The physical therapists are really hit and miss. Some of them are really good and some of them are clearly just going through the motions. It is really hard to schedule with the therapists you want (and they don't tell you when you're first scheduling that you'll have a different person each time.) They send you exercises to do at home, and will eventually update them if you ask. For me a lot of them were not really helpful. Some days it is very quiet and some days they are so busy that they're just running between patients. I would recommend asking for Madison or Jessie when scheduling, they are both really good.

Pretty hard to recommend a business practice that mistakenly loads the full months-long PT schedule…read morefor your recovery, and instructs you that all these are tasks you must perform on the day of surgery and the 2 weeks before your follow-up. When I called repeatedly and questioned that it looked pretty challenging immediately following surgery, and that several of the exercises like sets of "chair sits" on the day of surgery seemed excessive, I was told repeatedly by the PT staff, and the Dr covering for my surgeon, that "everyone complains about PT", and that if I didn't complete my PT, my surgery could be a failure, which I was also informed of at the surgery center the morning of the procedure. As a result of the PT error, I had torn meniscus, scar tissue and cartilage in my knee joint and 11 months of futile PT. I was never offered an acknowledgement of error or an apology.

Dr. Anderson told me he gets paid $30 for a consult. While preparing for a surgery date I have not received any call from his office for a more than a month, except for the call from their collections department wanting the $213. I will never use him or Core again. If you want crappy service use Core.

Appointments, prescriptions, and insurance approvals are a constant battle. Prior authorizations are routinely mishandled, forcing me to pay out of pocket because the office fails to follow through. Responses often take 15-20 days, and I've had to go in person just to get basic issues addressed. Most concerning, after my fourth back surgery, the office forgot I had surgery and had no pain management plan in place. Most recently, I went to the North Scottsdale office to speak with management, only to be scheduled for a 2:45 PM TeleMed appointment that never happened. When I followed up hours later, I was told "providers sometimes run late." A missed TeleMed appointment by several hours is unacceptable. High staff turnover, overwhelmed providers, and a clear focus on billing over patient care. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I can confirm that calls to their office would ring and ring, I'd be put on a hold, saying the call would be answered in one minute, followed by a voicemail stating heavy call volume and after 2 to 3 hours the call would just disconnect. I tried this for an entire business day and never got through to the office. The two Drs who really made a difference during their short employment at IPC were Dr Stephen Karp & Dr Jason, as well as their medical assistants, who kept the "Human" in patient care, and took the time to understand my chronic health condition and the most appropriate care plan for me, not for the general population with my condition.
