Solid place to get a massage. I've been here once before, awhile back. I'm not sure what I got last time, but I remember it being out in the main room and moving chairs between a foot massage and back massage. This time I was taken to a room with a curtain. Clothes stay on, and they use lotion on the arms, neck, and legs/ feet. But I got a one hour massage for $60 which is a very reasonable price. I walked out feeling much lighter and with the knots in my back and legs soothed out. They open at 11, but I arrived around 1040 and was helped right away. So it might be possible to come earlier. Came here to get a quick foot massage along with my husband who comes here regularly. You have to go out of your way to come here, which is good because there isn't constant foot traffic walking by. There was just a short wait but it wasn't more than 10 minutes. We were seated in large chairs that are adjustable and have additional pillows for your comfort. A gentleman did my foot massage and the pressure was heavy lol. I'm sure I could've told him to adjust but I think the heavy pressure was needed to really work out some of those knots. Overall, I really enjoyed my massage and will be coming back. I'm a frequent client for massages and definitely need it for my active lifestyle. My girlfriend and I decided to come here for a couples massage, and we're surprised that they didn't take appointments, weird....but OK?!? We did a 60-minute head to toe massage that was very vigorous and occasionally painful. We both debated on telling the masseuse to ease up on the pressure, but we didn't. At the end of the day, that pressure helped release a lot of knots and tension in our bodies. They should probably inform their clients on how much pressure they are going to apply. This amount of pressure is generally considered deep tissue and is on par with a Thai massage. There are people who want that type of massage and others who don't. Please look below for my pros/cons and that may help you narrow your decision on whether to come here. PROS: 1. Many masseuses on staff (4 when we went) 2. Convenient location inside a mall 3. Overall, I would say, they are really skilled here. We are in search of our go to massage place and I think we found something good! It's located in Prince George's mall near the target side. Here's my takeaway: 1) space- there is not privacy. There are some layout tables and seats within the front. No barriers so you see everyone. I would prefer not to be out in the open. 2) massage- at first I was like, wow! This guy is putting force and it felt good. Then it turned into "omg- this hurts!" Lol i was at the borderline of letting my masseuse know to go a bit softer. But I hung in there and realized he was doing a full on deep tissue massage to get all those stubborn knots out. Didn't realize how crazy my knots were! He stayed with that force throughout. I have no idea how they do not get tired! Give them all the props. 3) the price! $60 for 60 minutes. Not bad! Hubby and I came here for the first time on a Friday evening. I got a 45 minute massage and he received 60 minutes. Total came to $110, without tip. What's Hot - Price. Very reasonable, especially depending on the length and type of massage you're getting. For my 45 minute massage, I was charged $50. Hubby's 60 minute massage was $60. We both received the full body acupressure massage and lay on a massage table. - Quality. I fully enjoyed my massage, but hubby wasn't happy with his, which I explain below. If you get full body acupressure, they start you on the table lying on your front and you switch to your back for the end. I explained to my masseuse where my problem areas were, like my back and shoulders. However, he asked me if I still wanted him to massage my feet, which I responded that I did. He paid extra attention to those areas and I felt my back crack in a few areas, which I fully appreciated. He massaged my feet with massage oil and wiped them down with a warm moist towel at the end. Excellent pressure, which is what I'm used to and expect from Asian massages. - Service. They're pretty good about trying to ensure they get to each customer and can provide the time requested. Because hubby and I arrived close to 2 hours before they close, they were running short on time. One of their staff told me they couldn't guarantee each of us the 1 hour massage we wanted. We appreciated his honesty. He apologized and explained how tight on time they were, which was helpful. - Payment system. They take credit card. One might think this is to be expected, but trust me when I saw that not all Chinese run businesses will take credit card. I've been to plenty of Chinese massage places that will only take cash. That they take credit card and you can tip via credit card is certainly helpful. - Location and layout. Their located towards the back of the mall, away from the main section. Although you can hear some static noise from the mall, it's not that bad. Additionally, they keep their lighting low and reasonable. From what we saw, there are 2 massage chairs and 4 massage tables. - Health and safety. All their staff wear masks. Whenever they finish with a customer on a table, they spray disinfectant and change the face towel linings. The staff I saw, who gave foot reflexology massages wore latex gloves, as well. What's Not - Wait time. