 1 star. I always wait for an hour at least to be seen for appointments, they never return phone calls or forget to call at all when appointments are scheduled and when a issue is brought up they pass the buck on blame and nothing gets done. The only reason I have not moved to another office is because Dr. Kats is an excellent orthopedic doctor and I'd hate to start over some where else. read more

I wouldn't want to my appointment to be pushed later if I was early and because the other person wanted to be late. But to continue my experience at Healthpointe, I spoke with Patty Duran. I believe she is the manager there. If not, she should be. She was very patient with me and our conversation but without taking too much time on the phone.
