Had an appointment with Dr Kim and was running late (30mins late). I know that their policy is for automatic reschedule and I get that. I wouldn't want to my appointment to be pushed later if I was early and because the other person wanted to be late. But to continue my experience at Healthpointe, I spoke with Patty Duran. I believe she is the manager there. If not, she should be. She was very patient with me and our conversation but without taking too much time on the phone. She was able to squeeze me in since another patient cancelled their appointment. In the end, I was lucky enough to see Dr Kim. Lady at front desk didn't acknowledge me for at least 3 minutes. Very rude. My mother was assisting me due to me injury and she was asked to leave because she wasn't a patient. There was a husband waiting for his wife to be seen but he was not asked to leave. Front desk lady kept starring at me which made me feel very uncomfortable. read more

Update. It seems every time I come here to see the doctor it takes 1:30 to 2:30 hours to see him for 1 to 2 minutes. I'm always on time. Very frustrating. This has happened several times. I know if they would just check in and out time they would know this to be true. I would never choose this place for my regular doctor. It is shameful that they don't respect our time. They haven't done anything with the TV's as well. One doesn't work and the others have the same :15 loop of the same video. Special torture for us underlines I guess. Very friendly staff. But every time I come here, I see the same program on the TV that's been running for the past 2 to 3 months. They used to have regular movies but not anymore. It would be great if they had cable TV. It would be good way to pass the time while waiting to see the doctor. read more

Terrible service. Appointment for 1, arrive at 12:30 to fill out paperwork that takes an hour to do as it asks for obscure information and unrelated conditions. Another hour, finally in a room where I had to answer the same questions that are on the paperwork so they could put it in the computer, 2:30 and still haven't seen a doctor. read more

This urgent care is great. The staff is really nice an professional. Spanish and English is spoken and the office is very clean. The play movies while you wait, which is refreshing. The only thing I that didn't sound cool is they charge for faxes. They didn't before why now. How about email, that's free. This place is great, I just hope upper management doesn't ruin it by nickel and dimming patients in this economy. Other than that if you don't need something faxed this place is awesome. Dr. Culver is my doctor that I've been seeing for the past six months for my work comp injury I couldn't be more happier with his bedside manners and his service. Came in today for a check up because me and my parents got into a car accident recently and front counter receptionist was very nice and checked us in. About 10 minutes later we were seen by the doctor and he was very professional as well as the medical assistants. They were very fast and attentive and scheduled our tests and physical therapy and checked us out. Like i said very professional and we are very glad our lawyer recommended this place. read more

I'm happy I was sent here after my injury it helped more then just physical therapy. The doctor here has gifted hands helped me feel a sense of relief in my upper back . I get to tell the doctor how I soft or hard I want my massage and he does the rest never pushes what he wants on his patients. Perfect place to go if you like to wait for two to three hours and listen to the staff talk about their sex lives. Even if you make an appointment the staff will tell you the doctor has other things to do after you've waited for an hour and a half. If only I could give 0 stars, I would. My 15 year-old son had an ankle fracture and per ER doctor, he has to be seen by an orthopedic doctor and the splint needs to be replaced with a cast. I called several orthopedic offices but unfortunately all of them didn't have an opening until January. Then I saw healthpointe after checking our insurance's network of doctors and one is affiliated with them. I called Healthpointe, was placed on hold only to be told that they DON'T treat minors. GREAT!!! I don't remember ever seeing this on their website. I suggest you update your website and specify that you don't treat minors. As a parent, I am angered for the rejection as I know my son needs help. read more

Consistently wait 1 1/2 -2 hours to see the doctor for 5 mins. Called my WC adjuster to find a new doctor. I'm very satisfied with Dr. Katz, but no way is he worth the wait. Find a different clinic! In response to Joy M. of Healthpointe... I walked out of my last appt. after waiting 2 1/2 hours. I was taken back to the exam room after an hour and a half. I was told by the nurse that there was only one patient ahead of me so it won't be long. After one hour waiting in the exam room I had had enough and l left. The office mgr called me and was very nice and apologetic. She invited me back in and I saw the doctor immediately. I'm not very impressed with this facility. This was my second visit to the location. Came here for a 2nd opinion for surgery on my knee injury. Dr recommended trying injections first and wanted an updated X-ray. Well, the machine was down the first visit, so I had to schedule another appt. My husband took off work early, came in from the desert to take me. Waited an hour past my appt, finally ask the desk girls how much longer, only to find out they do not have the proper X-ray machine for my X-ray. WHAT?? Shouldn't someone have looked at the upcoming appts to determine if they would be able to accommodate the dr's orders? I had to schedule another appt in a different office. My time is valuable. My husband and I both work and cannot afford to take off time to drive 25 minutes from home, wait an hour, be rescheduled, and drive 25 minutes I will say the desk girls and nurses were quite nice and apologetic for what took place. There might be more 2+ star reviews if patients time and needs were taken into consideration. Highly disappointed! read more

