This medical device store tucked into the corner of a strip mall (around the corner from the library on the end) in Orangevale had everything I was seeing and more! I went for a walker and not only found exactly what I wanted (been doing a lot research on line, but like to buy things in local stores), a red walker with a seat and brakes, but a STANDER. Yes, that is what it is called. No seat, no brakes, but weighs only 4 pounds and easy to squeeze together and swing into a car trunk with one hand. Vanessa was extremely helpful in fitting everything to me. Will be back for shoes and a leg-lifter (helps swinging up bad leg into bed and also getting into and out of the automobile). This store looks like it is small, but it is jammed with all sorts of medical assistance devices and the range of walkers is outstanding. As a first-time customer, the discount was most welcoming! My only interaction with Vanessa was over the phone, but she was a wealth of information. HealthQuest is an authorized dealer for Flexabed, an adjustable bed that is unusual in that can be raised from low to high, similar to a hospital bed but more for home use and decor. Vanessa was great about answering questions, even contacting the company to get more specific information. The other Yelp reviews are spot on - this is the place to go if you want a wide selection of medical products, medical expertise, helpful information, and outstanding, personable customer service. If I lived closer to Fair Oaks, it would be the only place I would shop for medical supplies. read more

Healthquest provided a very good customer experience. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. I was able to rent a little electric cart, which was a life saver as I had broken my ankle. My only issue is that I paid for a month's rental upfront as well as a deposit. I returned the cart early. The deposit was promptly refunded, but apparently they don't prorate for early return. This was very disappointing, as I'd hoped to get a partial refund. I was told very politely that this is in the contract, and that I could have rented it for a shorter period. I still give them 5 stars because I should have been more careful. Still, good to know if you're planning to rent equipment. read more

I was in need of a ride on scooter so I could attend my sons graduation. Health quest was wonderful and had the right scooter that I need. I would not have been able to get down to the football field for the graduation if I didn't have the ride on scooter what a life saver and I was able to enjoy the graduation without my legs hurting.
