I appreciate Aba. Aba was so informative. I called to ask her to schedule an appointment and to find out how much it would cost for someone to come inspect my house for air quality. Instead, she help me trouble shoot over the phone for the few possibilities my air quality is causing my allergic reaction. I just had a new air conditioner installed, new duct work, hepa filter and air scrubber. I discovered the air scrubber irritated my throat and smelled bad. So I had it removed, I continued to have problems which resulted in a ER visit. Aba said it is probably not the 5 inch hepa filter opposed to the 1 inch filter, I had been using the 1 inch filter for the last 16 years with no problem. I took the 1 inch filter out and replaced it with the 5 inch hepa filter, but I am still having throat irritation and tingling on my tongue. I opened all the doors for about 5 hours, still problems, then I closed all the doors and waiting to see if it makes a difference. Aba said that if I am still having problems it has to be the duct work. So; I called the guy that sold me this new system and told him if I don't get relief he has to send an inspector to check the duct work. His response was "so you want to pay someone to come and tell me our work is bad". I said you told me when you insulated the duct that it would have to be inspected after installation, now you are saying that does not have to happen for new duct work.