I went in for a routine check up. I arrived at the arranged time and receptionist was very friendly. I was also greeted by the manager, Patty at the front desk. After checking in, a gentleman did come by to check up on me while I waited in the lobby to ensure I had already been helped and to let me know I would be seen momentarily. Mr. Castrejon was very polite and professional. I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the service. The doctor was very knowledgeable and pleasant. When I got there the staff said " i didn't have a appointment " it's a workmans comp case, so we had to call the lawyer and they were able to get us in. Went to Heathpointe Perris for extreme back pain. After a long wait Dr Kim saw me and ordered X-rays. After another long wait Dr Kim came back and told me my back was worn out. he wanted start PT at this time, without doing anything for the pain. I declined the manipulations because the pain was to great for anything physical. Next I went to the ER and was given a shot of Motrin and the pain started getting better after about an hour. I went home and started taking Motrin pills that ER gave and slowly got better. Why did Healthpointe do nothing for the pain???? read more

This is what I posted on Google about three weeks ago and below that you will see my followup: Terrible customer service. Before my initial visit, I was rescheduled three times because they couldn't get their act together. I finally saw the doctor and he himself was nice but the office staff is tearing this business apart. I received an appointment for my testing but the earliest date they had was three months later. Again, I was called 1 hr and 45 minutes prior to my appointment to tell me that they couldn't see me that day and would have to reschedule again. Now I have to wait an additional two weeks. This is the epitome of poor service and lack of concern and respect for the patient. The doctors of this group would be best served if the office staff were fired and replaced with competent personnel. They also don't listen to what's being said on the phone because one of the girl's I spoke to couldn't remember things that were said onlu minutes before and would reschedule appointments without regard to what I had just told her. Avoid this medical center and seek a different provider. I myself will be seeking a different provider and cancel everything with this office. Followup on 5/24/16: I showed up on time for my 9:30 appt to go over my test results with my doctor (will not bad mouth him as he has done a great job himself). I was charged my copay and then waited to be called in. At 9:48, I was called in to go to the exam room. Immediately upon entering the exam room, I was informed that "Dr. xxxxx is not in today as he called in sick this morning" and we don't have another doctor here that can interpret your test results." Obviously by that statement alone, the staff there knew that the doctor was not in even before paying my copay. Also, they should have called me (as soon as the doctor had called in sick) to inform me that the doctor was not in today and thus save me the 1 1/2 hours of commute and wait time today. When I inquired as to why I was charged a copay and not informed sooner, the office manager skated around the question and simply tried to offer me further locations to go to in order to see a different doctor. They obviously have no excuse for having me drive in for no reason whatsoever other than to charge their fees and be able to bill my insurance company (which I will inform of this reckless behavior). The staff also refused to reimburse my copay indicating that they will just not charge the copay for my next appointment. What if I just decide never to go back to such an incompetent company? Avoid this clinic if at all possible and instead seek a different provider if you insurance company ever recommends this clinic. read more

I gave this place 1 Star because my Doctor was cool. All of the other associates are idiots. Hold time on the phone is way to long. Pysical therapist are afraid to touch you, so they do the least amount of work as possible at the speed of a turtle. I hope I never have to come back here again. Wow. This place is absolutely terrible. I'm not the one to complain because I Am very patient and understanding, however everyone that works here is terrible. First, this place messed up very important paperwork for us. We come back and they do not explain to us what's going on. Also Evelyn (one of the girls in the front) gave us wrong information. What makes things worst is that we tried talking to the manager for several months and she wouldn't show her face. I finally got so upset that I went I to the office and stood there until Patricia (the manager) came out. One of the girls came out and gave me Patricia's business's card and told me she told her to give me the business card. I was so angry because what kind of Manager doesn't want to see her clients/ patients?! Anyway I stood there until Patricia finally came out. Honestly I have NEVER had worst service than this.