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a massage. I ended up waiting later, because a customer added time to his massage at the last minute. Frustrating, but it appears that's how this place operates. That this place operates more on a walk-in basis and last minute makes it difficult to plan ahead of time. Hubby and I came on a Friday evening, which was not a wide choice, so learn from our mistake. Point is to be prepared to wait. - Lack of tailored specificity. Asian massage places tend to lack the personal touch, but that's the norm. Hubby wasn't satisfied with his massage, but for good reason. He was dealing with a pinched nerve. I explained to his masseuse (in Chinese) exactly where my husband was experiencing pain and tension. Unfortunately, his masseuse didn't take the additional time to get a better understanding of my husband's situation. As a result, my husband's masseuse applied too much pressure and put my husband's body in some awkward positions, which wasn't helpful. Hubby said he's willing to return for foot reflexology, but not for the full body acupressure. - Open spacing. To be fair, not having your own private room is not terrible. We don't mind hearing the timers go off and the occasional low level talking. It's having other disrespectful customers, especially those who leave their bratty children run wild. I appreciate and understand that children are children. However, if you're the only parent with your children and you leave your children to run wild while in the mall push cart with popsicles, candy, and a whole bunch of sweets? Don't come in and let other customers bear the brunt of your irresponsibility, Final Answer Would be willing to come back. Hubby will probably get the foot reflexology, rather than the full body acupressure, though because his body is less tolerant of the pressure. This place is awesome! I called to make a same-day appointment but no one answered. I decided to take a chance and walk-in. I was very glad that I did. It is an open-environment (I did not get a private room and I don't know if they have any) in a shopping mall near Target. One middle-aged lady greeted me and started working on me after starting a 30-minute timer. She spoke little English and I did not get her name, but she was amazing. Every pressure point she touched--- she hit the right spot. Aghh... my sore knots dissolved. It was the best 30 min I have ever spent. I think I got a 60 minute worth of massage in 30 min. I wanted to extended the session by another 10 or 20 min but it was already 8:45 pm (they close at 9), and I will be back. I live in California, and I wish I had a place like this near my work. The prices are great but the acoustics of where this place is located is soooo loud, it's hard to enjoy the massage when you got noise coming from the mall and people walking in and out talking. They need to shut the doors but that might make people think they are closed so I get it. Also, the only reason they get 3 stars is because they do not change the towels people lay on between services - they use the same towels! I've been back several times and have to increase my rating. What's changed: 1. The first night I went, it was loud - the therapists were talking. That seems to be an anomaly, as I've not noticed much talking any of the other times I've gone. 2. I've found a favorite masseuse - one of the gentlemen who works there wears roundish glasses (I think he's the only one who wears glasses at all) is fantastic. Slightly less pressure than some of the others, but still effective. And at this point, he seems to remember my issues and goes straight to work on my problem spots without even needing me to ask. As good as I feel after a massage here, as convenient as it is (in, out - no need for an appointment, fully clothed massage), as reasonable the price is (for what I pay for a measly 20 minutes in downtown DC, I get an hour here), I'm a regular now. read more

I love this place. I make it point to wear yoga pants or leggings and a comfortable t-shirt so the therapist can get through. It is in a mall and there is a little mall fall out, but I usually am so focused on how well my massage therapist of choice is getting deep into my muscles and hitting trigger points and trouble spots, I'm barely aware. The place is clean, dimly lit, smells nice, and even though there are other therapists and clients around, you barely notice. This is deep tissue work, so sometimes it can be a little intense, but mostly, it's a great experience for a great price and I get more benefits out of the work done on me there than all the high priced spa massages I've had put together. read more
