I recently noticed that some of the clerks have decided to add an automatic 8% gratuity without saying anything or asking. I get charges differently depending on who's working and I never really asked for receipts. So when I did, I was shocked to see this added gratuity that they never mentioned or asked me about. This whole time I add an additional tip. Tipping is optional. You cannot add it without the customer's consent. Very assuming and DISHONEST. read more

Today I stopped by their store to buy some creatine. I also took a shake. The price on the creatine was $44.95 and the shake was $7. When I paid with Apple Pay, I didn't check the checkout because I didn't have my glasses. I returned home and received a message from my bank telling me that I had been charged $86.60. I went back to the store and the employe told me the price was $70 for the creatine because the new manager (or owner) had raised the prices. I requested refund for the creatine and was credited for $67.37. Ok , I have tax and let a TIP, but finally, the shake cost me $20. I thought it was forbidden to have different prices between tag and cash register. The price was 55% more expensive. Check your receipts or clearly avoid this shop. My friend Tom W. introduced me to this place... He works out at the Pure Fitness across the parking lot and got into the habit of going to One Stop Nutrition to pick up a smoothie and refuel after his workouts. Lucky for me, he's a nice guy and oftentimes calls to see if I'd like a smoothie also. Now I'm hooked. I love that this place will customize my smoothie with exactly what i request and it always tastes great! This afternoon I had a smoothie with their non-fat yogurt base, fresh mixed berries, fresh banana, and protein powder. It was the perfect snack to hold me over for 3+ hours until dinner. I've also bought some supplements, vitamins, and sports nutrition bars here in the past. The staff (I believe it's actually the owner that has helped me out) is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the products they carry. I've seen trainers from different gyms there on occasion as well, and I believe they may even have wireless if you want to enjoy your smoothie on the spot! Like I said, I'm hooked... I should probably start one of their 'buy 9 smoothies get the 10th free' cards as I'll be there in no time! See you there! read more

The young folks behind the counter do their best but drinks are inconsistent plus what's almost continuously not working is their ability to calibrate the drinks you've had to earn a free drink. Their little iPad equivalent (software) doesn't function. For weeks we had to Write out phone numbers to get credit. Then they never uploaded it anyway. They owe me about two free drinks they way I calculate it. read more

I love one stop but for some reason this location is not very consistent. Their hours say 8am-8pm but nobody is ever in there until well after 8:30-9:00 am. Service is always excellent! The staff not only knows their stuff but they also make you feel like a friend or family visiting while making your shake. I always ask for recommendations when trying new things and every single one of them blows it out of the water every single time... there is nothing I hate more than asking questions about a menu or for a recommendation and being told I don't know so thank you for being so knowledgeable and friendly and fabulous! I always order the slimmer with the thermo added which keeps me energized and fueled for the day. The shakes don't make you jittery like too much coffee or energy drinks do and added bonus it keeps the hunger away when working long hours. All the flavors are delish but some of my faves are the butterfinger, PB&J and wild berry mango. I literally drink one almost everyday... at least 4-5 times a week they are that good! read more

My favorite place to get a shake! There are a few guys there who are amazing, Seth and Sam....they make great drinks and are super nice :) I get the meal replacement shake with non fat yogurt, chocolate protein, banana, and peanut butter....it's soooooo good, I look forward to it all the time! I'm sorry, I have to update this review. The years have gone by and a bad experience still haunts me. Some years back around the time I originally reviewed this place, I went in to get a smoothie and/or some protein. I was (still am) a pretty fat, out of shape dude, but I was trying to care about self-maintenance and the Pure Fitness gym across the lot had just closed down, and rumor at the time was that it had been bought out by L.A. Fitness. So here at One Stop Nutrition I tried to ask about that whole situation, and ask the guy what he thought about L.A. Fitness. I was comparing experiences from what was Pure Fitness with L.A. Fitness. But the guy at the counter said, "Look, I don't want to SOCIALIZE. Just get your stuff and leave." At the moment, I thought he was saying this in context, as in he didn't want to socialize at the gym. But that just doesn't make sense. *Get* your things at a gym? I am still jaw-dropped amazed at how incredibly, horrifically rude people can be. I never went back. Not sure why I never updated this review, either; it was a glowing review this whole time. That guy's probably not working there anymore. But that hurt. It really hurt. Specifically it hurt my ability to believe in humankind. read more

I was craving a treat so I came by OSN for an afternoon smoothie. First of all, I love the way you can really custom order your smoothie. Yogurt, milk, soy milk, or orange juice. They have loads of fruit flavors but I will say that I was a little disappointed that they use the Oasis fruit concentrate syrups instead of frozen fruit. Then there are the add-ins: immunity boost, ginseng, protein, fat burner, flaxseed oil and more. The smoothie i ordered (soy milk with mango-raspberry) was soooo yummy (and huge)! I started off on the frequent smoothie-er card too, though I think this will be a somewhat infrequent treat because of the fruit syrups. Places like this are a great concept: If you're being food-conscious and on the go and need a quick protein option that doesn't involve requesting all sorts of adjustments ("hold the sauce, grilled only, no butter"), this place is ideal. I walked in between a wedding ceremony and a reception that was going to involve lots of stuff I can't eat this particular week, was greeted by a friendly guy manning the place. Told him I just needed something to hold me until we survived the reception and made our way home. For $4ish bucks, I got a huge cup of ~25g of protein - exactly what I was looking for: whey isolate, vanilla, water-based, NOT sweetened (though they do have that option), to go...YO HO! This place is a perfect model for retail customer service, It's hands down the best supplement/vitamin shop you will ever find in the area. When you walk into a GNC or a Hi-health store you will typically find 1 employee running the store who is usually behind the desk reading a book or magazine who if you're lucky might greet you when you walk in the door. The best is when you have an 65 yr old lady attempting to talk to you about working out and Creatine supplements. Not to mention all these other retail stores are much more expensive!! This place is a breath of fresh air for anyone who purchases supplements and doesn't always have the time to research product before coming in. I consider myself knowledgeable when it comes to health supplements but this guys really really know what they are talking about!!! You can tell they take pride in what they do and will have no problem answering your questions and giving you there full attention. Best part is there smoothie selection, its amazing and has something for you no matter what type of diet your on from Mass Gainers, Low Carb, Meal Replacements amongst others I've not not tried while having the typical add in that other place offer(ginseng, multi-vitamin, energy boost). Hats off to the owner for what he's created here! As someone has mentioned previously, he typically buys his product off Amazon which is great, however these people supply me with the best customer service, the most up to date product information, and having no problem stopping what they are doing as soon as I walk into the store to assist me. This is my PLACE. All the workers are attentive, kind and the store is located in the most convenient spot. Decent customer service. Not very helpful to people when they first walk in, but as far as I have been there there has always been 2 people behind the counter which is good. The smoothie was not very good. Only fresh thing in it was a banana the rest was nasty processed strawberry sludge and canned pineapple. All this let alone how little fruit was put in the smoothie, It tasted like a fruit flavored ICEE. I would honestly rather spend less money on fruit at the Safeway across the street. read more
