From the moment we were called back, the assistant was incredibly rude. He didn't let my other kids come back with us and had me leave them alone in the waiting room. He asked what my child eats in a very judgmental tone, and then made a snarky comment implying that cavities are caused by "too much McDonald's," which felt unnecessary and insulting. On top of that, they wanted to redo X-rays we had already completed just a week prior, which felt like poor planning. If they needed new images, that should have been communicated before making me come in, instead of wasting our time. The whole experience left me feeling uneasy and judged rather than supported as a parent. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office to other families looking for a kind, professional environment.

Imagine mixing a preschool teacher with a dentist, that's Shiny Chompers. They welcome new patients by name, and the reception is filled with TV, toys, tablets, and a large fish tank. Parking can be limited, but there is an elevator to take the stroller up to the second floor that the office is located on. They are incredibly thorough and make each session enjoyable and comfortable. They have tvs and sunglasses for kids to use during their dental appointments and always send kids home with a goody bag and token to use at one of the many vending machines filled with prizes in the lobby.

My daughter had a cavity and the Dentist suggested that instead of just giving my daughter a filling , a white cap would look better aesthetically. Trying to get my daughter to hold still for something that took that long was very challenging. This ended up being a two day procedure. Because , of the difficulty ( she was terrified and it took 3 people to hold her to have this done ) the work wasn't done well. This was done to her two front teeth. Although she only had a cavity on one two both were filed , the affected tooth more . Within months the cap fell off.;(3 months) My daughter rarely smiles with her teeth showing since this happened. Before this she always had a big smile. I have taken her to two Dentist since and been told this was totally unnecessary work that was done to her. I know as a Mom this has impacted her self esteem. I thought this was great two women running a Dental Practice. I was referred to them by my regular dentist. But , now almost a year later I realize what a mistake it was to trust this practice. Every time I have to beg my daughter to show to smile big and she won't I think of this. I hope no other child experiences this

Had to schedule a follow up appointment. It was very easy to schedule the appointment. The orthodontist is only in the office at this location on Fridays. At her last cleaning I was able to get an appointment for this day to get her retainer re sized. Her gums have shrunk a little bit over the years so had to get a new pair. Everyone here is very friendly. They will either email or text you the forms you need to fill out for the visit digitally. I will continue to come here until she reaches adulthood.

The hygienists are pleasant, keeping my kids calm by explaining everything they are going to do. The dentist they see is super friendly and personable, she has a great rapport with them. My kids have come here for cleanings, cavity fillings and slightly more complicated things.
