I love to support local business and to take care of my health as naturally as possible. Healthy Habit is a win win for this. Their store front is deceptively small though because when you walked in you can see that they have a huge amount of products for sale. I went in today looking for essential oils for use in helping me get over a cold. I walked through the store to the essential oils and had no less than 3 workers ask if they could help. When I did accept help from the 3rd worker she was friendly and very helpful in finding just the right oils, even pulling two different brands of the same oil so that I could compare them. They didn't have one of the oils I was looking for (chamomile) but offered to either have me get the herbs themselves or to order it for me if I would rather. This place was amazing! A friend recommended I go there for supplements to treat an recent physical issue I've been having. He said the staff was very helpful. That was an understatement... plenty of staff there asking to help you and with such kindness. The lady who helped me, i forgot her name (I believe from India) really took the time to ask me questions and help me choice the right product. She didn't try to sell me the most expensive maker of the product I bought. So happy to have discovered this place and plan on going back as needed. read more

Came down with the worst cough I have ever had, went in and bought the 2 items recommended by the doctor who owns the store, and my cough went away. Very disappointed. First we walked in during a PANDEMIC and the first thing we see is an employee with a face shield at an angle so that her nose and mouth are uncovered. Very friendly and offering assistance but not safely masked. Next we encounter another employee with no mask at all! I can't help myself but blurt out "Where's your mask?" to which she replies "I have this instead." gesturing to a button on her shirt which I assume but can't see to know refers to an ailment that means she gets a pass on the mask mandate. No fewer than two additional employees are encountered, each wearing their mask over the mouth but not the nose. This is supposed to be a health food store! Not doing their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I won't be back. If I can't trust them to uphold the COVID-19 health requirements how can I trust their inventory? read more

My husband and I recently started the keto diet and we stopped in to see about a keto ice cream that was supposed to be sold there. It was and we bought it. Loss of stars because of the overall vibe of the store. If you like small, tight aisles and items stacked to the ceiling this is the place for you. As we shopped there were random people set up sampling (?) something, but said nothing to us as we looked at them (odd...). Also could over hear someone in the back (?) of the store having what sounded to be a nutritional consultation of some sort... Again, odd. This place is a money trap for hypochondriacs, histrionics, and the hype addicted. I am a supporter of crunchier lifestyles, but this place points out what's wrong in Granolatown. I feel sad when I hear an anxious woman talking to a clerk about how the last two $100+ remedies she purchased didn't work, and can they recommend anything else? I get pissed when I see that this store's prices are oddly nearly the same as Vitamin Shoppe's, item-for-item, which is to say, full retail, and I know many of these items are available online for as little as half the price. It's like the Twenty Dollar Store in here. This stuff doesn't need to be this expensive; there is no justification other than greed preying upon desperation, ignorance and vanity. I am disgusted when I see tremendously marked up goods and foodstuffs, like $30 pints of coconut oil, marked up because coconut oil is popular right now, and some suckers think, "If it costs more, it must be better, right?" The one thing preventing people from adoping healthier foods and the use of effective supplements is this pervasive greed and hype that permeates the industry, and today it was in full view at Healthy Habit(s). read more

I have been shopping here for maybe 16 years and I have always received good customer service. The entire staff here is extremely helpful and knows their stuff. For such a small store, they make good use of every inch. Selections of supplements, vitamins, and specialty foods are really good. If you ever have a question about anything to do with nutrition, this is your one stop shop. This is a good spot to grab things you may not find at other places, such as raw milk.....you can get that here. Some of their stuff is certainly pricier, but the only place you'd find it cheaper would be online and perhaps you want it right away. Also, this is the type of spot that should be supported because it's independent and the people that work here genuinely care; They truly want to help others. I just visited Health Habit today and found it to be a more than adequate store. They had a wide variety of homeopathic products for just about any malady you can name. They also have a satisfactory assortment of things like electrolyte pills and B complex vitamins. Furthermore, they have information about diets and health regimes for people of all ages. The staff was friendly courteous and extremely helpful. Finally, and most importantly, they have a large selection of good tasting, healthy foods. The cost of the products was slightly than say a grocery store, but not any different from Whole Foods or any other health conscious places. So, check out Health Habit if you are in the neighborhood, it will fit your needs. read more

Healthy habits is a good place to go for anything you can't find anywhere else! This place is PACKED with so much stuff that you are almost overwhelmed, but thankfully their incredibly helpful and pleasant staff is right there to help you in any way they can. No one is far away and anyone can easily be located in you quest of goods. I went there to find raw milk which was right inside the coolers. The product was fresh and I was so happy to not have to drive two hours to south Phoenix to attain what I was looking for. I hate to only give them four stars but because the inside was so overwhelming and crammed with stuff it felt a little claustrophobic.
