The place is clean and well run And while I don't understand the technique it does seem to work! My alignment was better and it's noticeable after I work out how that gets your body out of alignment So far so good! Initially, my sister went in there for a mild Traumatic Brain injury. She has seen many doctors over 3 1/2 years since the injury. NUCCA doctor is accurate as there are a ton of x-rays that I had. Doctor makes you wait a really long time, then does his treatment for 3 minutes, and charges a ton of money. Dr. Dickholtz is a real jerk who is only interested in dealing with wealthy patients. This review is based on when I saw him years ago. I sincerely hope that he has changed from being a "big shot" to being full of empathy & compassion. After I had seen him I went to a Naprapath and have had physical therapy. The Naprapath was very sweet.The physical therapist was very professional. Naprapathy is good for spinal alignment & relaxation. Dr. Daiki always does a phenomenal job. Nucca is such an amazing thing. A couple of years ago I suffered a concussion and then started experiencing lower back pain I tried massage, acupuncture and chiropractic. Nucca was the only thing that finally worked. I've been seeing Dr. Dickholtz since 2008 when I first started having neck trouble. The approach he (and the entire NUCCA community) takes is wonderfully deliberate to ensure your head is literally screwed on straight. I read the review Lenny S. posted, and it's true that the overall adjustment feels like getting poked by a 2 year old, but it is wonderfully effective. After one non-invasive, non-high-velocity adjustment to my neck, I started seeing drastic changes. The pain I was feeling in my body dropped precipitously. About three months ago, I started experiencing odd nerve symptoms out of the blue: numbness, tingling, and pins & needles in my fingers, arms, legs, and toes. My family doc did blood work and found nothing. My orthopedic doc ran expensive and painful nerve tests and found nothing. My traditional chiropractor adjusted me; it changed nothing. My symptoms persisted and actually got worse. Then two separate people told to me give NUCCA a try, and specifically to go see Dr. Dickholtz, who is a master in this field. I had never heard of NUCCA before, so I researched it thoroughly and decided to give it a try. I discovered at my first visit that my C1 vertebra was severely misaligned (probably had been that way for years) and that the misalignment had been impinging nerves in my spine, causing my symptoms. After my first adjustment, which was very gentle but obviously perfectly targeted, I immediately felt lighter and more balanced when I stood up. My post-adjustment x-rays showed that my C1 went from misaligned to perfectly straight, which took the pressure off my nerves. Over time, all of my nerve symptoms disappeared. I could tell in the mirror that, even after that gentle adjustment, my body had drastically shifted because my shoulders went from looking crooked to looking straight! Dr. Dickholtz has been paramount to my recovery from severe TMJ and traumatic brain injury. NUCCA is a highly specialized technique, and Dr. Dickholtz is the leading practitioner in the field. I was just fortunate that his office was so close to my home when I learned that NUCCA can aid greatly in traumatic brain injury and TMJ recovery. Specifically, I have experienced issues with my vision and balance that, in the beginning, were crippling. I am 28 years old, with a 2 1/2-year-old daughter, so drawing the curtains and taking up a narcotic addiction - essentially the only option presented to me by western medicine - was not an option.
