The craziness of…read morethe new rage, from an oldie but goodie, and the committment from the owner to make his/her greateness available at reasonable price and in cool digs. Now, I wouldn't call the New York State Capital lawn cool digs, but seeing as it just a few blocks away and plenty of green grass, park benches, picnic tables, and other seating, how can one resist coming out here for a stroll and a great bite to eat? Not to mention, it is the only place in Albany where you can find 4-5 food trucks to choose from, which makes me feel sad, as that number is low compared to other progressive cities like, San Diego, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, New York. It also upsets some people that the capitol gets special treatment for placement of food trucks, but let's save that for another day. Michele's looked good. I was simply craving a burger and fries. However, I've learned from my food trucking, that fries can be somewhat of a challenge. Either soggy, dried, or just not right. I hate suffering through that, so instead, I ordered the tots they have. Being a chemist by nature, I don't know what it is with tots, but you can hardly mess them up. They always come out crispy on outside and nice and hot inside. Michele's did not disappoint. I ordered my 0.3lb burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The film broke loose and this movie came to a screeching halt when I heard, "We are out of onions." "Ahhhhgg," I thought, as in my opinion a burger just isn't a burger without onions. Before I could complete my sigh of disbelief, the server said, "We can put some fried onions on it, if you want. Will take a little longer." I was ecstatic. Not because I got my onions, albeit in a different form, but the food truck guy did not have to offer this, but he did. Why? I don't know, ask him, but I can guess it is because they have that food truck service mentality of "Let's take care of our special customers." It did take a little longer but was worth it. The cook handed me a freshly cooked cheeseburger with fried onions and tater tots. He even warned me that the tots were piping hot just out of the fryer. Really nice touch. I will definitely be back and try their other menu items which look really good including the clam, even though I am not a big clam fan.

You can't always tell if a food truck at a brewery will be a hit or not - but this one was. The bottom crust had a nice char and the edges were pillowy. There were 4 flavors to choose from each time - so you should be able to find an option that you like. I've tried 3 different pizzas and was really surprise at how good the pizza was. Good ingredients, good flavor combinations, and cooked really well. Follow their FB page to see where they will be. I will definitely keep tabs on their events and follow them around. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like!

Craig is absolutely amazing, so kind, I loved chatting with him! We first met him at one their pop ups at a brewery in Albany, which confirmed everything he makes is delicious. The pizza was outstanding for our wedding and our guests absolutely loved it! We heard many rave reviews from our family, and they were even able to accommodate some special requests on the spot. Absolutely amazing! And we got leftover pizza afterwards, which was a lifesaver particularly for me and my husband since we were being pulled in many directions throughout the night. Thank you Craig for making our wedding so special, I know we will be visiting you again soon!

Their menu looks sooo amazing but the food just doesn't live up to expectations. Received burnt eggs on my pad Thai that where so burnt they where black and inedible. Because the chicken tikka masala was just as inedible.

The upside, sub in the zucchini noodles and side step the issue entirely. For anyone who is not down w/the veggie noodles give them a try. Otherwise try rice. I love the "zoodles" BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I can't say enough about how much I really enjoy this food truck. Korean BBQ, steak bowl.. brisket. They're all really good. My favorite is the poke bowl, followed closely by the bruschetta bowl. The staff is the BEST of all the food trucks outside of the Capitol. They make an effort to make you happy, so switch proteins, substitute protein- they have tofu, they'll make it Keto if that's your preference.. They really make an effort to remember what you like.. they take your name w/your order & they get to know you. Today, I bought a bowl for lunch and dinner. Cuz.. that's how I bowl!

At first I thought it was going to be…read morean ice cream truck, but upon closer examination I saw their menu which said they served pizza by the slice and other Italian food. I looked in the main serving area and didn't see any pizza so I asked if they had any, and they assured me that they did. I ordered a slice of sausage and a slice of white broccoli. The pizza was stored in a warming oven, in cardboard pizza boxes. Apparently, my choices were in separate boxes because he had to go into two different ones. The price for two specialty slices and a can of soda was $6.25, which was in line with other food trucks. The slices were about 5" x 7" and served on paper plates. They were just okay. I got two "inner" pieces so I couldn't judge the crust, as it was a sheet pizza and pretty thick. The sausage on the pizza was very good with a strong fennel flavor, though there wasn't much taste in the red sauce. They used frozen broccoli (yuck) on their white pizza, though there was ample garlic flavor. The cheese was pretty dried out. Had the pizza been fresh out the oven it likely would have been better. I like pizza as much as the next person, but storage in cardboard and kept warm for several hours is no way to treat it. If you are hungry it is an okay option.
